"It is delusional to think your actions have had any consequence" has gotta be one of my new favorite Vader lines. It's so dismissive and also a little Anakin's angsty nature comes through.
I mean Vader does have a point though with that line too because it was really only a minor setback that he was able to patch up. It wasn't like they took down the whole base or anything lmao, this does show Cere being overconfident too which is something Vader took advantage of.
For those he didnt get it, the quick transition when cal shows up is him sensing her dead body with his ability, seeing everything we played through. In her last moments she seems to be able to connect with him and see him "in the future" or whatever way you want to put it, and seems to see trilla before dying. But Cal doesn't immediately show up after the fight if you were confused.
Cere dies and Cal is holding her and weeping while Theory says, “Yes, finally, we can move on, I didn’t really like that ending for Vader though” had me cracking up.😂 These streams were a blast! Filled with fun and laughs. Rick The Door Technician was a legend!🤣
@@darthdracul8372 He’s been a massive fan of Vader since he was a kid, Cere was introduced in fallen order, it’s completely normal for him to be more excited about Vader than Cere, not mentioning he’s one of the most iconic villain of all time. Also we knew Vader was going to kill her since, shocker, he is not dead in the movies, so yeah we were just waiting to see how Cere dies. Doesn’t mean he dislikes Cere, tbh I couldn’t think of a more badass way for her to go, but yeah.
and honestly, I love seeing vader almost bested in combat, he was never the best saber duelist in the first place so seeing capable duelists almost beat him is a reminder he's still just an egotistical, broken child underneath that scary persona
It's clear she has a true motivation to fight too, she knows that cal, marrin, greez,BD, the archives and the hidden path are all at stake so she is very focused. She also said she was preparing so she most likely trained and this was personal because of what he did to her and trilla
@@IssDiddy wdym he was never the best duelist? As Anakin? Agreed. As Vader he trained to be among the best and I would certainly rank him in that category. Only people who could truthfully and probably beat him based on what we've seen is Palpatine, Kenobi, maybe Yoda, and Luke (who only really won in Return of the Jedi due to the technicality that Vader was conflicted about fighting his son and thus not fully steeped in the Dark Side.)
@TheRebelOfChaos that last one about Luke doesn't make sense cause Luke was conflicted about not wanting to kill his father. So a little dipped in good vader vs a little dipped in dark Luke.
Im surprised Theory didnt like this fight. I thought it was satisfying to see Cere put up a fight after getting ragdolled by Vader in the first game. Shows her evolution. She wasnt scared even though she knows she is outmatched
@@thegoat2959 Fight and and "do damage" for the sake of gameplay, sure, but for him to be *so* fucked up in the cutscene is kinda eyerolling. Cere shouldn't have gotten that close to beating him.
I don't think this duel made Vader look weak. The opposite in fact. If Vader just instantly killed Cere I would have just assumed that she was still weak and would not have proved Vader's strength. Instead they showed Cere had fully immersed herself in the force while hiding, becoming a master and spending years preparing for this specific fight. In this scene we saw Vader fight a very powerful Jedi Master and WIN. To me this actually shows how strong he was becoming. I'd honestly be disappointed if a Jedi Master didn't put up a good fight.

People forget that Cere is a jedi master who has access to and tamed to the point where she had control over the dark side of the force within her. Which is probably what caught Vader off guard nonetheless she was still no match.
There is no controlling the dark side of the force tho, that's grey jedi bullshit. She overcame the dark side, she learned from the first game, hence her saying she let go of her fear. She was not using the dark side in this fight.

I absolutely love how they portray Vader in this series. Vader is toying with Cere only using his one-handed fighting style until she buries him in fire then he swaps to his two-handed style no longer holding back.
Obi wan was just toying with Anakin when they fought on mustafar, he finally decided to get serious and told anaking he had the high ground play time was over.
@@TruculentRuminavi Obi wan was fighting for his life on mustafar, he lasted that long because he had great defense and knew all Anakin's moves who would eventually won that fight but couldn't control his ego and emotions, that was his downfall, It is stated many times he was more powerful than anyone else cmon now
For those upset that Cere put up a good fight here’s my best explanation for this. 1. Let’s drop the whole “Vader is invincible” He isn’t. The main reason Vader overpowers his opponent is because they already fear him, fear of losing something or someone which he exploits and dominates those who faces him. That and because he’s an expert duelist and very powerful in the Force. 2. Cere is a literal Jedi Master who’s not some cannon fodder, but an experienced Jedi. 3. A Jedi with no fear is (In my opinion) the most dangerous thing to a Sith. This is b/c letting go of fear allows a Jedi to fully concentrate and let themselves follow the will of the force, making them more powerful as a result which is what Cere did. That is why fear is the Jedi’s worse enemy b/c it hinders and distracts them.
No ur dumb, Vader has killed countless Jedi masters in hiding after order 66 like they're nothing but cannon fodder. Cere is really no different. Vader is said to be 80% Palpatine's level, Cere should not be giving him this much of a fight. Thats bulls hit, I'm sorry
Vader "overpowers" his opponents because he's more powerful than they are, and a much better strategist. It's pretty simple. Fear plays a part, but even if they don't fear him, they still don't have a chance.
I think seeing Vader walk off at the end tired from fighting shows how he’s still “human” and is even MORE chilling to me. This is just one man. And he’s THIS evil and THIS full of hatred, the fact it’s achievable to be so nearly perfectly Sith is a miracle, and yet he’s not even truly Sith. We get a little glimpse of the Anakin deep inside him walking away from a battle like old times, yet he is absolutely not Anakin here. Maybe it’s scratching too deep for headcanon, but I like to think the nuance is there
The entire point of his character is that he's the chosen one you idiot, he shouldn't be beaten so bad by some random jedi master. He's stated to be like 80% Palpatine's power.

When Cere says "I've let go of my fear" I believe that means she was one with the force during this fight, similar to Kanan Jarus fight with grand inquisitor, which is why she was able to hold her own against vader.
I don't think it's that. Look at how Vader's moveset evolves through the fight - he wasn't taking her seriously for the first two stages, he was playing with his food. It's all slow lumbering strikes, but once she damages his armour he realizes she's stronger than he thought and actually puts effort in, so his moves get much quicker and harder to parry, with way more unlockables. But of course by that point his armour was damaged so he couldn't just smite her.

@@curiouspanda873 bruh, look at how his moveset changes as he realises he underestimated Cere. I'm not headcanoning anything, it's evident from what we're looking at. He might have had different reasons though, maybe he was hoping if he kept her alive long enough to talk and let her get overconfident she might reveal more about the Hidden Path. But it doesn't really matter. At the end of the day, Cere is a fully fledged Jedi Master likely even more powerful than Obi-Wan based on how she tore apart the Imperial infantry. She must be one of the only remaining Jedi who can give him something of a challenge.
@Tom S didn't he do this in Kenobi show? He uses one hand to play with him since he's been rusty then at the final episode he started using 2 hands as soon as kenobi began to regain his skills?
@@SarcyBoi41ell recall then end of the fight when he got serious. Though he won , after getting serious he still (literally) got pushed to his back foot. He toyed but she was still strong enough to fight with him and lose at his best. She had to be one with the force.
Theroy cant stand that there are people out there can can actually have a fight with Vader, “we all know Vader would kill her in 2 seconds” he just doesnt like cere as a character and cant accept that she is a strong jedi, but it doesnt matter vader still killed her and walked away

I don’t think Vader was too nerfed in this fight. Cere is an experienced Jedi Master who has let go of her fear as she stated. This makes her a match for Vader. I think it’s kinda dumb how people think Vader is some immortal god who can’t be touched. While I do agree that Cere was outmatched in this fight and that Vader definitely was holding back for a while, I like how Vader actually gets pretty hurt because even though he is the Chosen One and a powerful Sith Lord, he’s still a human who can be hurt. Those are just my thoughts.
People would rather see Vader portrayed as a god rather than have people that are the highest form of Jedi compete with him….. I truly don’t understand why.
I think people see Vader as Itachi somehow, but it's because of the way that the games, comics, movies portrayed him, but i hate to say it, both are overrated. If you knew Vader entire story...he catch L's every now and then
Him being within reach of standard jedi masters is just wrong though. He's awesome and likeable partly because he's an untouchable force of nature who can only be stopped by other legends of star wars. Characters like those should be in their own league, both to make them stand out, be more important, and in vaders case, sell the character as what they're supposed to be portrayed as. Vader isn't a jedi killer. He's hardly considerable as a hunter almost either. It's more fitting to call him the jedi genoicder. Jedi hunter is more of a inquisitor title. Vader being untouchable is one of his biggest appeals

She survived order 66, fought vader and lost but survived nearly being consumed by the dark side but overcoming it, spent 5 years on a planet strong with the force preparing for the eventuality of his arrival, and has since overcome her fear and anger for vader. Couldn't say the same about plenty of jedi, even some members of the council during the prequels. And besides even after all of Cere's experience and growth, vader still won anyway. If anything that makes Vader seem more powerful, defeating a jedi that had no fear. I dont see the need for some kind of club, and whats so wrong with adding characters to these "legends"?
I don’t like how theory looks at Vader as this invulnerable being I really liked how cere pushed Vader quite a bit yes we knew she was going to loose but this wasn’t an easy fight for him

I got hyped and got chills seeing vader again he’s one of my favorite characters and actually being able to fight him properly was amazing also that music
People forget that this is a video game. For all intents and purposes, we can basically say this fight lasted 15 seconds in-canon. Cere dodged a few attacks, then tried to bury Vader under the archives, Vader gets up and he kills her shortly after. It’s only drawn out because it’s a video game and they wanted to let us fight Vader since we didn’t get a proper boss fight in the last game.
We could also say that it was drawn out canonically just as it was in the game. You act like Cere beat him lol. The blow to the collective ego of Vader fans is kind of funny when, in the end, he still won the duel. You guys gotta get over yourselves.
@@Clown_Syndrome I agree because honestly, we don’t know how powerful Cere was. Obi wan lost his connection to the force after Revenge of the Sith, but in Kenobi he quickly regained his power and defeated Vader again. Who’s to say Cere (who had way more time to regain her strength) wasn’t a very powerful Jedi in her prime? Vader had many formidable opponents. Obi Wan (twice), Ahsoka, Galen, and Luke to name a few. Some may argue that it’s different because those characters are emotionally connected to him in some way, but the whole idea is that Vader and Anakin are separate characters in the same person. I don’t think it’s sacrilege anytime Vader struggles to best his opponent. The main thing is that he won, which let’s be honest, who expected him to lose? Also, people forget that this fight takes place in the middle of the Jedi archives which could be interfering with his dark side energy or something (idk).
@@KTLaughter I mean I agree in principle, but just one small correction. Vader and Anakin ARE separate characters, or at least he tries to be, but when he is around people and places that remind him of his past, Anakin comes out, which weakens his link to the Dark Side temporarily. At least in the first 5-10 years of his time as Vader. After that this tactic really doesn't work on him anymore other than with Luke, who's a special exception because...well...he's his son...who he's thought was dead all these years.
It's hard to write fights like this in video games, and also do the source material justice. Like Vader is one of the most powerful beings in the universe, but it's a game, and hes the enemy, so they gotta nerf him to a degree which is understandable. I still prefer how he was in Fallen Order, and you just run from him.

@@CojaGamez I mean Vader IS like at least 60% of why Star Wars is even any good to begin with and why people stuck with it, because he's such a well developed and likeable villain and anything he appears in immediately raises the stakes, so I get the fanboying. However, everything needing Jedi or Sith? That's actually been my complaint with Canon/Disney SW since Force Awakens. We need to get out of this Republic - Empire era with Anakin and Luke and move to other eras with other characters and not necessarily have Jedi or Sith involved (even as plot devices). But Disney knows that will never make them money because people love the Jedi and Sith so much (hard to blame them, but still.).
Honestly, this is how I think a serious fight between Vader and a fully trained Jedi knight _should_ go. He's powerful and very skilled, yes, but I don't like it when they present him as some unbeatable super being. What made him truly dangerous was having the backing of the entire Empire. A decent Jedi is still an opponent he has to take seriously - that's why they all had to go.
Do you have any idea what vader did to jedi knights and masters alike after order 66? He killed them like fodder, he was THE jedi killer. Cere should not have been a problem for him, he's the chosen one.
A knight shouldnt have any chance against Vader, hell even Jedi Masters like Luminara, Gallia and others on their level shouldnt beat Vader. It should be those like Mace, Yoda, Obi Wan. Cere is more on the lower end of Jedi Master.
@@Asiandiskool Yet Vader lost to Luke who only trained for a year and beat him using the dark side. If Luke beat him it means he either used the dark side which is what Cere is notorious for doing to in, or it means Luke won solely because he's Vader's son and has powerful blood which is honestly still lazy writing.
Yeah he gets there later, he just senses her death and they like connect through the force, kind of like a darker version of Rey and kylos force calls. That’s also why cal doesn’t go after Vader (or vice versa) the empire have already left

Agreed. Also, Vader himself showed up. That is the big hint she is a proper warrior. If she wasn’t worth it, he’d send an inquisitor to do the job, they fight the scraps and weaklings. Vader only personally arrives to hunt the big game, the masters and fighters. If he sent an inquisitor here, the invasion would’ve been for nothing because she would absolutely body a standard inquisitor.

Back in the old Dark Forces II game, there was a Dark Jedi that got cut in half at the waist, but his dark-side-fueled rage kept him alive. Literally, "Man Too Angry To Die." XD
What a boss Cere was. If it wasn't for Vader's plot armour. At the end of the day, she was the hero who almost beat him and he will be forever known throughout all the galaxy as a genocidal terrorist.
yo this fight was epic through and through. pleasant freaking surprise i didnt expect vader to walk through that door in the slightest. it was epic through the whole fight. it took me 4 tries 🤣
I think just like most of showings of it, this is Star Wars gassing vaapad. Mace was able to use it to take on sidious. You can tell she is tapping into the dark side because cal uses cere’s move set and animations when he does his dark side time slow. Story telling via gameplay I liked it a lot.
I see people saying Vader is underpowered in this fight but i don't see it that way. Vader acknowledges Cere has grown stronger, but several times in this fight he overpowers her with the Force. He probably could have killed her at any point easily using the Force based on what we see but he wants to break her so he doesn't use the Force to kill her until she gets too close at which point he redirects her strike to miss while stabbing her simultaneously. Also Vader is known for toying with his victims before killing them which actually gets him into trouble a few times in Star Wars canon. But i think that's a bit of Anakin's ego shining through, he has to prove he is the best. But his arrogance and need to prove himself often cause him to lose/almost lose fights just like Obi-wan repeatedly tried to warn him. There are so many nods to other things in Star Wars in this game and this fight to me really shows that although yes Vader is evil and terrifying, it's clearly Anakin in that suit. He's still there just under the surface but only Luke could see that and bring him back.
I think they should have allowed the player to play as Vader since the player naturally has Armour plot....let us as the inevitable Victor Vader in any boss fight with Vader for the future
Making Cere a difficult boss would've shown how much stronger she got without her doing so much damage to Vader. That said, we probably wouldn't have gotten the part where we play as her against the Imperial attack if the game did that.

If anyone thinks Vader is weak here, just noting that 1: Cere is at a level of Master, fully retuning herself to the force after putting her loss and anguish behind her. She fights for a purpose and does not let her emotions bind her like the first game 2: this is heavily hinted to take place after his fight with obi-wan, meaning he is coming off a hard defeatand will probably underestimate any opponent after walking away from that alive
@@gammelgaddan_jr870 it’s impossible to know. But the first game was only a few years after 66. I’m guessing like 6-8 years. So luke was a kid. In the Kenobi series luke was about 5-6. That would be the timing of the first game. This game, Luke is prob about to interact with old Ben. So this guy doesn’t know his shit

your reaction to Cere´s death and Cal´s grieveing is--- weird, to say the least. It is - quite emotional scene in general I think. A jedi who witnessed the death of his master - for a f***g second time (and it happened because of what Vader did - in both games it is a direct consequence of Vader´s action). Not only it is hearth wrenching, it is also enormously important when it comes to a character development too. but - yey, Cere is dead, we can finally move on. Poor Vader limped, that´s bad, didnt like it. C´mon. Do you actually get thrilled by anything else than the skywalker story line? just asking for a friend.
When he kills cere a part of anakin comes through, sith usually finish their enemies off in pure hate and no mercy, he walks away badly injured but he let her die in her own terms and even left cal alone. He let her die with honour
because she showed Vader , what she is capable of. Vader always looked for a worthy oponnent and he recognize that she was one of them. So he honoured and respected her ambitions, like she did everything in return. Even if she didn`t like Vader, but she respected him.
Vader just leaving without a final word or remark is just one of the most Vader moves. He doesn’t gloat, doesn’t brag, he just completed his task and left like a 9-5 worker.
I don't understand the whole, "Vader is invincible" thing. Vader has gotten bested by Obi-wan twice along with quite a few others. On top of that, he also did take a hit to the shoulder from an untrained Luke Skywalker in Empire Strikes Back, so for all you OT only heads out there, explain that please.
@@KingsBard Yes, but I also meant that Survivor took place in the same year as Kenobi, so there is a very good chance considering that Cere was in charge of the Path that Vader only learned about in Kenobi, that Survivor takes place right after the end of Kenobi, ergo Vader being in a pissy mood .
We already saw that in Obi wan It would be nice to see Vader's True Potential power in the comics a Unstoppable force so far we've seen him get beat by Obi Wan Ashoka even his Son and Now Cere when are we gonna See Vader slaughtering powerful Jedi Armies of troops

Why are people mad that he was excited about seing Vader kill Cere? She’s a likeable character and all but she’s far from iconic in Star Wars, especially next to Vader. So excitement wise that explains it. If you mean that he meat rides him powerscaling wise well not really, look how much she got destroyed in the last game, yeah she had a few years of training in between, but not nearly enough to scale her to the likes of Vader, sidious or Yoda. She put up a good fight and had him to take her seriously unlike last time. Plus we all knew she was going to die and he was going to win, because that’s the only way it could happen caconically. So when having all these things put together, it’s completely normal for theory to be more excited about Vader than Cere, we all knew he was going to win and judging by his portrayal in fallen order, expected him to mop the floor with her. At first I wasn't gonna bother to read all that but since you think you're smart I'm gonna take the time to address every idiotic point you made. First let's start with the "excited to see a character he has been a massive fan of" yeah no shit, almost everyone's a massive fan of Vader, including myself, we all get he's iconic and seeing him is gonna incite an excited reaction, but that's very different from cheering the death of a character or celebrating BECAUSE of that character even though every story beat up until that point does nothing to warrant the celebration of Ceres death. Questioning why people would be upset about Vader killing Cere is like questioning people why they would be upset when Anakin killed the younglings.. cause he's an evil villain killing innocent people lmao. When it comes to powerscaling he meat rides him in that department as well, considering the fact that Vader has been beaten by so many characters at this point that its laughable, all that power and he still loses to the likes of Boba Fett and Tarkin, and an Obi-Wan who hadn't trained in like 10 years 😭. Cere putting up a good fight and damaging him significantly isn't unrealistic if you remember that in the first game her force abilities were quite impressive. We are all already painfully aware that Vader would survive the fight and live on canonically, of course she was gonna die, but his reaction to her death is just weird.. that's the reaction you'd expect from a typical Vader meat rider though lol, celebrating the death of a good jedi because they refuse to believe anyone could give a challenge to Vader.. However you’re stretching a LOT when you say the likes of Boba or Tarkin beat him, they weren’t fair fights and it didn’t end well for them in both examples you mentioned, not at all the same situation Cere was in. If I manage to surprise the best mma fighter with a taser I wouldn’t say it’s the same as nearly beating him in the octogone. Obi-Wan is a completely different story and you know it, it’s been talked about for ages so I won’t even bother. Now lastly, on the Theory part, no I’m not meatgrinding him, he has a lot of takes i don’t agree with and I don’t watch most of his content. I don’t really care. I think you’re just being way too harsh on his reaction because of your hate boner for him, he wanted to see a badass scene of his favorite character, it’s not that deep. He wasn’t thinking about the moralities here, he is not celebrating his actions, he’s celebrating the character. When people saw Vader chopping down rebels in Rogue One, a lot of them cheered, because it was a cool and badass scene of the character they like, again, not that deep, why aren’t you getting mad at them « why are you happy, you’re celebrating the death of good hearted rebel »? Because that’s the argument you’re making here, and it’s a poor one. You don’t have to feel like he did during that scene, having different expectations or attachement to the characters is okay, that’s my point. Plus he wasn’t even that mad, he just made a few comments during the fight out of excitement and then at the end out of surprise it was that close. The reason I’m defending him is because your comment was unreasonable, plain and simple.
I always thought of Darth Vader as the Jason Voorhees of star wars. you can hurt him you can fight him but he will get up and always win especially when angry.

It makes sense cere put up a good fight she was a Jedi master during the clone wars and even had a padawan, cut herself off from the force, got ragdolled by Vader, and spent years honing the force so of course she’s gonna put up way more of a fight
You know, not everybody has the time to finish this game in a week, so just blatantly putting major spoiler content in your titles and thumbnail is kind of disrespectful... Why not do like a twitter post or something with the stream links of the playthrough and put timestamps for reactions and release the videos in like a month afterwards. I personally dont care about the spoilers since i wont be playing the game for myself but it would suck to get spoiled for something this cool since its supposed to be a out of nowhere hype entrance.

As many people mention when this complaint is levied, "stay away" if you're avoiding spoilers. But also if we're talking youtube, titles and thumbnails like that generate views. which generates money. oh no you had the very public and very popular property spoiled. wow. so sad. This is nothing new. I have never seen the movie step-brothers but I can tell you just about every major plot point because no one knows any other comedies apparent. I sleep like a baby.

As i said in my first comment, it would be as simple as to title the video "Theory Reacts - Jedi Survivor - Part 1, 2, 3" and you still can manage to create a click"baiting" thumbnail without actual spoiler content. And if that would affect his views and money generation on his secondary channel which doesnt have as much subs and views as his main anyways so much that it would be noticable in his income, id be amazed.
Honestly idk why people have a problem with the fight all through out vader still was ontop until the very end even with the books dropping on him. He stumbled for a few seconds then instantly was ok again thats fair to be like that once youre done fighting a foe. Bigger issue we never saw how powerful Cere was but she was going head to head with vader already in the first game and thats when she started becoming a force wielder once more. So here being this powerful training and what not for 5 years makes sense.she clearly practiced for vaders arrival plus she is a jedi master. People make the argument about anakin doing better or how vader would take out multiple jedi but most jedi didnt know him or understood how he fought. To me it makes sense that she focused on how he fought and prepared hard for the arrival since she knew it was going to eventually come down to a fight to the death one day. Vader wasnt weak during the fight and def was a harder enemy at times. He honestly wasnt even close to losing one way or another. And oddly enough he seemed ready for her to miss making me believe he used the force to move her blade just a few inches away. Idk he still won and it wasnt barely winning even if he got stabbed he wouldve went angry mode and destroyed her once she realized he doesnt seem phased or care. Great fight was a fun one glad they added it. Wouldve been cool seeing more animations of vader being brutal if you died while fighting
“This is dumb. We all know Vader would just kill her in two seconds.” True true. But he also likes to play with his food sometimes and give his enemy a little hope just so he can revel in squashing that hope again.
I hate how so many people are going all like “waah waah, vADer SHoULd hAVE KiIled HEr BY FARtiNG iN hEr GeNERAL DiRrecTion” Go take a hike for one, two can you really not just appreciate a fun fight when you’re given one? And go take a quick watch of Kenobi (and if the idea of that is too dreadful for some of you just listen here) Vader fucks around, and plays with his food, it wasn’t until 2nd phase where he was like “right, time to get to it then” and before you bring up the comics, yeah he’s a relentless killer that really wouldn’t fuck around because that’s just not what he does… until Kenobi, he’s not invincible or infallible, he uses the fact that he simply will never stop, and people’s fears against them or their fear of him to his great advantage to take them down, which Cere in this fight no longer has any fear and can properly go “sicko mode” as Kanan had in Rebels against the grand inquisitor, or being one with the force, whatever, with most of the Jedi and situations Vader is in, in comics he always uses their fear against them or something that angers them, but again, Cere went “Ha lol” to fear and the dark side within her
I'm kinda sad everyone thinks that vader was just toying with her. Sure I absolutely agree with that but you have to respect cere man. She ain't no anakin, Luke or ahsoka, yet she really died like a boss. And you can even see vader respecing her in that third phase fighting with two hand and acknowledging her power. Walking away damaged after he killed her. I was really rooting for cere. And I think people are really underestimating her. Vader isn't this invulnerable being. Sure cere was gonna lose but damn she put up a good fight
When I first heard that Cere nearly beat Vader I was pretty disappointed (I got it spoiled for me, although I didn’t know she died all I knew was she nearly beat him) so I was thinking she done something like in the Kenobi series just like Obi, he beats him and leaves him but when I played the game I was actually satisfied with the fight. To start off Cere died so yeah Vader did technically win even tho he was nearly bested by Cere but I think the reason why he nearly lost is because in Fallen Order Cere was literally nothing to Vader, he was toying with her, using one hand, back handing the ever living sh!t out of her and the only thing she done was break glass and put up a force barrier. So in Survivor Vader thought he could just easily kill her but what he didn’t realise is that she got stronger (I read another comment and they pointed out in the first half of the fight before Vader was buried under the debris, he was using one hand to fight essentially toying with her and then after the was buried he started using two hands and started actually trying.) so it makes sense that he almost lost because he didn’t expect that skill and power to come from her when literally 5 years earlier he smacked the sh!t out of her. TD;DR - Wasn’t impressed when I first heard Cere nearly beat Vader, when I played the game I was satisfied with the outcome because everything lined up.
I know cere is a black woman and y’all think that’s woke and horrible, but I don’t think her character was written to pander or anything like that. Home girl got bodied idk. I love theory but his racism is showing fs.
@@DegeneratesLikeYou She is powerful though. She was already a Master and spent the 5 years in between the games meditating and training after Vader bodied her the first time. She dropped a ceiling on him and he was fine, and then she still lost.
Star Wars Theory not only ruined this scene for me by posting this video, but he also ruined the Boba Fett encounter. I havent even gotten to it, just finished the Vader interaction. As soon as Cere stared at the door I knew it was going to be Vader because I saw this thumbnail a couple weeks back, Thanks SWT, next time do a spoiler warning or something, would of been nice to have a genuine reaction of my own with Vader/Anakin also being my favourite fictional character of all time.
This video is annoying, and so is the comment section. Vader isn’t this untouchable demigod of a sith. He’s an absolute powerhouse and easily one of the best fighters in his time, but he’s still just a sith. Cere was a Jedi knight BEFORE the purge, survived it, cut her connection to the force, and then rejoined it to fight again. She has more than earned her stripes as an incredible Jedi and at the very least somewhat close to Vader in skill. Just as well, Vader almost NEVER comes out unscathed in a serious fight with a Jedi master. THEY ARE DANGEROUS. EVEN TO HIM. Vader almost always takes major damage, and comes out on top only because his sheer hatred and connection to the dark side pulls him forward. This guy acting like Cere is some nobody is fucking stupid. She put up a fairly decent fight against Vader that didn’t even damage him all that much. I’m sure even Anakin had a little pinch of respect for her fighting so well. He delivered his finishing blow, stood, and limped away. It’s actually ridiculous to ridicule her like she’s a toddler holding a laser sword.
That's the typical fan boy behavior, right in textbook, incredibly biases, clouded mind, and judgment. it's annoying for someone like him who has deep understanding in Starwar to have a mind of a 6 years old when it comes to Vader.
Not surprised Theory didn’t feel anything when Cere died and complained that Vader didn’t just one-shot her. I completely disagree with Theory but eh what can you do, I still like watching the guys content, even if he BLATANTLY POSTS SPOILERS.
