Girl Crush and Sky Sky were for video games. I love mobster Wheein in Girl Crush. Everyday is for the yogurt they are making smoothies with. I find the contrast between Hwasa, offering the fruit and then eating it herself, and Solar, actually feeding the guy, really amusing. Right at the beginning you will hear "Cosmic" who is one of their main producers. It really plays into their stage personas. I love Gleam the song, they've definitely performed it in concert. I find the amount of product placement in it enough to bother me. My favorite CF of theirs is WooHoo. Some suggestions: The video Solar made from the Solarsido title song Ddun Ddun Ddun. Also on Solarsido her Bluebird OST, her raw accappella covers of Speechless and Believer all of her dance covers. Hwasa's covers of Watermelon Sugar and Talk. Also her draft version of Dingga on her youtube channel. Wheein's cover of Candy and her dance videos. Moonbyul's choreographed version of Sequence on her channel.

Sky Sky is for me the most "KPop"-song they have. When ever this things starts I hear GFriend and need some seconds to realize I still listen to MMM. And I heard somewhere, that is the MV they think is most cringy, even if the songs itself is good. And if you want CF listen to WooHoo ;-) Wheeins high notes in this are out of this world

Gosh, I love Mamamoo but honestly, I always have a blast just watching your expressions and hearing your little comments to the videos. I just spent 20 minutes laughing, thank you for the reaction! Answering the questions of what the cf were about Girl Crush was an OST for the mobile game 'Innisia Nest'. Every day was for the yogurt brand Maeil Bio. Sky! Sky! was for the mobile game Icarus M. Gleam was for the eyeglass brand Davich Optical. And yes, I absolutely agree with you about the rap in Sky! Sky! I bet her deep tone would have sounded amazing in the song but… yeah. And yes! Gleam is an absolute masterpiece; I believe that they have performed in concerts a few times. If you want to listen to more of her songs, I would recommend some of the bsides from their older albums when they still had that heavy jazzy sound so you can see their development having heard their recent songs. I personally like Gentleman(from Hello album); Freaking Shoes, No no no and Self Camera (from Pink Funky album); and Friday Night, Funky Boy andEmotion (from Melting album)

Usually RBW in house PDs and musicians do those CF songs, which was why they always have high quality. And I don't know if anyone mentioned before, but...that's Ravn (of Oneus) in Everyday MV. He was still a trainee then. :)

Most of their cf songs are done in-house, yes. The majority are from the duo of cosmic sound (composer/producer) and cosmic girl (singer/somgwriter). They usually have the 'cosmic' audio tag at the start of their tracks (but not "woohoo", as that predated the audio tag). Cosmic girl loves wordplay so often incorporates the name of the company or bramd a cf is for into the song. "Everyday", for example, was for maeil company's bio yogurt (and 'everyday' sounded like maeil bio) "Sky sky" is a big exception, being produced by people that did much od gfriend's music. The big problem a lot of moomoos had was the song sounded like gfriend and not mamamoo. Well...and the video... Funny enough, mamamoo themselves love the song "sky sky" but try to forget the video exists (hwasa did a short skit on that in one of their concerts)

about wordplay want to add that in gleam which is for davich eyewear they say "dabichina" or smth like that (sorry for a terrible romanization) which sounds similar to davich and has to do smth with shining bright if I'm correct

Girl Crush and Sky Sky are cf's for mobile phone games while Maeil Bio (Everyday) and Taste The Feeling are cf's for Yoghurt and of course Coca Cola and lastly, Gleam is a cf for Davich Eyewear. For all of the Mamamoo members Sky Sky is their cringiest mv because it's a concept they can't stand (cute girl concept). It sounds and looks just like a Gfriend song and mv because Gfriends producer made the song. Taste The Feeling is a Korean version of the very popular original US Coca Cola advertisement song from the 90's-2000's.

And Mamamoo knows the Gfriend style inside out from a multi-episode arc called Showtime, where the two groups interacted, and the final was each group filming a cover of the other group's most popular (at the time) MV; Mamamoo did "Me Gustas Tu" and Gfriend did "You're The Best"

Girl Crush is 3:08, they dropped the second verse for the video. Innisia Nest was an online game. In two of the songs (both by Cosmic Girl), there is wordplay on the product they're promoting: - Everyday was a promo for a Maeil Bio (Everyday in English) yoghurt. - Gleam was for Davich Optical's range of eyewear. Dabichina in Korean (used in the chorus) means everything shines.

Hwasa’s typically in a tub or, at minimum, a bathroom lol. I theorized that a bathroom is/has become her comfort place. They've talked about how Hwasa used to go to the bathroom and listen to music for hours, to get some time to herself lol Mamamoo themselves cringe at Sky!Sky! It's a great song, but I can't handle the floating, flying, and "oh did you call me" look back 😂😂😂 There's an episode and/or clip of them on weekly idol or playroom watching this lol Also, I think the Coca-Cola song is global. I'm pretty sure I've heard an English version, by a celebrity (can't remember who) I know you've reacted to a lot of b-sides already, but maybe reacting to the rest you haven't? Don't want miss them! Another thing, would be cool OSTs; there are a few by OT4, but many solo. Mostly ballads 🙃 There's a ship series by insomniamoo. Please ship responsibly. I just love to see tbe dynamics 😊

Ah the typical Cosmic Girl and Cosmic Sound duo at it again. They’re really the best when it comes to Mamamoo songs and they kill it again and again when they do their ads too! You can recognize their songs with the “Cosmic” voice tag in the beginning! Gleam, Wanna Be Myself, Finally, Rude Boy, Everyday, Midnight Summer Dream, Universe, Better, My Star? And also some one the best Oneus, Purple Kiss, Hwasa b-sides? They really never go wrong tbh. And yes, they are RBW in house producers! Fun Fact: When Gleam came out everyone really thought it was a comeback. It trended, other fandoms were talking about, and moos were freaking out because we all thought we’d missed the memo. It really came out of nowhere! All that for glasses!

Mamamoo's CF songs are really something and hit you differently. For more of their music, I recommend I Love You Too which is their first fan song as their 8th anniversary is coming near. The pre-debut song Don't be happy original and 2021 version are great too. For Immortal songs, you should check out "Dance in the Rhythm" and "Violet Fragrance".

Taste the Feeling is actually not even an RBW song -- it's originally an avicii song or something for a coca cola commercial. Coke sponsored some kpop groups to sing it, including mamamoo and NCT. So it's really not my favorite, but I love every single other OST/CF here. Everyday was one of those early mamamoo songs I got addicted to and I had NO idea it was a CF song, I just thought it was a banger single. And Sky!Sky! is a bizarre song because of that rap verse. I agree, I think of 2nd gen gg or old Oh My Girl when I listen to it. A lot of people in the fandom love this song though because the MV was so dumb and mamamoo made fun of the soft pastel concept so much.

Idk man maybe I’m the weird one here but ngl I kinda like the Sky Sky MV. It’s so unique seeing that concept on them, such a breath of fresh air imo. Also not to mention that the song itself is so good. I personally have no issues and didn’t find it cringe at all about the MV. Great video again! I'm really glad you watched the MAMAMOO CF MVs since they dont often get attention. I wish you also watched the "Woo Hoo" MV which was an LG CF. You reacted better than I expected to Sky! Sky! They did the innocent youthful girl concept to challenge the thought "MAMAMOO can execute any genre/concept". They did amazing but we can feel the embarrassment and cringe through the screen 😂

Sky! Sky! to me is like if Mamamoo and GFriend made a song together. Especially since this song had one of GFriend's producers on it. The girls cringe at the MV and moos like to rag on it, but personally, I like this song a lot. From the melody, vocals, choreo, and Byul's rap???? To my ears this is just another Mamamoo A-tier song. Byulie's rap and their sole vocals especially anchor this song down to remind you this is a Mamamoo song. And the choreo also looks so much fun. I think if the MV had been directed differently, it wouldn't get the reputation it has now hahahaha not that I hate the MV, it's actually cute, but prolly a little too cute that it traumatized the girls hahahahaha

Sometimes the song gets written and even performed first before a company picks it up to be their advertisement. For instance, Windex used Grace Vander Waal's song Beautiful Thing for one of THE BEST commercials ever. They used the entire song so the commercial is fully the length of the song and it will draw tears if you get sucked into the storyline in the video. It's AWESOME, based on an awesome song, made by an awesome singer/ songwriter. The song was around for almost a year before it was picked up and made into a video by Windex. And of course there are countless classic rock songs that were around for many years before being picked up by companies for commercials. Bob Seger's song Like A Rock was around for a decade before Chevy picked it up and used part of it for a Truck commercial. Obviously these two examples were from the West but I am sure things could work that way in the East as well.

Also, A common theme with Mamamoo is thier use of puns. the song 'aze gag' is an obvious one, but often their songs, especially the CF songs revolve around plays on words. Gleam is a good example of this.

I would like to introduce a little known MAMAMOO CF song that is also written by Cosmic siblings that they sang for their favourite shop. The original gopchang shop that Hwasa went to eat on her first episode of I Live Alone. Cosmic Sound and Cosmic Girl mentioned in an interview that MAMAMOO songs are the cutest/most fun to write for, and this song was the most memorable, because she had to incorporate all different offal names into the song lyrics. All their CF are just so amazing and they have have live stages of some of them, even in the concerts. Girl Crush is one they performed a lot. And Gleam is one of my favorites ever! Fun fact: our girls themselves cringe with the Sky Sky MV, all Moomoos do as well because the concept is so not them 😂

@@KpopPrince oh sorry, I meant only the MV in specific (the flying and stuff) that is awkward and they even laughed about in a tv show once. But they killed performing this song at one of the 4seasons concerts and it was very cute. They are truly amazing 😄💜

Well hahaha some moos hated Sky Sky so much because the MV is so cringe but I mean the song itself is actually pretty good and such a bop imo. I never skip that song in my playlist. Music is music, MV is MV so yeah...but that's just me tho haha lol.
