God never gave His people a promise that if their children get baptized then they will end up getting saved. I say this with sincere humility, Jesus came to set a man against his father and a daughter against her mother (Read {Matthew 10:29-40}).

I agree with your comment. Jesus saves, not baptism. Rather baptism is the fruit of obedience of being saved I guess you can say. I was wondering how you would respond to certain believers assuming baptism as necessary for salvation by looking at Mark 16:16 and Acts 2:38. Taking the passage on its own, I can see where they might be coming from.
