@@bush1701 There were plans to do it in the late 00s with Zac Efron as Jonny Quest and the Rock as Race Bannon. And then the Marvel movies happened, causing WB to shelf the project in favor of that horrible Green Lantern movie and the DCEU.
@@Bothrops_Asper_89 illll the casting choices you mention are AWFUL Efron was barley still a kid in the late 00s ( 22 years old in 09) & charismatic as he is the rock isn't race Bannon if they're so unimaginative as that regarding casting I have serious reservations about what sort of project would have ultimately appeared on screen calling itself Jonny Quest perhaps these people weren't the proper show runners to handle the project
I used to watch the original series when I was a kid and always thought the theme was catchy but this newer version is definitely well done and I love it.
The 90s was the Swan Song-era of Hanna-Barbera as a company. Scooby-Doo may have outlived it with more installments as a franchise, but for me, Jonny Quest is the one true, timeless classic, Hanna-Barbera IP that raised the bar for all action cartoons and more than deserves a comeback.
This along with Space Ghost, Herculoids, Gigantor, and The Impossibles are timeless classics in their own merits and worthy of a comeback. Scooby-Doo is getting overrated.
I mean actual use of guns and explosives and you knew that the bad guy was dead afterward...but you were still smart enough to know that it was just a cartoon. 8-)
I used to come back from school at 2 pm and this used to start at 2:30 pm IST. I didn't miss any episode. I'm 30 years old now and this theme song brings back my happy childhood memories.
I love this music very much... i remember the days of my childhood... Today i felt crying with happiness after listening this song.. it give me strength. .. ☺
Well, not quite, music has always done this, While I think this version of the intro to Johnny Quest is better than the others music wise the original is better story wise. Which was it’s purpose at the time. You got an idea of what was going on.
This, Batman the animated series, X-Men, Dragon Ball Z, Spiderman, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, + many many more, simply sums my wonderful wonderful childhood sat in front of a telly for hours at a time watching some of the best and greatest cartoons/programmes EVER made!! Simply amazing 💜
Respects all the way from India to the Creators of this one hell of a Masterpiece theme track ever.🔥 Took me right back to the childhood. Kids now a days wil not know what's the real stuff out there in Cartoons. Thank you so much for the extended version.
Nathan Norman I was just watching that episode, its the very first episode,I am yet to watch the old ones which are from 60s & 1986 Lol i still watch my childhood cartoons like Johnny Quest,SwatKats,Centurions, jetsons, along with some DBZ.
Listening to the music, Its remind my schooldays..!😉 One of my favorite show on Cartoon Network..!!(Johny quest,Swat cats, Johny bravo,Powerpuff girls, captain planet, courage the cowardly dog, scoopy doo, Popey the sailor man)😍😍 Dont know what happen..😢😢 Now Cartoon Network, spoils its name, with creepy shows..!!
I completely forgot I deleted the original video from my channel, so I re-uploaded this as soon as it was brought to my attention. And I hope you have a very happy birthday! PS: Don't forget, the full 1-hour extended version is available as a download link in the description!
One of my most favorite theme musics of the time and it still holds up even when it gets shadowed by more famous theme musics like Pokémon, Swat Kats and X-Men. Yet I like this one because it downright sets the mood right and tells you exactly what you can expect from this cartoon. It was a really exciting cartoon for me. Highly underrated show.
To hell what people say, this show was freaking AWESOME. ... I loved every minute of it and always will be a huge fan of the show.... looking back on it now yes the CGI was shitty ...... but at that time there was nothing like Questworld
This when cartoon network was cartoon network, now I donot know what this stale junk they are trying to pass off as cartoon network on t.v with all of these stale crappy driftwood programs they have currently.
It's like they're trying to dumb them down now. This made you think, see what vr could be like and this was years before it made a big splash. I'm raising my daughter in classic GOOD cartoons.
One show I would make would be an adult reboot/prequel, with a younger Benton, who forms a tense partnership-turned-friendship with Race. Basically Dr. Quest’s adventures before Jonny was born.
This song brings me back to my childhood memories,, I remember watching this cartoon and the intro today after more than 20 years after listened to this intro still chills my skin..
I'd always wished the theme song for this cartoon had been longer, hadn't occurred to me to just put it on repeat lol. But you did a terrific job mixing both ends together, seamless! This is such an amazing theme song! I enjoyed the cartoon too, tho the OG JQ was classic (and waaaay more violent lol). 🐧
1000 times better than any TV or cartoon series in the history of mankind, 500 times better than game of thrones soundtrack and 10 times better than soundtrack of Adventures of Tintin by Hergé
If WarnerMedia gave a greenlight to Japanese anime producers probably chose by J.C. Staff & Bones, the production that brought Shakugan no Shana & Captain Earth, they create an anime sci-fi version of that said cartoon. That features some of rebooted new storylines, original & new characters, suprising plot twists & overarching story behind the so called "Augmented Reality". To be available in English Dub via Funimation & the intro will be in an epic orchestra music w/ matching choirs.
