Honestly... Boss exclusive surprise Z-Move sounds like such a cool WTF moment!

Paris is nicknamed La-ville-Lumière which means "The City of Lights", thus I wouldn't exclude the invasion of all "numbered" Ultra Beasts from Necrozma up to Stakataka throughout Lumiose City. However, the "Raging Aliens" could be more controllable if we were to use Mega Evolutions against them due to the fact that aura is the main operator force of both Mega Evolutions and Z-Moves.

Idea for who the “volo” character will be an ancestor of: COLRESS. 1. Colress appears in alola studying the z moves and anomalies. 2. Colress specializes in bringing out the potential in pokémon, which is mega evolution and will be in the main plot of this game. 3. (bit of a stretch) Colress has that weird blue thing around his head. Maybe it’s what remains on his body of his ultra megalopolis heritage and bloodline from this necrozma worshiping ancestor?

I started watching the video, then suddenly I get jump scared with a bunch of cool ideas from the past videos that I skipped and I was like "Hold on man, I'm missing the lore!!!". I can't be missing these videos they're too good man.

If this actually happened, they would need to do something different come time for alola. My idea is a legends Tapu game that features the Tapus (and maybe a new one) turning against the region for whatever reason and causing chaos. After you defeat them all, they fuse into their z move form and have a kaiju boss fight

Haven’t watched the video yet but I’ll say this: I theorized we’d get a Zygarde centric game when they added him to Pokemon Go; and If Necrozma is also centric, remember that they’ve added the fusion mechanic to Pokemon Go which sets a framework for it to be used for more than just Kyurem and Necrozma (and of course Necrozma is coming to Go Fest this year so.. maybe we see some connection established between the games like with Lets go).

This literally just made me realize that Z-crystals.... 'Z', as in Legends ZA. The connection is deep between alola and kalos

Cool theory, thought i honestly think and would want Legends ZA's story and post game to mainly focus on Kalos lore and worldbuilding especially with Kalos being so empty to alot of people. They could use this to really dig deep into Kalos story and history, i could still see there being some ties to Alola that not as a main focus. I would still love to see new ultra beasts in this game possibly as a big side quest.

This just makes so much sense, the fact that there's a tower in the middle of Lumiose City just like the one in the Megalopolis where you fight ultra Necrozma, plus the power outage in Lumiose serving as a foreshadowing of Necrozma in general absorbing all the light and where other for Necrozma to go for more power than the Pokemon World equivalent of THE CITY OF LIGHTS , this is insane!!!!

7:10 I think that actually fits with what Legends Arceus did, with the nobles fought in the main story all being new Hisuian Pokémon, and the postgame having you battle the legendaries from the original Diamond and Pearl to collect all the remaining plates the nobles didn’t have

This idea sounds dope but I feel it’s bleeding in to much from alola. We barely got anything for zygarde in the region it was from so I feel it’s best to focus on the lore surrounding it and the other 2. Along with a new potential A legendary so they don’t over complicate things in Kalos lore.

Wonder what the starters will be can't wait to find out hopefully soon

When you look at the "A" in Z-A, I think it actually looks closer to the upper case symbol for the Greek letter Lambda. We have alpha, omega and delta in the sapphire ruby games, so perhaps it's something?

Like in the case ZA is not about ultrabeasts, one of the Boss or noble pokemon equivalent could be a thing. Honestly its about as crazy as my theory that eternatus is Gonna be in tge game and the Zygarde cells sort of flesh it out.

i made a theory a while back that Legends Arceus features the DP protagonist basically "fixing" history so that Platinum's events play out instead of DP's.. and your idea here sounds like altering history so that USUM can happen instead of Sun & Moon.. what if the player character in Z-A is Elio/Selene?

I genuinely think colress will be in the game regardless of when it takes place purely because of the weird blue logo in the trailer which I’m assuming is our Z-A equivalent to the Galaxy Corp Colress can also literally send people into alternate timelines and send them back, he was also said to have BEEN in kalos through an NPC and that he was possibly studying mega evolution, it wouldn’t be crazy if colress sent himself to whatever time Z-A is set in to investigate a certain phenomenon (since he isn’t bound by morals because of his science) and we meet him and learn about kalos’ past as well as get some clarity possibly on the Unova lore

There 11 ultra beasts but looking at the map, you have room for 13 Pokémon. There are 8 sections which can be mini bosses. 5 spots that can be boss battles which means you can have the kalos legendries to make a total of 13. Which then leads up to a new legendary for the final boss. The theory checks out.

Instead of a random barren land, I would love the base of the lumiose tower before it’s constructed so still barren however having the lumiose tower being built on the same ground necrozma was beat, would be a good contrast of replacing the pillager of light with a beacon of light as I believe the tower lit up brightly for all of lumiose

i really like this ideia but i still think this game will be more focused on the whole mega evolution and try to come up with something to relate xerneas and yvetal with the creation of mega evolution but all the necrozma and the ultra beasts could come up to a legends alola i think the whole why is zygarde on alola is just a "we fucked up and we didnt make pokemon z, so we are making zygarde history on alola"

You said Necrozma should be in a low location to contrast with Volo taking you a high location, the Temple of Sinnoh? *THE CATACOMBS* and plus, the “necro” in Necrozma means death

Instead of inventing some sort of weakness, it could be a type of edible food item or something along that line that weakens the ultra beast that allows you to take them down

i really want a gen 7 legends game eventually (we probably will some time in the future due to legends probably going to be pretty big for awhile)

I would say if we have all of the UBs returning then Nihilego, the bugs, and Guzzlord stay "postgame" with the other 5 being in the city while Poipole/Naganadel are from the researcher/Recon member. Rather than a signature z-move (), imagine if it doesn't become Ultra Necrozma but something similar to Zygarde Complete to then confirm that theory with it's body being the same green as the Ultimate Weapon.

If they ever do make a Legends Alola game, I could see the final boss that's akin to Volo being either Giovanni of Team Rainbow Rocket or the Ghetsis that was recruited into Team Rainbow Rocket, but transported away by Colress. Perhaps Colress sent AU Ghetsis to the past by accident and he's the one who attacked Ultra Necrozma, leading to the world that would house Ultra Megaopolis losing their world's light.

i also thought of two scenarios for the game to add alola or ultra beasts. These scenarios i am making are based on future rather than past. 1. We start the game in Kalos of what is now, but the Alpha legendary beast is the reason lumiose city much less the much more area was destroyed even the habitat of pokemons, thats why redevelopment plan comes in to make city bigger and add safe zones for pokemon too. Well somehow zygarde was able to push Alpha ultra beast back but he went to alola to recover. 2 ways it works either city was already built or is building right now which i think is building right now makes much more sense cause we should be part of rebuilding atleast thats what the games points to. After building the city we are looking for zygrade but we only find 50% of it. In 2nd part of the game we find it's 50% is in alola looking for the alpha ultra beast and we go to alola too in 2nd part. 2. My second scenario is actually the same but we don't go alola and the Alpha ultra beast after recovering strikes again but this time we are helping zygrade to protect Kalos.

It would be a good excuse to give ultra beasts more facetime. But… Necrozma being in Kalos? 🙂‍↔️

I don't know, giving Necrozma extra forms and important plot points like this feels like it would overshadow the point of it being Zygarde focused. However if there's two separate stories for both that would be interesting so both games get a good amount of representation

What if instead of someone from ultra megalopolis being the volo, its lusamines ancestor. The ultra recon squad can still come at the end and all that for necrozma. Itd just be an earth scientist that gives you the necrozma info they learned from alola instead

I would love this so much cause the ultra beasts are my favourite group of legendary/special pokemon, i would die for any new ultra beasts, but i feel this much would need to be its own ultra beast themed game. A legends alola game thats not focused on Solgaleo and Lunala and not entirely about necrozma, but primarily about ultra beasts in general, man it would be so good

The only complication I see with the alola kalos crossover sort of deal with necrozma, is that if the z crystals are part of necrozma and power him up or whatever, then how will that clash with mega evolution and how will all that work gameplay wise? I doubt you’ll be able to use Z moves and Mega

I think that the main story is about developing (or redeveloping) Lumiose city. The Ultra Beast will probably appear in the post game only. Based on an old leak, I think Kalos was supposed to have extraterrestrial aspects. That's why Lysandre and the five scientists have weird headgear. The theme of Kalos is beauty, which is tied to Lysandre wanting to reset Kalos for he felt the world was cruel and ugly. I think Gamefreak will make a slight twist and make the true antagonist associated with Lusamine though as her motivations in Sun and Moon are similar. While much of what TTar said will likely come to fruition, we all must remember that Pokemon is made for a wide audience and they wouldn't make the plot too complicated.

Don't get me wrong, it's a very nice theory, but I feel like this could be good for a Legends Alola game rather than Kalos because Alola Shouldn’t be the main focus of the story with the title being called "Legends Z-A." It doesn't really scream Kalos or feeling like we're returning to Kalos other than being in Lumiose City and the return of Mega Evolution with Kalos feeling so unexplored and empty back then

I think this would be a good after story event like after you beat the main game. I still think the main story would have to do with the weapon and you stop it from doing more damage with Zygarde. After this then your UB theory would pop in. Minus the z move lol because realistically Gamefreak could never😅
