Day 33 of my #the100dayproject . Today I am sewing in my signatures and hidden spine in my new hoardie journal inspired by @Pandora’s Junk Journals. I am calling it my hoardy journal!

I’ve never seen such cool papers before…just gorgeous!!! My hubbie and I were suppose to go to Italy for our 30 anniversary but COVID happened and had to cancel…love all you do!!

love love all those beautiful old papers so I popped to your shop to see what you had in there. I was happy to see a book page pack there so I am looking forward to some lovely old Italian book pages. You can imagine old papers are like hens teeth in little New Zealand. xx

I’m going to have to use the book I bought from you and some of your documents as well as some of my own and make a journal for me. I always gift them to family and friends. I will keep this very special one for me. Love the hidden spine. I think it’s one of my favorite ways to bind in the signatures. Thank you for sharing.

Oh my gosh, yummy 😋. The videos not even done but those pages are just delicious! You can even see the cotton content as you turn the pages, can almost feel it through the screen😁

Thank you for this! Perfect timing. I just made a few journal covers and decorated the spines with fancy fabric only to then be presented with the dilemma of sewing in the signatures without ruining the look of the fabric!

This is such a great idea & I imagine you’re going to have to make at least a couple more!! Was that green floral paper a Florentine paper? You probably have already covered that topic in a video, I just haven’t seen it yet. Do they make new designs every year or so & then the older ones go out of print? Are the older ones scannable? I think putting some of your favorite ephemera is nice also! Just lovely!

No the Florentine paers aren't scannable. The green paper was a book end paper. Thank you so much!
