Nobody's brought this up so far, so I'll do it myself: Scrin's shields that can only be applied to vehicles are just like Empire's Point Defense Drones Subtitles in this video should automatically turn on for you. If it doesn't, know that they are available. You may use RU-vid's auto translate feature as well. (This is the first time I didn't embed subtitles into the video itself)
I kinda curious about magnetic harpoon. If apoc use it at small vehicle it pull vehicle toward apoc. While in larger apoc will drive toward it. Can terror drone or tesla trooper disrupt apoc while driving toward its target by this way ? ( And maybe in smaller vehicle getting pull toward it )
@@volknetai.3690 Terror drones do not disable attack, but I'm sure tesla can disable an apoc while it's harpooning. I think apocs can drag disabled units (which causes them to become re-enabled, but still trapped by apoc). You can test it out though.
What if they not really damage the timeline but time travel all along just ones in one timeline. Like how just they can they don't have own powerplant when Einstein got killed.
17:31, In Red Alert 3, the Emperor says that Tatsu was responsible for the Empire's new weapons. It would make sense to say that because Tatsu was the one to invite Yuri and use Yuri's knowledge to help them modernize the Empire's weaponry.
So bassicaly the reason why Empire uses such ridicilously looking units is because of utilized knowledge taken from alien artefact (tacitus). Love this idea.
This is why i subbed this channel, you're doing an amazing job and really love your C&C theory videos! Man, that theme song comparison was mind blowing 🤔
I'm curious as to whatever became of Yuri, either he got killed by Yuriko during some kind of experiment, or was executed/imprisoned by the Japanese when they found out that Yuri has his own goals in mind that didn't match that of the divine vision/destiny of the empire
It is interesting that the terror drone is not available insoviet campaign until tha last one which happend after soviet victory on mnt. Fuji and Japan become new soviet republic. It seems that in RA3 time line terror drones were invented by soviets using japanese technologies.
The name "Matsui" translates to "pine tree well". A tree well forms near a tree when a lot of snow falls, with less snow landing directly beneath the tree. When enough snow falls it becomes compact enough to walk on, but the snow directly beneath a tree is too loose to do so. It looks safe, but the moment you step on it you will fall in, which can be dangerous if you trip over and hit the tree, land head-first inside or hurt your ankles in some way. Yuriko's name references a tree well under a pine tree, so "Matsui" refers to a thing not being what it looks like. Makes you think.
Also fun fact Japanese do indeed exist in red alert 1 and red alert 2. "Japan attacked the United States naval base at Pearl Harbor during the 1940s, sparking the Pacific War, a war with the USA that ended in 1945, as a campaign of carpet bombing civilian targets which forced the Japanese to surrender. Japan presumably recovered quickly after the war. During Great World War II in self-defense, Japanese troops were deployed on the side of the Allies to mainland Asia against the USSR's expansion and aggressive occupation. Despite that, it was totally hopeless with the Soviets winning their own invasion of the Asian continent." This is from C&C central wikia
That's very intresting, definitely more than just a conspiracy theory. I always thought Sea Wings were a tribute to Japanese attack planes(much like those you could send via Support Powers), but they do resemble Stormriders the more you look at them. So much untapped potential there, too bad the series is not going anywhere.
RA3's Japan looks like Kodoha Japan rather than Toseiha in real life. I suppose instead of the failed coup attempt, a civil war broke out instead and the Kodoha wins and got rid of Tojo and co thanks to the time travel interference. The Sino-Japanese war never happens so the Chinese Civil Wars continues off camera, though in RA3 timeline this may devolve into a 3 or 4 way war with Puyi's Imperialists and some rogue warlords thrown into the mix. We never know what happens to China afterwards but possibilities abounds: The Nationalists under Chiang or maybe Li won the war and they remained completely neutral and signed non-aggression with Japan, The Communists win and either under Wang Ming join the Soviet's faction or remained neutral under Mao, Puyi managed to retake the crown and either remain neutral or join up with Japan, or some other pro-Japan warlord or generalissimo like Wang manage to defeat everyone and they are now under Japan.
Holy!!!!! This makes Much more sense than the story the devs initially presents to be Yuriko Lore. All the pieces start falling in their place. And we have Yuriko to thank for that. She really expanded the lore of the game a LOT!!
Also remember the fact that Iwo Jima Memorial exists in RA2 at the very first mission of Soviets, Which means That Japan did infact tried to fight against allied just like you said.
25:23 when you said "New WorId Order" I thought you going to bring up the Red Alert 3 Intro where Tim curry say (before going into the Time Machine) (I don't know the exact line) "a New WorId Order a waits" after someone said not using the Time Machine, but you didn't.
The Soviets wanted to create a "New World Order" where they rule, not knowing their time machine had been rigged to create a "New World Order" they Japanese Emperor had envisioned using the exact same words. Poetic.
Your insane conspiracy theory videos are the reason I subscribed, and that one just about tops them all. Right or wrong, these are insanely entertaining and I can't wait for the next one.
I was playing the game and noticed something regarding zelinsky. Let's look at when and how he betrays cherdenko. 1) in the soviet campaign, right before the commander is sent to the imperial palace. Maybe he was trying to divert the attention of the commander to cause a civil war in the soviet union and let the empire recover? The allies are nearly destroyed and the war would destroy the soviets. 2) in the allied campaign right after the high ranking imperial generals are defeated, and the soviet union was about to dominate the world, perhaps his betrayal was to divert the attention of the allies and cause a war between them and the soviets to let the empire recover in secret at the hands of prince tatsu? This is what happened in uprising. 3) in the imperial campaign, this doesn't make sense that the emperor wouldn't know, his son tatsu wouldn't keep such an important secret from his father, at least the time might make sense, it was after the attack on Santa Monica, the allies and soviets brought their best troops to fight the empire and this might have been a trap. There are two explanations I can think of why the empire didn't know of zelinsky. Both are far fetched. The first is tatsu and his father knew but acted surprised in front of everyone else to hide such an important secret. The other is that in the new timeline, they hadn't communicated with him yet, but this is very far fetched since he would have communicated with them as soon as he arrived.
Amazing observations! I do think the new timeline royalties didn't know Zelinsky because they never communicated with him. Dr. Shimada would have become Zelinsky's friend in both timelines, but it was only in the old timeline that the royalties got into the picture and exploited their friendship (to create the Empire). Their informant, instead of Zelinsky himself, would have contact the Japan of the past. So in the new timeline, because the Empire already exists, the Emperor had no idea who Zelinsky was.
@@xyhc-cnc I guess this means that zelinsky was loyal and the timing was bad? I don't really believe he was that loyal, otherwise he would not have betrayed the soviet union in at least 2 timelines including Canon, but who knows. Maybe he's a Japanese robot like Ackerman? BTW, do you think Ackerman is a prediction of trump?
The Emperor never knew anything about time travelling, because of how he reacted, when he heard what Zelinsky said. It was clearly not a fake reaction.
Another point that backs this up is that in kane's wrath there are epic units that are supposedly new technology. However this is only the case for nod and GDI, who knows how long scrin have had their eradicator hexapod for and in ra3 the only faction to have an epic unit is the empire.
in adition it's not obvious if the ko part fits and yuri is a russian name that slots well in japanese naming scheme that noone would notice then why wouldn't she be called that? it's not like anyone would bat an eye anyway asuming it's supposed to mean daughter of yuri it's basically a pun that only makes sense if you suspect yuris involved
This... This is why I love this channel! I'm working on what Is essentially a fanfic story for a post Soviet Victory post Yuri's Revenge, and the Yuri that was killed was a Yuri Clone, and the Real Yuri made other plans to either go back in time and alter history to somewhat resemble that of his original timeline (Tiberium), or plans to launch a world altering missile filled with liquid Tiberium and bring about a world in his creator's vision, but is stopped by what little remains of the now "Allied Resistance", but the world would still be effected a little by the now released Tiberium. Still working Yuri's plan out. Yuri had so many clones.
@@xyhc-cnc Me too! hands up! Even in my comic I'm making, those events were playing up exactly as you said: what happened to Yuri after RA2, why was the Empire's tech so different to the Allies and the Soviets, and why were they the only ones who had interest in Psionics.
10:53 lmao, nice find! But I thought Yuri's theme wasn't Drok (YR's menu), but the YR credits (don't recall the name). Didn't you find anything better than something from Clash of Clans? 11:18 wasted opportunity to put in Atreides, Harkonnen, and, of course, House Ordos.
Shoot I didn't knew you were gonna make this a part 2 and I just discovered it 😭 Also yow the music really match Yuri and Yuriko theme I want the full version of it!
Regarding Zelinsky, I have theory that Dr. Zelinsky might never die in any timeline. Instead, he did travel back in time from each timeline until he got the final one (Allied ending). I guess the first timeline is soviet campaign. If you start play the campaign mode, game will force you to play as soviet first. It might because this is the first timeline. During soviet campaign, Dr. Zelinsky disappeared after he had warned us about Cherdenko. Dasha informed us that Dr. Zelinsky might be killed by the premier. However, I have theory that Dr. Zelinsky could have escape from this timeline after he had known about Cherdenko's scheme to betray us (he might have already believed that we would not have survived too). After he gave up soviet's timeline, he moved to empire's timeline. In this timeline, I guess Zelinsky might have contacted with Dr Shimada secretly to balance power between soviet and empire. His purpose could try decrease Cherdenko influence because he learned from previous timeline that Cherdenko is too dangerous. However, Dr Zelinsky didn't know that President Akkerman is empire's robotic spy. Thus, empire became stronger faster than he thought. At the end of mission, Dr Zelinsky yelled "it was my mistake" before exploding with chronosphere aura. Could it mean he succeed escaping from this timeline at the end? Final timeline must be Allied campaign, now Dr Zelinsky did not repeat his "mistake" again. He waited until President Ackerman dead, then show up to us after he sure empire defeated. I don't think Dr Zelinsky help allied because he like allied or because allied won in old timeline. I think he help allied because Cherdenko is power hunger. Cherdenko would definitely use time machine again and again until he is satisfied (which will never happen for this mad man). Empire is not different. Dr Zelinsky's purpose is to prevent anyone to use his time machine again So, allied is the best choice for him.
Utterly fascinating! As thin the evidence might be at times, I definitely think you're on to something. Not in a hundred playthroughs would I have suspected there's this much lore written in between the (time)lines. If by some miracle they made a new RA, how do you think they'll pick up the story again, any loose ends they'll tie up?
They'd most likely abandon the RA3 story given how the fanbase has forced them into playing safe. Even if the RA3 story was followed, there's no way they'd go with whatever story direction the original writers had, if such ideas can be retrieved in the first place.
3:49 What if the surname change, that is referred to in the text, refers to "Omega" instead of "Matui" , though? Just because it is labelled as a SURNAME change, I do not nescessarily think of it being not "Omega" since there are quite some people, who take every name behind your first name as a surname, regardless of code-, artificial or natural time. I dunno pal, I have doubts.
Omega is way too obviously not a surname. Like, who'd think a Japanese lady's real last name is actually "Omega"? Hence, I think the surname they were referring to is whatever surname Yuri had, which got changed into "Matsui".
@@xyhc-cnc This is semantics most and foremost. What is a "surname" actually? A name behind the name that describes you to further clasificate your existance into a certain affiliation? Then "Omega" counts as well. The thing is: I don't see a reason to believe otherwise, since the text you presented didn't explicitly say "Japanese" surname but just "surname".
@@xyhc-cnc btw, do you know about the youtube-channel "No strings prd" ? If you are this interested in deeper glimpses at the lore you could be interested to see the vid ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZmP__MTS8PQ.html of him as well. It's also thought- inducing. Personally, I like his take about the time travel in C&C the most.
I know this video is old, but I have some doubts about the last claim. Why didn't the informant share about the time travel fact to this new Japan? The only explanation I could think of is that the informant is under a mission to execute a plan from the RA2 Japan and must not reveal this fact at any cost. Or perhaps there is a cultural piece like the idea of honor that I am missing? How did this informant get RA3 Japan timeline to believe any information? Example. Revealing that Psycic research is important would rely on RA2 timeline evidence given to the emperor before WW2 (at least to recruit Yuri + Pearl Harbor). Perhaps this informant starts at the lowest rank in Japan's miltary quickly rising to the very top (using RA2 knowledge to get very good results/success) all secretly to ensure the success of his mission?
Man those clips of RaIos make me remember vague memories of playing it while i was young and also vaguely remembering a android port of it Great vid & theory! Perfect for falling in a rabbit hole at 2am
Dr. Thrax: Well done, General. Let's see if Yuriko can persuade the local allied forces to join our cause. Yuriko Omega: Konnichiwa! Be one with Yuri! (Yuri mind controlling the allied forces) Yuri: *Be one with yuri* 😈
OK so Yuri back in 1930 or 1940 plus the secret informant plus some secret of the tacitus all given to an ww2 Japan empire equal Ra3 empire of the rising sun. Seem logical.
Also Steel Ronins(?) are said to be the ones who betrayed empire and locked in a steel suit where they cannot die. Anithing familiar? Yes, Marked basic infantries. They are also locked in a suit, but they didn't betray NOD, they were revived. And again RA and the cuts ceně where Yuri says, that Soviet medicine has evolved to the level where they can revire deads. (I didn't play on English, sorry for incorrect names)
What's more intriguing for me in CNC lore is how FutureTech relates to General Leang. The Red Alert series is somehow connected to the Tiberium series thanks to Kane helping Stalin win the Allied/Soviet conflict and then taking over the Soviet Union with a bit of deadly tea. I definitely wrote in some comment section (I think the vid I commented on was about the FutureTech campaign of RA3 Uprising), and it said something like the Player having a..."discussion" (insert sensual music here) with the FutureTech woman and having Leang as daughter. Then Leang was born and raised in China because she's very safe there from Allied wrath since China is so opaque to the world. Being the daughter of FutureTech people, Leang emphasized the advantages of using other factions' weaponry to help China win, and she got her way because FutureTech helped the Chinese military advance in tech amid the once-again rising tensions between the Allied, Japs and Soviets. If this theory is true, then we now have a way to connect the Red Alert and Generals universes. P.S.: You cannot tell me the Commander's Challenge isn't the FutureTech campaign.
THEORY : Imagine you have a key , but in order to have that key , at one point and at a given point in the past or in the future you must go and make sure you get the key . The allies and the Soviets have merged their time lines ( Now they fight with us against the traitor Yuri ) But also Yuri himself found and used that little device in San Francisco after both Allied and Soviet used it since all 3 timelines merged , Yuri himself was only captured by the Allies , but because Yuri already time traveled , a broken Time Machine was found by The Soviets because of Zofia and the coward assigned Cherdenko this top secret project . So , since Einstein Lab was destroyed , how did he made them invincible ? While the world leaders where having a war , the scientific community made both Soviet and Allies strong by working together for science . Einstein Zelensky and Shirada was working together shared ideas and one day Einstein rebuild the Weather Control Device and the Soviets where defeated leaving Cherdenko and Krukof to use the Time Machine . In the chaos Yuri managed to escape Captivity and flee to Japan however since he is a time traveler as well the time machine allowed him to be transported and breed Yuriko
In the past, there was a civil war between the Soviets and the provisional government. Maybe Yuri sided with the provisional government instead of Stalin. And when it collapsed, he went to Japan for shelter.
My head cannon is that Yuri escaped the Dino at the end of the Soviet YR campaign, returned back in time before the war, waited 10 more years to get ready and start it in 1982 and then the whole Mental Omega fiasco started.
EA should give u a raise or smth Also yuri is the christ that they r depicting she has 12 strands of dna that's why they try to brainwash her bcz when she got woke she actived her pineal gland and she had an active kundalini fire if she had those activated she can destroy the empire and the illusion of this world Nice research keep it up u deserve more subs also i rlly like playstyle with the Japan faction
Off topic to the video, but still repated to theories made by XYHC. I've been thinking recently and a hypothesis popped into my head. I think that Kand helped Einstein create his time machine. As to why, my guess is that post-WWII world order got too much in the way of his plans. So, he instructed Einstein on how to use Tiberium to build a time machine, and remove Hitler out of the equation.
... Actually, not having no nukes be the reason for empire of rising sun makes me pretty happy. Like, the Americans had already basically crippled the Japanese military, and there is actually some argument to be made, that surrendering to a power not interested in taking their land and preventing the Soviets from taking bits of the home islands. So having just the balance of power be different due to no time travel Einstein makes sense.
Someone else in some old comment threads gave a way better argument against the nuke theory, but a lot of old comments on my videos have disappeared :( Let's hope that person is watching this video and offers his explanation again.
It was really interesting knowing how Japan rose to become the Empire of The Rising Sun. Too bad they got totally rekt by the Allied Armed Forces tho😏😏🤑🤑🤑🤑
oh boy, these theories are getting more and more batshit as time passes, I'm expecting Nod to pop up any minute. EDIT: of course they did, it wouldn't be a command and conquer theory without Nod.
as for the part where you can take over Izumi's troops, that can be explained in 3 ways: one explanation is your explanation, according to it the ninjas weren't mind controlled and thats how you managed to take them over. its not the only explanation though- if we assume that this kind of mind control needs to be maintained its possible that ninjas were already mind controlled by Izumi but you managed to break her hold because your powers were superior. if we assume that this ability just alters a person's way of thinking once, basically just re-programs them once and then the person follows your commands "willingly", without any more need to use your powers on them then yuriko could have re-re-programmed those ninjas.
foehn faction color: cyan (blue) allies faction color: blue foehn's origin happened after hamartia and foehn is helped by Pacific fount and the council of foehn revolt consists of tanya, yunru, rashidi and general carville coincident? I think not wait the minute does kane plan all these to happen
This a from a mod unrelated to this video aside from both being related to red alert. Yes they are partially made from the remnants of allied forces. This is explicitly shown in the mental omega camapign.
i wanted to say that doesnt ra2 play in the 70/80's and the tiberian dawn in 1995, so can thye have the tacitus. but then i remembered that kane at the end of ra1 soviet already knew they would rise in the 90's, so he probable alreayd had the tacitus, in 1950
@@xyhc-cnc I have the Tacitus. I am invincible. The Tacitus told me of Tiberium missiles, of invulnerable flying ships, of real-time genetic mutation. More than alien. More than human! The next step in our evolution as a species! - kane, so if he send yuri back in time and yuri knew of scrin tech to make his units, he must have had the tactirus when he send yuri back in time, as he learned the tech stuff from the tacitus, he says so himself,. thats what i mean with it
