He has become one of my favorite artists. His voice is something special and the songs are so different. Super humble dude as well. If you're looking for more songs there's a live version of The Longing on his channel that you'll appreciate the aesthetics of, and there's a fantastic live version of So It Goes (at Olympia, Paris) on YT that would make for a great reaction. Great to see him get some love. And 100% agreed on the Dune ST!

May I suggest you to discover another Belgian artist (Tamino is Belgian) called Stromae. Here are a few suggestions: Papaoutai, Formidable, Tous les mêmes, Quand C’est, Carmen, Ta fête, Ave Cesaria, Santé, Fils de joie. He’s a true artist and a genius in my opinion. Hope you’ll enjoy. 🙏🏼😊

You're so right, he is very ethereal, like he's seen things in other lives. lol It's definitely like poetry, it just takes you somewhere else. And the emotion in his voice is out of this world, too. Fun fact, but I caught an AMA on Reddit with him once and apart from discovering he's very funny, I'm still in shock upon finding out he's like 6'5, or something.

Ethereal is an excellent way to describe him. Very enchanting, especially live. Also, I had the same thought about him being in the Dune soundtrack!! He would fit it so perfectly, it pains me that he isn't more recognized. His song So It Goes live at Ancienne Belgique (the 10 min ver) was what really set that thought off for me, I'd definitely reccomend giving it a listen

Captions can be very helpful, SOMETIMES! When they accurately translate the words, they’re great, but they can be misleading, Ren, HIRen is a good example, the captions are very wrong. But translation captions when it’s a foreign language can definitely be useful, as in French or Chinese or Russian to English, if not exactly accurate, at least they give you an idea of what’s being sung.

It's been a while since I read about it but if I remember correctly this song is about his ex, back when they were only fifteen or so. They loved each other a lot and still do, but as you guessed they had to or decided to split up in spite of that.
