Cool! I totally have been there! Door was closed the day I went, but I knocked on the side door, and a nice fireman let me in to check out the sign. Fire houses in general are pretty cool places.

Most every building in NYC has a water tower. Seems old fashion, but supplying 11m people with water takes the help of gravity.

I was there back in June. The fire brigade sell unit patches and t-shirts to help there cause. Unfortunatly the door was shut when i was there but i will go back next time i´m in New York

Hey, AdamTheWoo, I just went to NYC two days ago (on 7/30/18) and did a filming locations vlog, visiting the firehouse as the last stop. The logo on the sidewalk has been updated, and the original sign from Ghostbusters II has been replaced by a wooden, painted sign. Great location, nonetheless.

Adam, is this the only NYC vlog you have? I was trying to backtrack through your vlog collection and can’t seem to find anything else. I’m always curious as to why you haven’t spent much time in the northeast (unless I just haven’t seen it).

I went there last week it's just all scaffolds you can't see the tower at all 😦

Driving in NYC is hands down easier than driving in almost any other city I've been to....and I've been in all of the major US cities. It's one big giant grid. It's literally impossible to get lost in. Yes, you have to be very a offensive driver, but after a few times it's like driving through the back roads of upstate NY.

Just need to correct... NYC' total population including the outer boroughs is approx. 8 mil . The island of Manhattan itself only contains about 1.6 mil. On a typical weekday (which includes workers and visitors) that figure may double or so. So, "almost 10 million people..." do not live on the island. Just sayin.
