Nice video and thanks for sharing! My wife and I got our 10-week-old goldendoodle a week ago today! We love her and kinda hope that she stays this little forever!
I have a 8 year old golden doodle named Butter who has been my best friend for most of my childhood and my sisters couldn't ask for a better dog. ❤️❤️❤️
So sweet of you to ask! She's doing great. A little over 13 weeks old. Knows all her basic obedience and is quite the cuddler. I'm just so happy she's in my life
Congratulations! They are wonderful companions. In case it helps, I used the channel Kikopup to teach me how to train Theo and Delilah and I'm very grateful for the resource. ru-vid.com
God bless this most beautiful breed ever so gorgeous and v good dog and thanks to u mom and dad who r looking after them v well, they look happy and healthy 🐕🐕😇😇😘😘🙏🙏👍
Congratulations!!! They are the best. Have fun and take pictures/videos. I highly recommend the channel "Dog Training By Kikopup" for great training information. I used that channel and both my pups are so well behaved. ru-vid.com
@@gurpalsingh3695 They are both easy going but I've heard that many goldendoodles can be very high energy. Our vet techs are always amazed by how laidback mine are. If you a dog, I highly recommend teaching them how to settle. I used Dog Training by Kikopup's methods. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_2oeOUZ8kls.html Mine both enjoy playing and we have an intense play session every evening but for the most part they are happy to lay around watching the birds outside, chewing bones, and taking naps.
GA Fally Yes! They're very eager to please. I did reference the channel Kikupup a lot for training tutorials. They really thrive with positive reinforcement training.
I have a full size goodendoodle named winnie, and she looks a lot smaller than this. Its probably because she has straighter and shorter fur(idk why. We haven't ever cut it, and she doesn't shed at all), but she is almost 4 months old.
That sounds great. Less maintenance 😀 Winnie could also be smaller if she came from an English golden retriever line (they're shorter) instead of an American golden retriever line (taller).
Hi L B, tell you son he made a great choice, anyways it depends what breed he got because there are lots of miniature breeds that look the same as the standard breeds for the first few months, if he got the standard f1 those are the big ones
Amberxo25 Rhiannon yea me too but I also along with the Goldendoodle I would to have a labradoodle a Irishdoodle a aussiedoodle a cavapoo n lastly a cockapoo all together cuz all so cute and I can’t decide or pick to buy
Amberxo25 Rhiannon same girl and your soo lucky that you’re going to see the Goldendoodle pup on October and me I’m just gonna makes do by looking at poodle mix on instagram occasionally here and lastly seeing them in my area by the window walking along
Thank you! We could not have asked for a better pup, he is wonderful. Look up "apricot" goldendoodle, that might be the color you're after. We wanted an apricot coat too but could not pass up Theo's amazing personality.
I don't have a way to upload a picture, but here is a recent video of Theo with Delilah, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-D-R9W5GPs-Y.html Theo is the one who starts off not under the blanket.
All doodles will lighten up in color. They never get darker. So just know you are not getting the puppy color. Also depends on how much poodle they are.
Doodle Duo Thank you! I was wondering when you first brought Theo home did he act like he could hear you, or respond to squeaker toys? Because Ruby is acting like she can hear us. I’m just hoping it’s her adjusting and not her being deaf :(
Yes, both of our doodles (Theo and Delilah) responded to auditory stimuli from the beginning. Maybe try to sneak up behind her unnoticed and clap to see if she responds. Your vet can check her hearing using a BAER (brainstem auditory evoked response test) to check for you. www.doghearingtest.com/BAER.html
Training started at 8 weeks and he was fully house trained at 10.5 weeks. Delilah's training started when she was 6 weeks old and she only had 2 accidents in the house after we got her at 9 weeks.
@@angeladaniel2992 We have a bell hanging at the back door that we always rang before opening the door and then got super excited and gave them treats for pottying outside. I think both helped a lot and they still use the bell. Theo actually taught Delilah.
Aww, thanks! We actually groom him and Delilah ourselves. We use a 3 and 3/4 blade on his head and a 4 on his body but we pull up on the legs to keep them longer and trim many areas with scissors (face, tail, etc.) to create the style we want.
