On the greyhound I have witnessed someone trying to purchase a baby, a midget kicked off the bus on the side of the interstate for smoking in the bathroom, and a lady overdose on a big bottle of pills. I haven’t even ridden much, but every time I do something unfathomable happens.

I was not feeling well and had to take a greyhound from Florida to TN, and sheesh big fat lady beside me bought a bucket of fried chicken on there eating it. I was like omg what have I done.

Stop over in Phoenix a little over 20yrs ago. Was like 2 or 3am and all these police went into the women's restroom and came out a few mins later with a baby someone had delivered in there, then tossed in a trash can. The police found the lady in the station, just waiting on her bus like nothing had happened.

My son is a musician and a chef. He rode a greyhound from Ohio to Florida when he got out of school. He claims he wrote ten songs on that ride about the people and his experiences.

Took a G.H. bus from Fresno to S. Lake Tahoe during a blizzard once. Should have been a 5 hour trip that took over 10. Thanks to that driver who got us there safely! 🌨 ❄ 😬👏

Craziest Greyhound Bus story that I rememeber, in my home province.. On 30 July 2008, Tim McLean, a carnival barker, was returning home to Winnipeg after working at a fair in Edmonton. He departed Edmonton on board Greyhound bus 1170 to Winnipeg, via the Yellowhead Highway through Saskatchewan. He sat at the rear, one row ahead of the toilet. At 6:55 p.m., the bus departed from a stop in Erickson, Manitoba, with a new passenger, Vince Li. Li, described as a tall man in his 40s, with a shaved head and sunglasses, originally sat near the front of the bus, but moved to sit next to McLean following a scheduled rest stop in Brandon. McLean "barely acknowledged" Li, then fell asleep against the window pane, headphones covering his ears. According to witnesses, McLean was sleeping with his headphones on when the man sitting next to him suddenly produced a large knife and began stabbing him in the neck and chest. After the attack began, the bus driver pulled to the side of the road, and he and all the other passengers fled the vehicle. The driver and two other men made an attempt to rescue McLean, but were chased away by Li, who slashed at them from behind the locked bus doors. Li ultimately decapitated McLean and displayed his severed head to those standing outside the bus through a window, then returned to McLean's body and began severing other parts and consuming some of McLean's flesh. Witnesses stated that this continued over the course over the next few hours.

I road on a greyhound once and I was asked by the driver at about 3 am for a knife to open the bathroom door to see if the one passenger od’ed in there.

Theo comes off as such a genuine and grounded, non-judgmental type of person at his core. I think people sub-consciously recognize that, and drop some of their natural defenses when talking to him. Who knew Tucker was so funny. Those two have good energy together.

I was on a greyhound from LA to Seattle in the back row taking a nap with my head against the window when somewhere like an hour past San Fran when the window I was resting my head on flew off on the frwy…I woke up from a drug induced nap with my body hanging halfway out of a greyhound bus on the frwy…good times.

Feel bad for the young people, greyhound and trailways were a great way to travel in the 60s and 70s clean, safe and steady. Our parents would put us one in Colorado never one concern.

I did 5 years in prison in Texas. They put me on a bus from Houston to Dallas. There was a girl who some guys had strung out on dope. Put her on the bus to somewhere. She went crazy. Out of control. Im a nervous wreck. Im just numb from head to toe and i had this crazy chick next to me. It was terrible. The driver kicked her off in the middle of Texas and i was one happy guy. I thought i just left crazy behind. Uggh!!!!
