When I was buying my VW Passat the dealer had me go over to pick it up of the lot, and the guy who drove me there had a 1995 Corolla. It looked pretty beat up. I asked him with all these cars around why he drove such a piece of junk. I will never forgive the look he gave me. Then he said this piece of junk has more life in it than 5 Passats. Yep! My Passat is somewhere in junk yard now , and he is still driving that old Corolla !

@@cuentauno9740 Personally, I've driven a 1996 model corolla and it still drives smoothly, start up every time. I would rather buy an old Corolla and drive it as long as possible than buy a brand new car with all the fancy electronics and lots of problems..Believe me, it's a better investment. Bcoz, the main purpose of a car is to take u from A to B, it has 4 wheels, an engine and metal caging 😅 . I've worked as a sales personal at a car dealership, to be honest I prefer these old corollas, even the old lancers or old nissan sentra. There's something special about these old cars, maybe that 1990's vibes...

These Corollas are terrific. I bought a 98 Corolla for my daughter 6 yrs. ago when she got her license. She didn't think it was cool, so she went out an bought an Infiniti G35. So, I use the Corolla as my daily driver. It's the most reliable car in the house and I have a BMW 528i, Volvo S60 , and a Mitsubishi Outlander at home. But running around town, I still take the Corolla. It has about 200K miles and needs very little maintenance. Most of the parts are inexpensive and it's an easy car to work on.

That’s a nice looking corolla. I remember when my dad used to drive his friend’s corolla, its a white one. He even let me drive it one time and when i am about to enter the road, i did not looked at the side mirror and just drove without noticing a car was already coming so the car almost hit us. That time i was still studying in my home country, the Philippines and my dad is there for his vacation. He was workin in Dubai till he left us almost a decade ago. And now i am here in Dubai with my wife and children. I will never forget those memories with that beautiful white toyota corolla even its not ours. I always look at my dad while he drives it, how he drives it and always looked at the speedometer and the way he shifts the gears. Miss u dad!

I had a pal at the job (this guy was son of a millionare from my country working with us just for fun and learning puprposes), he drove one of this, very standard exterior besides de low offset rims and low profiles tires, but inside the engine bay there was a big surprise, a camry v6 turbo engine modified by order in japan, the car was a complete sleeper and torque steer beast.

I miss my 90 Corolla SR-5, I made it look like a GT-S style (as the only mod I did). These were great cars to maintain & super reliable. These models were sporty looking too, low hood, flip up lights, etc. Why the heck did I ever sell that?!

My mum daily drove an E100 Corolla for 10 years and covered well over 100,000 miles in it and it never missed a beat. It's my car now and at 23 years old and over 135,000 miles on the clock she still refuses to die. We've owned it for almost 12 years now and it hasn't let us down once, and it only costs me £400 a year to insure which, for a first time driver isn't bad.
