The SA2 rival battle between Sonic and Shadow outright confirm that Sonic could probably use all the same chaos powers Shadow can, he just doesn't because....eh? Also watching this video made me realise that the Titan roars in Frontiers sound eerily similar to the titan roars in Attack On Titan. Or at least Knight does.

Guess cause it isn’t his style. Also lore is a mess regarding said powers, since Shadow can seemingly use those powers without having a Chaos Emerald.

So can Sonic, teleportation and energy manipulation are usable without Emeralds. Time travel is restricted to Emerald use, that and they empower existing abilities. But you are right that it isn't his style, instead he should be summoning tornadoes and rapidly regenerating from injuries, because those are abilities Canon to his personal skillset. Of course I'm just a nerd ranting about a blue hedgehog so take what I say with a grain of salt.

Chaos powers can only be used as super sonic and sonic’s never needed them

Control, Spear and Heal are things Sonic can canonically do without any Emeralds. He uses Control to teleport and Spear during the rival battle in SA2 and Heal is a basic skill he has from Sonic Battle. It's not shown but heavily implied that Sonic could also use Arrow, Lance, Blast and more, he just doesn't because reasons.

Not many people figure out you can just Cyloop when the boss uses the shield. Basically you can Cyloop em like any other enemy when they guard.

Good to know, I attempted for a sec but when I hit against something I figured I was wasting time and didn't bother going further out. Gonna have to try that.

or you can dodge while during a combo to get around the shield

@@lunchbox9742 there's also the quick-cyloop skill, which does the same as a actual cyloop and TOSSES him- But, yes, if he's not moving, and you do a tight enough circle you can do a normal cyloop around any boss -and it sends them FLYING

You can cycloop all the bosses for unique interactions, unfortunately I did NOT know this till after beating the game. Here’s hoping a future update lets us refight the bosses, I have heard this is confirmed because if so, I am so hyped to he able to apply all this stuff I never knew I could do before.

I actually never experienced the riding the shield bullet hell lol, I just dodged during combos to get around back, it’s awesome how there’s different ways to deal with the bosses

Yeah from the very beginning of the game I've been playing on hard but I did notice it also while editing the video. Which is leading me to believe maybe you get rings back in general if you pull off the QTE's cause I definitely was stressing when I saw like 65 rings left at one point and all a sudden I'm back at 76.

If you’re ring count is lower than 100 after a qte,it’ll do mercy and give you rings you’ll end up with 100 every time If you run out of rings in between the qtes well uhhh restart

Specifically in Knight (probably the same case with Wyvern, but doubtful) your rings recharge to 100 after certain events if it dips below than. Not the same case with Giganto that's for sure tho.

@@Handepsilon Plus Wyvern is the only boss you can actually collect rings during fight while moving around unless i'm forgetting something from the 4th (haven't edited that fight yet).

It was more so because of the missiles pushing me in every direction if you're talking about the riding part but if you're talking the part where you deflect in its direction, I was having a slow moment; probably too much Adrenaline lol
