@Aunestly I didn't find him weird.The whole time I wanted to hug Edmond and at the same time I know alot of men like him that I'm waay less sympathetic to which made me feel even worse. He was all the black men that don't fit the steortype fighting to belong.

Generational curse/trauma still exists. I think most blk ppl don't realize WE ARE CURRENTLY carrying the burden of our ancestors spiritually, feeling the pain and fear whenever we encounter racism and dispute, especially in the family. It's very haunting and sad, MAY YAH RESCUE US QUICKLY 😞

Personally, I liked the first season better but both were good.

Ruby explained why she gave them up. She didn’t want her children to experience the same generational curse that she and her family went through. Little did she know giving them away didn’t end it.

@@YagirlLia22 excuse me not sure why I said find out why ruby chose to give them up. More so want to see where her life was headed after giving them up and for her to directly have more dialogue with the characters. It’s a sad story line because know how the show goes even if Ruby didn’t make that decision or backtracked and saved them from the system the amount of psychological damage was already there.

PLUS! I-I just like the 90s. I was born in 1990 and experienced fears, happiness, love - all those emotions the first time in that decade. The nostalgia of the 90s with residuals of the late 80s being met with a twist of horror just feels right. Though I am fine with them going on into the 2000s provided the narrative makes sense. I just hope next season doesn't randomly go back to the past for whatever reason.

They technically did that in season one thats what I thought they were gonna dive into this season was still great tho

I think it's the demonic entity that cursed the family in the first season, the one that came as a boy in the one flashback episode. The cursed entities like the cheerleader, Tap Dance Man, the evil teacher ghost lady, and the Raggedy Edmond may all be one demon or multiple demons just taking shifts harassing the family bloodline. The curse is often trying to allure the family to do bad things like how the Tap Dance man tried to corrupt the dad or even how it corrupted that one pastor. So it's likely the demon(s) took advantage of Edmond's emotional state and kept corrupting him, so seeing the Raggedy Edmond and accepting him was the last step in corrupting Edmond. The demon(s) tried to do the same to the sister after taking her on an emotional rollercoaster in the last episode. As for the demon(s)' powers, they're entities not limited by our reality, so they probably have a lot of power.

He left out the part that the mom from season 1 was the victim of SA by a group of yt men …the photo at the end of season 2 reveals she had a baby as a result..that’s the biggest reveal of the show and might subsequently be a setup for season 3

@@iDewThis4Yu remember they k*lled the baby she had (Chester) I believe that was the remains she had (the bloody cloth the baby was wrapped in she took that with her) not the baby as a result of the SA we never knew she was pregnant in Season 1 (when they moved to LA). The baby in the picture is clearly biracial

Facts. I still havent finished the final episode of the FIRST season. That entire Season 1 was decent but way too heavy. I think this season suffers from the exact same problem. Looks good visually but the story itself was underdeveloped and all over the place

I truly don’t see how ppl feel the story was all over the place it made sense from beginning to end and had a good story with a good twist and it tied pretty well with the first season. Its original not copy and paste like a-lot of these tired horror movies/ tv shows
