Yo I really appreciate this. Jon Julio was one of my favorite skaters when I was growing up. "You can have her" with him skating in Hoax 3... that was my first video I ever watched and I'll never forget being so inspired. I'm so thankful to know the people I had so much respect for are still able to live their lives with rollerblading almost (if not) at center stage.

So rad to see Jon still carrying the torch. I stopped blading in 2001 but I still can't look at a handrail without thinking of doing a kind grind or topsoul down it.

Very admirable for someone like Jon to be so dedicated to something he is passionate about. Crazy to think that someone who has been doing this for so long is still doing it and still in business.

I swear on everything I love but the original design for the skate had a revit design on the cuff. So on instagram I messaged Jon about the potential for removing the cuffs to have to different colors and setups. Well he actually said "hold up a minute quick design change." That was fucking amazing to me cause I'm pretty sure no one had asked him that. Now you can definitely switch out your cuffs. That was years ago but I'll never forget that.

I'm just getting back into skating at 40 years old. I have two small daughters, and my oldest wants to learn how to skate. I will be buying a pair of them 909s to support Jon's business.

Jon inspired me and my friends so much in our teens back in the 90’s. His style was the best, we always tried to take little bits of his style and recreate it out on the street and parks. Those were the days. Brought a big smile to my face to stumble across this video. It’s been 20 years or so since I bladed. Just brought a new set! Here’s to it!

I was onboard and pre ordered the original 908s and im currently on 909s, so happy to see THEM doing well.

Dear Jon, I am 39 and grew up as the "aggressive" skate scene emerged and grew and remember getting your (and Randy's) autograph sometime in the late 90s at Woodward Skate Camp when I was in my teens. To this day I cannot look at a rail, ledge, or stairs without visualizing the endless possibilities on blades. I love watching your videos and am curious to know what the current market is in the inline world knowing how much has changed since the sport began. I wish you only the best and will look into your merchandise (this body cannot handle what it used to, amazed to see that you still skate regularly!).

Wonderful man. I don’t skate anymore but Jon has always been striving to keep the sport looking creative/smart/fashionable against all odds and when you’re on the outside looking in a and seeing the dedication to his work and the culture it’s really commendable.

Of all the people who have nut hangers in the industry, julio deserves it. Keep gettin those products out. Keep expanding the industry. KEEP THOSE ROYALTIES UP! ...and keep the coffee commin man!

I've looked up to Jon since I was a young kid, I'm so impressed with him to this day. What a true role model. Thank you Jon for all youve done for this guy.

i just got back into skating after a pretty long time off, and what I'm really enjoying now are the the life stories that are taking more of a center stage in videos like this. The tricks are amazing, but learning about everyone's journeys as they get older, develop, and mature as people is inspiring. It's very personal and you can understand a person more as you learn about their life and adversities. Fantastic video.

I used to roller skate back in 2012, and stuff like this made me feel super motivated to get a pair and get outside!
