Another take on the classic Halloween Theme originally composed by the amazing John Carpenter. I tried to capture a modern orchestral take of theme this time round, mainly to fulfil a personal desire of mine to hear what it would sound like. I did personally enjoy the orchestral take of John Ottman with H20, just felt the need to compose one a little darker. Sorry it came a little late for this years Halloween!

Love it. The higher sense of dread is the perfect backing for the driving structure of the main theme. Plus, I''m wearing headphones and it made the hairs in my ears tingle. lol.

There's something about orcastrated music that makes the original song much better. Nice job dude on the editing it sounded amazing. For my 16th birthday I may use this song. My birthday is a horror theme of people chasing us while we try to escape while doing tasks. So, this may be playing in the background...

I'm kinda late.. But as a gutiar player and metalhead, orcastrated music still one of my favorite genres in music, because it makes the musical piece sounds richhh.. I'm saying rich because they use the bass and violin and everything, it's full package

Absolutely haunting! What would you think about composing a joker theme? There are many out there, but none of them, I think, do the character justice to the version of him I have in my head. If anyone could compose a piece that would perfectly encase the dangerous, haunting, twisted, sociopathic nature of his mind, it would be you. Please consider! Great work as always, Joseph. I love the original theme by Carpenter (it’s hard to beat him!) but if there was a theme that just most represented Michael’s inner rage and lust for stalking and killing whoever stood in its way, it’s this theme alongside perhaps Trent Reznor’s version!

The mask pictured is the Halloween II mask. Incidentally, that would be the same mask as in Halloween 1978, but the replacement actor didn't fit the mask so it's just sort of stretched over his face the whole time. It was also poorly stored and starting to yellow.

This has got to be a dark and creepy orchestral rendition of the Halloween Theme (Micheal Myhers Theme) from the Halloween movies. Great job on this theme, It catches the apmospheric tone in the Halloween season.
