When I was playing in my band circa 1996, it was a track nearly every support band was covering. So few of them would ever nail it quite like these guys could though. Still a fuckin awesome track that's such an inspiration for young bands starting out.

Yes, also a band called "These animal men" from Brighton England. They had an ep called taxi for these animal men, and then released their debut called come on' join, the high society. Brilliant record. If you like the dolls, stooges, mc5 punk rock/roll.

@@matthewjdouglas6471 Brighton has always had a great local music thing, played there a number of times especially the overnight mass samba bloco festival including a shared tune to conclude the march on the beach 🏖

+TheDarkest Knight They are always fun! But I would suggest a small club/venue, the sound is just better, the noise/bass grind is often lost a bit on a festival ground. Check their concert at the Brixton Academy 1994, but I guess you already saw that. I saw them quite a bit over the years, even got to meet the lads when they played in my home town. Andy is quite the philosopher actually hehe, and they had Sushi for dinner at a place we suggested. Cool dudes all around. And, together with some coverings here and there, and New Order, they are the one of the few bands where you can still hear Joy Division songs live ;)

Yeah I remember! Thought they weren't gonna play but thankfully they did

And the 2 times that the PA cut off in Knives before they managed to play the full set. I really liked the alternating main stages at Sonisphere, but saw Feeder (as Renegades), Terrorvision and Therapy? were on smaller stages and thought there would be clashes for sure - and then discovered they were all on in the middle of the night, no clashes, hurrah! Slight drawback, the ENTIRE site trying to cram into a tent to see some big name bands up against literally nothing else.

Yes I agree and also the fantastic guitar of Andy Cairns. I've been listening to Trublegum since it came out and didn't realise they're a 3 piece, fantastic band.
