There are consequences to losing the Wii U & 3DS Eshops 

I completely agree. I've been a long time fan of the 3DS. But it wasn't until last December that I got to experience the WiiU. It came preloaded with Pikmin 3. Which helped me realize the concept of the console. I believe both the 3DS and WiiU had soo much more potential to be the worthy successor to their namesakes. The 3DS being overloaded with 2D titles. The WiiU just being underutilized in general. Nothing in gaming disappoints me more than "What could've been?" I hope that these consoles can live on through the homebrew community the same way the Dreamcast has, however unlikely. Soo many more games I want to download too! Especially some of the more expensive physical titles. Or digital only such as Shantae. But I know one thing for sure. The moment the shop goes offline will be the day I'm modding the consoles. So I can experience their afterlife.

Yes! The WiiU gamepad is so much more comfortable than the Switch! I've felt crazy thinking this. Glad to see someone who agrees. (Keep up the good work!)

I'm dreading picking up all the games and DLC I need to buy in these few months of these EShops life's. The Streetpass Plaza DLC is especially icky because hardly anyone carries a 3DS around anymore to begin with but I don't want to miss out on those games I never bought. Edit: Oh yeah 3DS themes are also a huge blow to my backside. I get you can easily hack the 3DS to change them but I like my hardware stuff authentic.

Look, the e shop closing is a very small issue when you consider that the Wii U and 3DS have ‘replacement’ shops with homebrew.

7:59 you just insert DS cartridges into the 3ds and they are playable.

Why virtual console wasn’t universal thing after the Wii is beyond me even if it would’ve been limited to consoles only. (Even a simple straight meh port would be something) It’s tiring how Nintendo gives us so little yet expects us not to pirate or figure out alternatives. They would make more money if they simply listened haha.

No. There aren't. This is exactly the same situation as with the Wii Shop. All that's going to change is that instead of getting your games from there, you'll be getting it from an online site like hshop. Nintendo no longer wants your money? Well, sucks to be them, but there's no reason WE should cry about it when every single one of these games are readily available online. Are we going to get this reaction every time an online store closes? This was obviously going to happen at one point or another and will also happen with every other console at some point in the future. Just accept it. This is only the second time Ipve had to see this reaction and I'm already sick of it.

Does Nintendo *WANT* us to buy a 3DS preloaded with hundreds of games? Also, the Wii U is better than the switch. Change my mind.
