Well, sometimes I go out by myself And I look across the water And I think of all the things, what you do And in my head, I make a picture 'Cause since I've come on home Well, my body's been a mess And I've missed your ginger hair And the way you like to dress Won't you come on over? And stop makin' a fool out of me Why don't you come on over Valerie? Valerie Did you have to go to jail? Put your house up on for sale Did you get a good lawyer? I hope you didn't catch a tan I hope you'll find the right man Who'll fix it for ya Are you shoppin' anywhere? Changed the color of you hair, are you busy? Yeah, 'cause since I've come on home Well, my body's been a mess And I've missed your ginger hair And the way you like to dress Won't you come on over? Yes,lead singer wrote it when on a trip to USA,Valerie was the daughter of the music producer where they were recording and his hotel was over the river from the studios where she lived-one of Noel Gallaghers top 5 fav songs..the story behind how he wrote the song just adds to it and no wonder Amy loved it so much she did her version
@@FAITHandLOGIC >"Uhhhhh … that’s a tall order." Your reply would be spot on if we had an idea who Amy "Winehorse" was. I'm guessing the Southmead Lad cannot tell the difference between a house and a horse.
@@ApotropaicV Valerie you made my day. She is beautiful though isn’t she? I see my granddaughters worry about their weight so much. It kills me. They are healthy strong girls all beautiful.. Telling Gary to zip it was hilarious. You have a great day OK. I’m going to tell my grandson to Zip it. Damn games to loud.lol.
@@ApotropaicV Do you know the difference between the spelling of bowl and bowel and what each of them mean? You may need to re-read the original comment from Fuzzy Butkus to see why I questioned the spelling. If you require clarification......get yourself a dictionary.
It would seem Valerie Neilson has gone to ground and deleted all comments where she claims that I will never have a song written in my name. True enough, but....how delusional do you have to be to think this fantastic track was in anyway related to you(her)
>"Valerie is that "female" sax player...that's a trans!" The "female sax player" is neither Valerie nor a trans. She is Abi Harding, a member of the Zutons when the record came out.
