hi, I have a H2n, nearly 4 years, good portable sound device. I recently plugged into the H2n, a Rode NTG4+ condenser microphone to record some live acoustic guitar.. what a difference. It is worth its little weight for the money.
Wow! That sounded great! - for a relatively inexpensive recorder and onboard mic. Zoom (and I assume Tascam as well) really offer a lot for your money these days. Have you tried the other modes that the H2n offers such as ambisonics? I don't really understand "mid-side" or what it offers over XY.
