We are the whole cosmos,we are everything(Ahum Brahmasmi) but like Sadhguru said we are contain in the karmic structure and nature has given individual experience to think you are separate entity. So how to experience oneness?? Answer is yoga,yoga means union,that is union between you(Atman) with God(parmatman). Evidently, he has no conceptual idea what Darwin's theory of evolution is. On top of that, he lacks basics of philosophy of science, evident from this lecture.

@@swatiyadav640 ACTUALLY, it can be both haha. Spirit is matter at the highest frequency, while matter is spirit at the lowest frequency. They are reflections of each other, but I say that spiritual evolution is the seed because consciousness is primary, it is what connects all of existence. We are mechanisms for consciousness to express itself, and it does so so beautifully in nature, regardless of our willing.

Actually, it was not Charles Darwin who proposed the Theory of Evolution, believe it or not. Charles Darwin made the concept of evolution scientifically plausible by asserting that natural selection was at it's core This process asserts that only individuals best suited to the enviornment are most likely to survive, and these individuals will pass on their genes. This process in which only the fit survive is called natural selection and is at the ❤ of evolution. Somehow, the name Herbert Spencer comes to the fore. May you enjoy tomorrow.

It is really fascinating when we compare these Avatars with Darwin's theory of evolution. There is absolutely some similarities with both the theories but I think most of it doesn't match.

Actually it's further before and around 50-60 thousands years ago that Shiva said this. But because modern science hadn't had yet found archeological evidence of Adiyogi existing past 12-13 thousands years. So we say it's 15 thousands years ago that it happened. (Thanks to Nathan)

The matsya Avatar of lord Vishnu happened in Sat yuga i.e more than 3million years ago since it was the longest of all. So, in a way this information should ever be there in every yuga, but when it comes to us i.e Kaliyuga it should have been transcended from Dwapar, that makes time 15000yrs as not incorrect, though could be up and down a bit

I wish I could study with you. I am a very loving person trapped in a world where nothing seems to make sense. @Mystic Editor that made me very curious. One day I have to get an personal impression of these Tempels. Most of his teachings expanded my perception and understanding a lot and his clarity makes one to trust in his words. But as you might notice I am still a lot on the intellectual questioning and understanding, which has its borders due to the impressions/memory’s I have gathered. Seems like I am still very much entangled with my physical form :)

There are some interesting, even amazing, similarities between modern science and ancient Hinduism. Hindus were very intelligent and observant. This is one example, the other is in Taittareeya Upanishad (First Space; from Space comes atmosphere, Vaayu; etc.) But this doesn't mean Hindus knew all about evolution. What Darwin did, make thousands of observations, connect the dots, come up with the theory, is not the same and cannot be dismissed as something already well known to Hindus. And 15,000 years ago? Not!

Dear Sadhguru, it's true that I love you. But this is the second time you said coming from monkey. We are not coming from monkey. We are far away cousins with chimpanzees. We only have %1.26 dna difference with them. Ten thousands year ago our ancestors and chimpanzees ancestors shared one common parent. Horses don't come from zebras, they shared ancestors. Yes, full consciousness has been present for well over 15,000 years. Humanity, learns and responds to consciouseness and it only takes a few to provide the necessary information to guide civilization. It is also important that man begin to understand exactly who we are. That too is known by a few. We are soon, perhaps a hundred years or less, to transition to a type 1 civilization.
