It was nerfed to the ground because practically He was the only one to make it work and it worked well for him. Each champion he plays is nerfed to the ground. Sion, Rammus, Quinn, gragas and voli. For him it's not that important to go MOST CORRECT build and playstyle ever. Because it's boring for him.

Can yamato never cast this tourney again? sure enjoying a streamer or not is a matter of taste, but in this case it's just a really specific kind of taste that doesn't fit a tourney including many big streamers. He just complains 24/7 and takes the excitement out of the games! Maybe just my taste tho
