she also have beautiful album where she kinda cover old songs but with her own style and she even have concert with them also song "hello" ost "adrenaline" and many others osts too collabs with moonbnyul 'bada boom" "promise you" collabs with kassy,eddy kim and few other all mmm girls have solid solo career with many songs

Next time you do Mamamoo stuff, go to their official channel then the subs come up in English. Moonbyul, Wheein and Hwasa just had comebacks this last couple months too

wheeins charisma is very hard to pinpoint right away. she is one of the more reserved/shy members she isn’t always comfortable with a camera. but especially the fact that this was a performance video for a b-side mostly focused on dance, she wasn’t really trying to sell the song w facial expressions. once you understand her and her personality it becomes easier to recognize and appreciate the charisma that she does offer

Appreciate the attention shown to Mamamoo, always! Only thing I'll say is it's always good to do a bit of research or reach out to the fanbase on social media if you're unsure about something or have questions prior to the recording of your awesome react vids. I can't say it's not a wee bit frustrating when there are some major gaps in knowledge that make themselves evident in the vid that often affect the review and can be off putting to fans (who are typically the ones watching these vids). Please keep doing what you're doing--everything takes time and I know you'll get better and better!

I agree about Moonbyul voice. Not typical, a unique tone. The first time i listen to her rap in immortal song, i fall in love with her voice right away. She’s very involved in her music from concept, lyrics, composition. Her solo stuff is my cup of tea. She’s a good lyricist, more poetic. That’s why i love her.

i just want to tell you that every mamamoo or member of mamamoo's songs has depper meaning than it looks. for Twit, it's actually more than calling her lover a fool for loving her so much it has deeper meaning and there's a video explaining the symbolism in the lyrics and MV. Maria also and all of their songs. they're so smart and artistic when it comes to their lyrics and meaning behind each song

So true! But I feel Hwasa's solos are the most complex when talking about meaning, her songs are always (for me) the hardest to decipher the meaning and to understand things like korean references in them. Which make them a delight, it's like poetry 😍 Moonbyul lyrics are not so hard to understand for me, but there's an element of poetry in them that I love as well. Mamamoo girlies just being talented ♡

Well Wheein just got her first solo win from her new comeback called “Make Me Happy” and I think she needs to hear her new song. (Everyone in Mamamoo has their own style of music and Wheein is more reserved and less flashy then her members cuz she lets her vocals do all the talking for her) hints why she just got her first win on M Countdown

All 4 of the girls are actually going to be having their comebacks this year, Moonbyul and Wheein already had their comebacks but they said that they'll be doing another comeback this year. Solar will have a comeback this year too(it might be releasing soon since she teased that she was recoding in an insta post) and Hwasa said that she'll be releasing a full album this year.

Ofc she is not the same person ofc she can not have z same charisma. As u said every eyes have it's own perspective and perceptions. Am just saying u can't judge her based on just a vid and when u see her individually not comparing or connecting other's to her then may be u can see for what she truly is. Wheein is an artist that makes music that represents her. She may not be everyone's cup of tea(cause ppl's want is unlimited and insatiable) but she makes genuine music. Am just saying see her for her.

Moonbyul has a successful regular show called Studio Moon Night, which is aired every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9pm KST. It's really famous and well-liked by artists, idols, and everyone that has ever been on her show. :)

Its crazy how she caught on to the fact that whee doesnt really look into it, no doubt she does it very well. She was having creative diff with her previous company, and stated in a interview that behind the scene it was not smooth for her. You can see the diff in her latest solo (now she is in a diff company) and you can SEE she looks so much more happy and in her element

i would highly recommend moonbyul's lunatic, ddu ddu ddu, hwasa's i'm a b and wheein's make me happy, paraglide, pastel. these are from their recent released albums. i would also recommend moonbyul's it's live performance of lunatic which is a perfect example of how much she has improved as a singer as well as as a rapper and an artist in general.

Sorry to be salty but really, minimal effort would have been required to learn that Solar has an MV for her solo song Spit It Out and that you can easily change the subtitles to English. Though I love Absence and Trash they weren't main singles so they were odd song choices to introduce Moonbyul and Wheein. Absence was only released with the performance video you saw. It was included on a repackaged album that came out about a month after her album Dark Side of the Moon and the single Eclipse. Trash is also a performance video only and was a b-side from her album Redd that featured the New Jack Swing song Watercolor as the main single. Hwasa's biggest influence is Beyonce. You weren't far off with your interpretation of Twit but there's more to it than that. The lyrics would have helped but even then there's some Korean word play and cultural references that most westerners need help with. There's an excellent video by David Kim of DKDK-TV if you're interested called Hwasa - Twit Explained by a Korean. Moonbyul was originally a singer. Because Mamamoo already had three of the best female singers of their generation in Solar, Wheein and Hwasa, Moonbyul was converted to a rapper in order to debut with Mamamoo in 2014. She took to rap quickly and began to write her own rap verses to suit her style. At this point she's the most credited female songwriter of her generation and is considered to be one of if not the best girl group rapper. Other than harmonies she didn't really start singing with MMM until 2018 and has come a long way since then. She adds another color to their vocal palette and they've been utilizing her more as a singer over the last couple of years. Wheein is the most reserved and shy member of Mamamoo and the least flamboyant in performance. Since it's a performance video Trash focuses on the dancing but facial expressions are certainly part of any performance so it's fair to say that she doesn't give you as much as Hwasa or Moonbyul in that regard.

@@AceShinkenGames Thanks for explaining - I was lost. I was only complaining about the lack of effort with Solar & subtitles. Everything else was meant as info. I assume he picked Absence & Trash because he likes those songs and wanted to share them. I thought it was odd to start with b-sides but I should have made it clear that I also love those songs and wasn't criticizing his choices, just thought they needed more context and introduction.

I will say that Trash isnt a song where wheein is calling the guy trash, its where she cant seem to handle her thoughts about the relationship (a bit where she wants to take the relationship to the next level) and kinda reprimands herself by saying her head is filled with "trash"

Moonbyul was made to rap by their company because they needed a rapper and of the four members she was the "worst" vocally. Being made to rap hurt her confidence in her voice, and it took a while for her to slowly build her confidence back up as a vocalist. She recently had a comeback, and she shines both as a vocalist and a rapper throughout her new music. Her song "ddu ddu ddu" is amazing.

Advice: for you to not miss any member's projects/works, I think you should make a research first. 😅 or take suggestions from fans as well. Not just show what comes up in YT search. 😊
