We had an amazing day at Discovery Cove! The entire family went to celebrate Thea's first birthday. The day starts bright and early at 7am, the park is officially open but the waterways do not open until 9am. In the meantime, we ate breakfast, checked into our cabana, and got our vests. The vests are no longer required in the fresh water. We requested a fresh water cabana but was told it was a first come first serve basis, luckily we checked in early and got the perfect cabana located by the aviary. Discovery Cove has an aviary where you can feed all types of birds. We decorated the cabana for Thea's birthday, but keep in mind you can only bring decorations if you purchased a cabana. We ended up bringing the stroller because Thea can easily fall asleep in it but she enjoyed napping in the hammock. Discovery Cove is a great place to bring babies who love to swim and play in the sand. We hope you enjoyed celebrating with us!
