@@minitwink16 yes!! Her entire body is in sync. The second one walks like it hurts. But there are ppl who “strut”, and then there are ones who “glide” or “float” and different walks in between. They are both good at what they do and non comparable
Yes exactly! That is what I wanted to say too. Thank you for pointing and writing that. Hip walk and shoulder walk are two different things like model runway walk and pageant walk is. Don’t get me wrong.. they are both beautiful and gorgeous powerful walks. It’s just don t agree that they are the same.
Yeah, they’re completely different. I mean to say that there’s a resemblance means that you think anyone who looks like that descent they all look like. Because they don’t. They look so different. It’s not even funny. They walk different. They have different different features, attitudes everything about them is completely different. Other than the fact that they might have the same skin tone.
The 1st model's walk is fluid like flowing water. She's elegant, has personality and isn't emaciated. The second model, as gorgeous as she is, stomps down the runaw. The 90's super models were the best!
My comment too. The second model walks very rough and uses her shoulders more, looks angry, instead of aloof/poker face. The elegance and mystery isn’t there.
Yasmeen Ghauri is something beyond than now or even in 90s. She gave the aliveness to the garments. No hate but she's incomparable ✨✨✨✨ She's the original "catwalk Queen"
second one is masculine, more people are culturally used to women being feminine around the world. hence majority prefers the first. but it simply is not fierce, very soft. cat vs lion in vibes.
Yasemeen ghaouri shoulders, arms (notice how her arms arent skinny?), her breathtaking waist... for me, she is not comparable to anyone, just as Naomi. One of a kind
Nope. Supermodel Yasmeen Ghauri sways like her hips are dislocated, but her shoulders are steady. It's all about the waist and hips. The other Yasmin stomps and is stiff. Unlike Ghauri, her shoulders aren't steady; moving up and down. Both are great walkers though. Very distinct. But nothing beats the 90's supermodel. Yasmeen Ghauri, Naomi Campbell and Shalom Harlow are the best walkers. While Linda Evangelista, who was called "the chameleon" and "the queen of supermodels" is the best in transformation and projection. Unlike most models nowadays, the 90's supermodels were all natural beauties.
Facts!!! It’s funny you mentioned Naomi Campbell, Yasmeen Ghauri and Shalom Harlow because I said the same thing the other day that these girls are the best walkers and I also agree on the fact that the 90’s supermodel were much better than today’s
Exactly 💯 right. Yasmeen is using her hips to flow, while keeping that "imaginary book" staying put on her head. The other one uses her shoulders and hips to swing and bounces up and down. That "book" is trashed..lol.
I’ve always thought thisss🙌🏻🙌🏻 Yasmeen Ghauri was ahead of her time, she in my opinion was the only model who could compete with Naomi they made the most iconic duo in the 90s and Yasmin wijnaldum is in her own lane away from the nepo babies and Instagram models.
I believe both models use their hips very well, but I believe Yasmeen's is way more gradual and fluid than Yasmin's, which is more powerful and rigid. I personally prefer Yasmeen's because of how smooth and connected she is, but both are great and eye catching walks!
Yasmin appears more aggressive in her walk and the way her hips are moving, whereas Yasmeen is subtle and gentle, gets her message across in a more feminine way..
There's nothing subtle and gentle about Yasmeen's walk, in fact it's quite over the top. Subtle is more like Naomi, which is fierce and sexy, but more casual and less "i'm on a runway walk".
Theyre both such significantly different walks. Yasmeen Ghauri has a smooth gliding movement to her hips, Wijnaldum snaps her hips and is very angular.
and so is Yasmin. Her walk is amazing and she actually has something different than the typical zombie walk you’d see regularly. Nobody said they were the exact same genius. They’re saying both of them have that strength in their catwalks…
The sensuality factor and simply the ease at drawing all eyes toward her and the clothes she’s advertising….I haven’t seen anything coming remotely close to this Goddess since I’d laid eyes on this brain and beauty combination from Canada, and I’ve noticed her and seen clips of hers from decades ago…. I couldn’t get enough - even seeing the reruns! What a stunning creature she is ❤
90s models had presence and a great walk. Collectively the best generation for super models. Todays models are just cute, nothing to show. Nepotism has ruined modeling. I enjoyed reading about models humble beginnings and how they were discovered. Today’s models are influencers and someone’s child.
Both are great; however, younger models studied Yasmeen style of walk. Her walk is one of a kind/unique, graceful, and can turn many heads. And too she is gorgeous.
Not even close! They have the same name and fierce runway walks, but uncanny resemblance? It’s like saying a Ferrari and a Lamborghini have an uncanny resemblance because they’re Italian sports cars that go fast! 😂
No. Mama is gorgeous, a truly natural beauty on the runway. Did I mention she is stunningly gorgeous and full of class? I don't believe Yasmin would have a career without that little tub called "nepotism". 🔥 Yasmeen By A Mile 🔥
BLASPHEMY! The face, the waistline, and the strut is very different. Ms. Wijnaldum walks as if she is rushing to go to the washroom , Ms. Ghauri is like a swan.
First one is cat walk, gentle, purring, soft and floating, feminine. Second one is a lion hunting it's prey. Glorious, masculine. It's not that hard to not belittle a woman for being masculine.
@@WoozyCool You are right. It speaks volume of this time we live in when men do not know of the power their masculinity, and women do not know of the power of their femininity. Sad.
I love both Yasmeen was one of the top3 of her time but Hadids & Kendall aren't allowing real talents get their recognition. And if not on top, you aren't getting the best dress or spots. Yasmeen used to get the best dresses
Well Yasmin Ghauri's greatest asset, other than her, beauty is brains (this is a very savy woman who put an emphasis on educating herself, not unlike Veronica Webb, they both should conduct lectures, sign me up! ) is the walk. A walk rhat was the cause of a birth defect. Jay Alexander talked about this on ANTM, about her spine, or hip bone being shoter than normal which gives her gait a swing, and a dipping of her waist, which then produces that hypnotic swaying of her hips. And i think she had THE smallest waist of all the models working when she was active on the catwalk.
yasmeen ghauri is a class apart.... one of the strongest best faces in fashion of all time....best body best walk best of everything... shes simply the classiest classic.... no comparision ever !!!
I can’t think of anyone, not just models either, with her unique body. Like these razor sharp square shoulders and such a teeeeny waist in proportion, I’ve always been fascinated by it
