This would make a sweet 'folder' for a travel/adventure type journal. Each one would hold all the pictures/brochures/other bits, for each adventure! Make a journal with fat pockets to tuck these into.

After watching this, I pulled some of my (many) books off the shelf and removed images/pages I normally wouldn't use. I always seem to be attracted to the same images or just used them for fussy cutting. I spent the next day having sun making ephemera using images of buildings, rooms, historical herbal gardens, and landscapes. Thanks for the ideas!

Morning Rachel, these are super cute pockets. You used some lovely page, loved the medieval look of them. Clever way of closures, very useable and not at all bulky for the journal. Will defo be usuing one or two of these for a junk journal I am making for hubbies birthday. Using some ephemera from his "days gone by" Thank you for your inspiration. These would be great bound together with the folded paper spine. You could use each one to collect items while traveling. Stick in a photo or two. Jot a few notes. Perfect travel journal.
