New York based pianist Theo Hill paid us a visit during his tenure with The Mingus Big Band at London's Ronnie Scott's. We were delighted he accepted our invitation to play an extended solo piano take on 'I Love Music,' a piece popularised by the great Ahmad Jamal. It's one of the tunes on Theo's superb new release 'Promethean.' Theo also joined Ruth Fisher on Full Circle during the weekend to talk more about his music and the new album. You can convert the youtube video into an mp3 and once its on your device you have to do some shit in settings to allow spotify to play from local files then you can put it in play from any device that has that file saved.

I didn't like this rendition at first as Jamal's is so compelling but it grew on me. This guy is incredible in his own right.
