It must be me but I really don’t like this song, I just can’t relate in any way with the text and it appears to be like a for “for girls only” song, the music just does not match her style of sing, and all I read is just the usual omg i love u billie u ate go GIRL, can you just about listen to a song without be influenced from her body or face just for one sec?
it's fair if you need to relate to a song to like it, but that's very subjective obviously. I don't really give a crap if I relate to a song. I'm not interested in ever having a boyfriend, but the world is PLAGUED with straight love songs, and some of them I just really like how they sound. Then again, subjective. Her style of singing matched the song perfectly for me. I think it sounds dope, she doesn't always have to sing the same way, you know? From what I'VE heard, most people like the song because 1) It sounds great, nice beat, hella catchy and 2) here's a BIG female celebrity putting out a song about liking a girl. That is HUGE and feels like a win for a lot of people. IDK what the stuff about "her body or face" has to do with anything, who's talking about that?? We're talking about the music and the themes of the song...

Omg I heard this today and I was like oh this is a banger! Then I heard the lyrics and thought “well that’s a banger for sure.” lol I love the song but can’t with the lyrics. I’m a little prudish.
