THEORY: Willy Wonka Created the Oompa Loompas 

I’m surprised that you didn’t mention the cotton candy sheep that were seen after leaving the fudge mountain room. Clearly Wonka created genetically engineered sheep to produce and harvest naturally grown candy wool. When the tour group saw them, Wonka was prepared to talk about them enthusiastically but then we cut to a close up shot of the cotton candy being shaved off the sheep, implying that Willy Wonka is realizing what the guests are witnessing and wondering about. Then, he immediately steps back and chooses to not explain it to them. Why did he do that? What could be so wrong about shaving sheep? Sure it’s genetically engineered, but that shouldn’t be surprising since he created living chocolate birds and candy biomes. So, Theorizer, I have to ask. I had a nightmare once about Willy Wonka and oh boy was it something. His Oompa Loompas were these weird gingerbread reptile creatures (dreams are weird) from failed experiments that he used to pick off all the characters he invited to his factory.

I was wondering about the chocolate birds just a few days ago. It seems super insanitary for Joe to hach an egg in his mouth. now it turns out they were only phase one to creating his own fldsmdfr from cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2. He's creating not only chocolate birds and chocolate plants, he is creating an entire candy ecosystem. Those bugs are probably gushers candy.

Remember when the children first enter the factory grounds and they're greeted with singing animatronic dolls? I've always wondered if Wonka wanted to create his own heir and these dolls were his first experiments, and his Oompa Loompas were his last experiments, it can't be merely coincidence both sing in front of guests.

Okay but this doesn't change the fact the Charlie & the Chocolate Factory soundtrack remains a masterpiece. I mean the decision to make each song a tribute to a different era of music was perfect. Especially for Mike Teavee to show the many things you could watch on TV, but just because you watch TV doesn't mean you know everything, and that TV can be wrong. Also, who wouldn't want to sing about how great your master is while being burned? Elfman's a genius, big respect for him, especially since he had to compose the music for the movie simultaneously with The Corpse Bride. And most of the lyrics are directly from the book! The 2005 adaptation in general is more accurate to the book, and it's a shame it's hated

Please do a theory on Atlantis The Lost Empire. The crystal thing is... weird... What’s up with the stuff fusing with human flesh ? What’s with the force fields, levitation, energy beams and animating special inanimate objects ? It’s pretty obvious they created giant war robots, but why ? The most intriguing question of all is... was Atlantis actually destroyed by nuclear war ? Did they create nukes ? What’s that explosion at the beginning ?

I think doing "self-contained" theories like these is a good way for you to ease back in and avoid both boredom and neurotic obsession. I'm not trying to be degrading. I am the definition of neurotic. I just get it. And I really appreciate you. Putting on your playlists has helped me get through days where any external noise I can't control makes me wanna explode.

I was rewatching the movie and in the first room they go to, the chocolate waterfall one, the oompa loompas actually harvest the trees and such there. Wouldn't that suggest wonka has managed to make candy plants that likely grow their "fruit" (read as candy) further proving his ability to create life?

i think willy wonka himself is a sentient chocolate. He literaly says that he himself is editable. His teeth never got unhealthy even tho he never cleaned then. He replaced his mortal body with an immortal chocolate one, and that is why he almost never leaves the factory unless it is cold: he doesnt want to melt.

In the books there is also the “Square Candy that looks ‘round”, a sentient candy with eyes that looks at the people about to eat them.

It's been mentioned that Mike has been calling Wonka out, questioning the odd things he does. He's also the final kid to go, after seeing the consequences three other kids. He's smart... why would he fall for Wonkas trap? That's something that's always been on my mind.

What’s really interesting is that in the recent reworking of the musical adaptation in the UK tour, they make the Oompa Loompas into robots that Wonka has invented himself. It would make sense as robots would never share secrets to other chocolate makers. Ask well as not being in their system to save the kids and just continue working. It also avoids the similarities to well… you know.

I'm very glad that you recognized you needed a break and did that for yourself. It's very important to put yourself as first as possible when and where you can.

If I recall right the ending showed the narrator as an Oompa Loompa, possibly they are already slipping out into the world.

Great video, Mr. Theorizer, as always. I know I'm years late to this, and it is probably super obvious, but I just wanted to say something about Coraline. In your theories, you talk about how the Other creations were formed from pre-existing objects filled with soul sand. What if those pre-exisiting objects weren't random, but specifically chosen for their connections to the people they were replicating. The Other Father was a pumpkin, and it is established that Coraline's parents work for a GARDENING catalog. You mentioned how the taffy in Ms. Spink and Forcible's room is connected to the missing children, but it is something that they clearly take pride in, as shown by how they brag about it. The Other Ms. Spink and Forcible are made from taffy. And the Other Mr. Bobinski is made of rats. I'm sorry if this was obvious, but I just wanted to mention it just in case.

I'm sort of surprised you didn't add any footage from the BTS where they show the guy who did the oomoa loopa work having to do the SAME dance sequence over and over so that they could have the synchronized dance routines in the film. Like.. that's just.. insane.

Now I'm thinking he did this to his father as some kind of twisted punishment and lied to Charlie about it. He seems to like everything in its so called proper place and is very clean. He even moves Charlie's house without them noticing so it's not completely farfetched to jump to this conclusion.

i'm not really sure how one would incorporate this into the theory, but something i learned a while back is that dentists don't actually hate candy, or at least some candies. A dentist told me a while back that sometimes they even intentionally use chewy / sticky candies to help pull out old or faulty dental work that needs to be redone.

I do have somethings to state about this theory. There is stuff in the books that they couldn't do. The biggest part is that they went to space in the elevator with Charlie's family but there is things that should exist. If you read the 2nd book then you will see there is more you can put into theory's

I'm surprised you didn't mention what I always thought was the most suspicious piece of dialogue in this movie - Wonka mentions that everything in the candy room, even himself, is edible. This of course means the Oompa Loompas are edible, implying they may indeed be made of chocolate. But what does that mean for Wonka?

This was the first of your videos I've seen and I love your vibe. When you mentioned the edible room being his "garden of Eden" raised a question, if wonka has his own garden of Eden, that means he sees himself as a god or maybe even god. So are the ommpa loompas his angels or demons.
