I think people can be so easy to dismiss her, even to the extent of cancellation. Especially milking on her past controversies and scandals, like we all never had any at any point in our lives and never had the chance to just change. People act like people can’t change. Then (hopefully genuinely and I sense and pray that it is) her truly pursing a relationship with God through Christ, people will use that to dog on her too, saying grift to the next grift, now it’s a spiritual grift, I can understand as that DOES happen, but doesn’t mean everyone, but yeah people are just so quick to that, when we’ve ALL fallen short in the glory of God. Was super drawn to her in her early career - her prime - and even now and I thank God for His work in her, He is faithful to complete it despite how imperfect we are, He’s perfect! But also the goth kids were tougher than jocks or preps but I come from a city where everyone boxed or wrestled or worked hard , no pussies in my city in the 90s until ppl from Boston n NY moved in n thought they were tough n got their as beat by us portuguese ppl

The Jocks were too afraid to mess with the punks or goths because they took it to 11. “That’s a nice car your daddy bought you. Be a real shame if it caught on fire in the middle of the night.” Preps kind of kept to themselves sometimes hung with the jocks. Preps were kind of a protected group because they had the money to buy the drugs the goths, punks, and heads all sold.

Goths are those who wanted to be cool and popular but were mentally ill and or/ugly lol. The outfits and style were for the attention.
