Haven’t kept up with it for a while, but as of last update Peter was the second best Doubles player. Guesstimating, I imagine he’s still probably second. But a smaller gap with Poppt than before

Drilling a hole in the head is still a practiced medial procedure, but it is done rarely. It is essentially done to help relieve swelling of the brain, but keep in mind that it is done much more specifically and with a clearer purpose than it was back in the day. Surely some people were saved in ancient history because of it, but many more likely did not need it. Same thing with "bleeding", it is still something that is done today for certain conditions (My girlfriend had way too much iron in her blood, had to go once a week to get some of her blood drained so her body could make more to dilute the iron), but not done just cause you're sick or have a fever.

It’s actually really simple the beak thing. There are many different divergent lines in evolution but birds and primates are not related. Bird came from the dinosaur species where as mammals today all came for rodent like creature form the same time as the dinosaurs. The mammals are roots and grasses that are tough to process so teeth were part of the evolutionary line as they helped break down the tougher grassy foods. As the Dino line turned to birds their size and feeding patterns changed to fit the new environment. With prey being too small to sustain larger predators all Dino species shrunk. As food became more scarce items such as fruits and nuts became the main source of nutrition. As most Dino’s (bipedal) had small arms with little to no function the evolution of beaks was one of convenience as it was better suited for eating these items. Simply put we are from two different species and our common ancestors are so far apart that the use of beaks was never in our evolutionary chain as we are omnivores and use teeth to consume many different foods where as birds are more niche oriented animals have specialized beaks for whatever they do eat.
