So...I've been following along and last night I grabbed a bunch of envelopes, 3 or 4 different sizes and messed around with them! yeah, so I left them for the night thinking I had it set and would start gluing this morning. Lol 🤣needless to say, I spent another while rearranging the envelopes! I did glue them in place this time. I watched your video today while I was sorting through some papers for a signature. I only did two and kept them to 10 pages each! I am proud to say they are sewn in!☺ I can't wait for tomorrow! Maybe I should mention I've only made one complete journal and it was a teeny tiny one and one practice one that is on going... I use it to try new things. So to make it this far is awesome!! Thank you so much for the inspiration and all the fun videos. I have truly enjoyed your 100 day projects.💕

I love watching from the sidelines, Your ideas come together. I love the idea of sewing a small signature on a folded page. I also want to share had you left a bit of space in the fabric on the spine, would this allowed for more room for the last signature? I love this entire series. ending with a "full on Journal" - A sideline follower... ; )

I absolutely LOVE this ! And that comment about “if you want perfect you might as well buy one made in a factory” is so true. I’m a perfectionist and therefore never get anything done …. I must channel you.

If you needles that you got with your bookbinding kit are to sharp. You can dull the sharp end of the needle by filing it on cement. It will flatten the point of the needle. Saw my grandma do that when she needed a full tip needle. I saw her sharpen her kitchen knife by running along the cement sidewalk. Then she went out and cut vegetables in her garden. She a farmers wife , a little ruff around the edges. That's a American slang saying. Ha ha..

I use very similar plastic boxes for my larger fussy cuts that won’t fit in the little plastic boxes. I have clear lucite containers that stack for my scraps. Poor Lulu. I had terrible tonsils too. My mom said I was sick all the time. They took mine out.

For this journal, are you printing your pages on 28 lb copy paper or on a card stock like 65 lb or more? Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us. You explain things very well.

Hi Rachel. I’m sure you have been asked a million times, but what paper do you use, when printing your digital’s? I have an epson eco tank which is new. X🌸X

Making it with you, made 9” envelopes just so I can play, at last a use for oversized pages, somehow managed to flip the last envelopes so my 3rd signature is at the back. How did that happen? Maybe I wasn’t in the room and the dog did it. Looking forward to 2moro x

Absolutely love this type of journal Rachel. I could have watched you decorate this journal for hours! Cant wait for the next video. Thanks for sharing your time with all of us. Hope Lulu feels better soon. One of my daughters had the same type of tonsils. At times they were so swollen they would touch. She had repeatedly bouts of staph infections and finally had them removed when she was a teenager. The staph infections stopped thankfully.
