If there were robot kids, then Security Breach has done an unnecessarily terrible job in setting them up.

Honestly the implication of Burntrap being able to hack Glamrock Freddy by placing his hand on a screen just makes me think that it’s not Afton returning from the dead, but Glitchtrap possessing the body that Vanny created, idk I feel it works better than just “William Afton: Technomage.” It really kind of shows how underutilized Glitchtrap was as an entity in this big game.

Side note, but I absolutely love the idea that William would take the opportunity to, while buried in someone's brain, to just pull up Google to look up tutorials on mind control and not even use Incognito or at least clear the history, not realizing that A) The internet is monitored at the establishment, B) Literally anyone in the history of ever who has tried to Google questions pertaining to thier crime usually get outed by thier web history, and C) William probably stumbled on some weird DeviantArt stuff. He probably would have been better off with a library.

honestly, the biggest factor in favor of the robot doppelganger/clone theories is that scott's a huge scifi nerd and as evidenced by the biography of a yogi audio clip, might consider robotic or artificial life just as valid as organic life, but that's entirely meta/doyalist reasoning so i personally don't count it. Edit: and with hindsght that autobiography of a yogi quote about metal being alive, might in universe be an Afton quote, specifically because it cuts "the joy of creative service" down to "the joy of creat-"/the joy of creation which sounds like a quote a sci fi mad scientist like afton would say.

I believe Funafs theory that Gregory isn’t an animatronic human yet. But was selected to be the replacement for William Afton’s plot to rebuild his version of a perfectly family.

tbh the main reason they're pushing for robot kids is because then characters who are ostensibly human can be declared to "be" characters that have already been in the games before. Like, it's weird: people groaned about William Afton showing up again, like they desperately want the series to move on... but then it presents new characters with actual names, and we're like "THAT IS DEFINITELY CRYING CHILD SOMEHOW".

It kinda just feels like almost every protagonist/significant human in a FNaF game is doomed to the robot theory. Personally they always feel like copouts, like we have these brand new characters that could have their own interesting backgrounds, is them being a robot really the only way they can be interesting?

If I'm not mistaken, Gregory has a bandaid on his cheek. Which, from a robots point of view, could make Freddy believe that Gregory is broken. Maybe we should be wondering how/why Gregory got that bandaid. Who knows? One of the FNAF games, a HUGE clue/focus point was around why/how Toy Chica lost her beak. But HEY, THATS JUST A THEORY.... I really don't think the visual effects matter if Gregory's a robot. I say this because when you died in FNAF 1, where we assume we play as Michael, after the jumpscare we are met with a static screen. So saying Gregory's a robot is practically saying Michael's one too.

1.While the Charlie theory is the most likley, i dont like any of the robot theories and just feel like we shouldnt gravitate to the books every time we cant immeadiatly solve something, as someone who read them. 2.I feel like patient 46 is her own character, bc trying to connect her to existing characters is basically the whole "phone guy=purple guy" thing from long ago (which were both started by matpat if im correct, which is funny) 3. My theory for the "you look different to me" line is that Freddy may be seeing Gregory's skeleton and organs if he's not a robot Edit: as I said this it was mentioned in the video. Whoops

MatPat needs to react to other theorists' videos, especially this one. I think it would help him avoid preconceived notions and be open to more ideas. Not that he doesn't make good theories, but sometimes this series takes a different path than what they've always done.

My main issue with a lot of theories that game theory posts is that they just... Don't allow for game logic. Take, for example, their subnautica theory. They say that almost the entire map would be filled with nuclear energy and radioactivity but why would a game maker DO that? If the devs did that the game simply wouldn't be playable until you get the radiation suit. Same thing goes with the vanny filter. It's simply to alert the player that vanny is there.

I really believe the connection between the games and the books are simply what Scott said; they mirror aspects of each other. Yes, technology presented in the books probably exists in the games and vice versa; but people are weirdly hooked on creating one-to-ones. The book Afton and the game Afton reflect aspects of each other but they SHOULDN'T line up because they AREN'T one in the same, but they echo each other, foreshadow on each other and fill in holes (example; if we never figure out which type of cookie Mike likes in the games, I'll assume the Mike-alike in the books preferring sugar cookies might be a reasonable hint). We may have seen the illusion discs in use in FNAF 4 (the ringing noise with fredbear's head in the closet) but we've never been shown them explicitly in use; instead their shared existence in the books gives us the opportunity to consider how they might work in the games, but again it SHOULDN'T line up 1-to-1. If anything, I think the idea of child robots showed up first in Sister Location; with the heads in the bunker office. They're robot heads (similar to bibbibabs) but covered by a latex skin. The other humanoid robots in Sister Location also suggest Afton isn't incapable of human-like robots, but then the human-robots in the books seem more advanced and that's... That's okay. Why can't it be "okay" for there to be different degrees of advancement between robots in the books and the games? Until people learn to let it go, I guess we'll keep getting these hard comparisons. Again, if anything, I just feel like stuff in one media is like a helpful pointing to a direction if your lost in the other media and that's it. Literally.

One interesting thing to chew on is that whilst most Tales From the Pizzaplex stories are explicitly from different plexes, oddly enough Somniphobia seems to take place in the same one as the games. Weird detail that's been bugging me, but probably nothing behind it. (Most of the stories reference having either a rollercoaster, role play area, bumper cart, happs jungle gym thing, or all of the above but only Somniphobia references the same attractions as seen in the games)

I think the biggest problem with Game Theory when it comes tl Security Breach is that they are focusing on the robot kid part too much, negating any other posibility and by doing that just norrowing down the chances of being wrong by eliminating other alternatives. Its a clear case of wanting to be right so baddly he downright just ignores any other posibility and only sees the facts tgat can support their theory which is... Eh... One of the biggest mistakes someone who ties to present a theory in a serious way can do.

1:55 The VR sisters are actually references to the High Score Toy Chica skins from the FNaF AR event. If you look at them closely, you can see that they have beaks. 2:17 It's stated in those very same books that because William was incapable of truly loving someone, due to his huge misunderstanding of love itself, his creations didn't have the 'spark of life' that Henry's did. 13:16 I think it was changed because like Fazbear Frights, some stories are connected to the games, while some are not. Strangely enough, the Epilogues to Tales of the Pizzaplex undeniably take place in the games' continuity.

We’re basically just waiting for the Ruin DLC to come out, so it confirms or debunks these theories. I really hope they’re not robots, we need new characters not old ones who have somehow been resurrected. Storywise it would also fit Henry’s plan to destroy the remaining animatronics. Making FNAF: VR and beyond a new era dealing with both a physical and digital William along with Vanny as the new antagonists.

One single thing that instantly breaks "anyone's a robot" theory for me: why would Steel Wool even bring up such a concept from the books so straght-forward in the first place considering that barely anyone who played Security Breach is even remotely familiar with the books and what they're about? It feels plain stupid to use the concept that is only explained in the books and wasn't presented in any of the games at all.

Ever since Mikebot=Mikevictim died, Matpat has been trying to stuff the Robot Child concept into the games no matter how little sense it makes. I think he believes that because Afton's name was revealed in the books and Sound Illusion Dics originated from the books, there's gotta be a robot kid running around somewhere, even though it wouldn't work for the games. Matpat literally went into Security Breach with the idea of "Gregory is secretly a Robot" and just spent most of his time searching for things to prove it and ignore everything that went against it.

Yeah, I never saw Gregory as a robot. Nor Vanessa. I don’t even believe anyone is possessing Glamrock Freddy, his crash and reboot on safe mode after the show saved him from becoming corrupted. Great video, excellent points!

Another point refuting the Oops All Elizabeth theory; I saw mentioned in a retrospective sort of video on Baby that originally, she wasn't on Afton's side. In the cutscene after Sister Location Custom Night (you know the one) Michael says "they thought I was you" while talking to Afton and I'm fairly certain it was Baby's plan to scoop him the entire time. So Baby was under the impression that she was about to kill her dad and was super cool with that. To be fair she did get rewritten in Pizzeria Simulator to basically just be Daddy's Girl TM. That was just a thought I had and wanted to bring up

I think this is honestly what I have been thinking in regards to the robot kids idea. Don't get me wrong do I understand the logic people have? Yes I do. But I feel that them being brainwashed makes way more sense

if it is confirmed that Gregory is human, that would make him the strongest human protagonist in the fnaf franchise(Michael doesn't count because he is a rotting corpse), he has the iq that could ALMOST rival that of Afton. Cassidy(assuming she's the princess) will definitely praise him when they meet.

Tbh to me its a bit frustrating how we're even trying to "solve" security breach or guess what the dlc will bring us, simply because i feel like a lot of the things we're theorising arent even things the game seemed to want us to theories about? Why are we theorising on gregory to begin with when the game literally showed us he is a homeless kid?? Why are we theorising about freddy being micheal for? Just cause freddy said "all my friends are down here"? Its so weird. Idk maybe im just a bitter person but id rather have us solve the original timeline before we pick up the books and try to retroactively solve stuff or even move onto a dlc that didnt even come out yet. We still dont know what fnaf 4 was about and to me it seems crucial to guess what scott had in mind back then to then solve things one by one until here. The games have had so many retcons at this point that we first need to know what was retcon, we first need to know what is canon or not, and thats not possible if we dont even know what was happening in the first place. As you pointed out, why focus on humanoid androids when we dont even know if in game anyone did thaaat, like is it even canon cause as far as i know the books were confirmed as an headcanon 😭 aka not even canon. (Also the stories in the books suck anyways and make no sense so...)

I remember when MatPat was watching FuhNaff’s theory, and John brought up the VR Sisters for the umpteenth time, Mat said that everyone has their “pet” theory that they always come back to. I think robot-people is MatPat’s pet theory, lol. I don’t know if it’s because he wants it to be robot people, or because he’s decided to just commit to it, but I think he finds robot people in everything. I don’t like the idea of robot kids in the context of FNAF. I like the newer characters as their own characters rather than reappearances of old ones.

And ALL THIS is assuming that androids are canon in the games. Which, at least in my knowledge, there has been no confirmation that androids even exist in the games canon. Nobody has pointed this out, so I’m saying here now.

My issue with the Gregory beign a robot is that there are gameplay elements that conflict with the theory. It's implied that Roxy can see other robots through walls, yet when you hide when she still has them, she can't find gregory. Pretty sure they aren't lining the baby prams, photobooths and lockers with lead to block that sort of thing. You can also hear Gregory breathing faintly in certain hiding spots. Also why would a robot need a stamina bar? Freddy has to recharge energy via the booths so why would Gregory not have to after using up the energy bar?

All I hope is that the highest up in Fazbear Entertainment is Mrs. Afton because she was literally a placeholder for some lore that didn’t really matter, that’s why I believe Ballora is based off of a previous wife or lover, maybe even a mistress leading Afton to separate from his wife or something, the only reason im mentioning this is because of the dramatic tv show micheal watches as the William stand in says it’s not his son, what if it was true but flipped around?

Honestly, the robot kid theory has weight to it based on the books, some places in the game (like the sticky note room), and the quote in FNAF 1 on Night 5’s call. Hiding from Vanny even seems to be a bigger priority for Gregory rather than getting out of the Pizzaplex. I don’t WANT it to be true, though, is my problem. That’s part of why my personal (albeit unstable) headcanon is that Gregory is an Emily. The idea of there just suddenly being skinjob animatronics in a Terminator-like fashion is just way too spontaneous and throws away too much of the established lore.

I have always had mixed feelings about GregBot. I don’t hate it but I don’t completely agree with it. Can I add on a couple points for it? Gregory is exploring this massive pizza plex he never gets hungry, thirsty, or even tired. You would think he at least once would. At least whine or complain about one of those. Heck maybe had something in El Chip’s or at 6 am when leaving. Gregory also enters the charging station with it active and charging Freddy. Even though he’s inside Freddy. In the beginning of the game he talks to Freddy just fine, and yells at Freddy, while inside Freddy’s stomach, but after he hops out. Freddy asks him “Who are you?” Gregory pauses for a good few moments then stutters “I-I-I’m... Gr-Gregory..” I have always disagreed with Vanny = Elizabeth. It just never made sense

There are no robot kids in Security Breach. The only thing small enough to count is Lil' Music Man, and he is a honest, hard-working adult.

I have a feeling like steel wool didnt have a solid grasp on what they wanted for this game and have realised if they are vague enough they can make up any answer they want and say that was the answer from the start.

I think another point for Gregbot is the thing that he can casually go into charging stations inside freddy. Because I mean, frankly, even if I was assured that it's safe, I wouldn't sit inside a huge metallic robot inside a charging station surrounded by electricity

I actually made my own theory on my Twitter based off of his theory of Gregory being a robot. However my theory was to prove he's NOT one 😅😅😅 this one however might just be better in theories as I forgot about Vanessa 😂😂 (bit of insight on the Vannesa one so you're not confused, I have a half completed theory of Vanny being Vannesa's little sister as Vanny is always giggling like a child. Disappointed that you didn't bring up the Sister Location room code, which is the most slam dunk evidence for Gregbot and was what convinced me of it (I didn't find the other evidence that convincing either). The code literally says that the speaker (seemingly Michael) "built" Gregory ("the breath"), that he is "life not real," and "your life, your aim will save those with soul," as if Gregory himself is without a soul. And it's definitely talking about Gregory when you consider the line "Dodge, duck, flash, shoot, crawl, run, crush the vile band" which is literally what you do the entire game. "break and mend i built the breath they hunt now" - Michael built Gregory, whom the Glamrocks now hunt "drawn to life not real" - The Glamrocks are drawn to Gregory, who is not a real "life" "still keen and frit and fraught with thought and zest and gest no blunt woes" - Despite being a robot, Gregory is still very humanlike "dodge duck flash shoot crawl run crush the vile band" - Gregory's purpose for which he was built, which is what we spend the whole game doing. He was literally created to destroy the Glamrocks. "cry not try not do not hold out hope no" - idk, this line is weird "your life you aim will save those with soul" - Gregory's purpose appears to be to stop the disappearances of children, who are contrasted with him in that they are "with soul," unlike Gregory.

The only thing I can see connected from the furious rage and security breach is the background. Especially in the new epilogues they started out a circus which is nearby the instruction site for the mega Pizza pizza Plex build

I have a love/hate relationship with the army of Vanessa’s theory. On one hand it makes no sense and I don’t believe it, on the other hand it means there’s an army of Vanessa and how could that make me feel anything but joy?

I feel like William afton has set up the return of the franchise every time it dies. He's not trying to wreck it. It's just his calling card. It's him setting up shop in a new town far away from the last location either by distance or time to continue his arcane science. I imagine he dreams of converting everyone in to animatronics under his control like his own version of eggmanland

The big thing with Mr on this theory is, remember when every MatPat theory on FNAF was based on the theory that "the crying child is Michael, and the Michael from all the games is a Crying child bot" well it wasn't true then, and the series has moved on. Why would they regress back to something they've already abandoned It really feels like MatPat thinks that the "dead child is rebuilt as a robot" thing was supposed to be in the games, so now he's trying to do that for every child in the game, when in reality it was probably just done as a plot twist.

Great video! However you missed alot of evidence for Gregbot. Gregory's connections to Evan/BV are undeniable. He's wearing nearly the exact same clothing, the sticky note room seems to show some kind of genetic algorithm replicating the crying child's personality. Even the dynamic between Gregory and Glamrock Freddy is reminiscent of Evan/BV's relationship with his stuffed Fredbear plushie. Fredbear's Family Diner is also refrenced alot, plus there are multiple refrences to a 'broken' staffbot and a headless staffbot. And FINALLY Gregory uses the power-stations despite him being a human. It's pretty clear I'm a very big Gregbot supporter.

completely agree. robot kids are not a thing and they explain nothing. they might be robots, but i will only consider it as soon as we have anything that actually implys it. but i disagree with one part: tales not being canon. 13:27 that picture doesnt show 2035 and i will die on this hill. it is a 20/5 and the three is just the end of the five being really squiggely. so 2035 is not the date for bs, since nothing else implys it. personally i believe sb 2063, but thats a whole other story. whatever the case, 2035 isnt set in stone 13:55 b-7 is one of two stories to never mention the pizzaplex. it probably happened around the 80's until around the year 2000, since freddy and friends, the tv show he watched in the beginning, was found in the archives of fazbear entertainment, from years ago. we know this because of the descriptions of the episodes on youtube 14:07 lallys game doesnt say the pizzaplex is still open. he was there as a child, and it might have closed already. this would put lallys game as the latest event in the timeline 14:10 the tiger is a vr attraction. not an actual animatronic. at least the description implys it also: the newest story bobbiedots features an exact similar pizzaplex from security breach. it has fazerblast with the alien-hat staff bots, it has dj music man, with his bouncer mode grabbing in the toilets and the daycare attendant who gets explained why he is so evil as moon, why the lights went out and why the generators are in the playstructurs. also the epilouges of the books are in freddy fazbears pizza place, where it gets explained, why the plex is being built ontop of the old location, and we have a killer endo who piles up a bunch of other endos and dead humans on a pile. it is very likely that the killer endo becomes burntraps endo and the pile of endos and humans the blob.

I will say that no Game Theory, especially "Mario is Mental", is well supported. They're just fun what-ifs more often than not. Treat them as such, and make careful sure to notice that MatPat's whole language, whole "persona", is that of a crazy person trying to prove their own worldview, and that's an interesting and fun public persona that I enjoy to view. The sooner we all accept that if MatPat is right, that's only when his persona accepts common sense, not because he's made a galaxy brain play.

The Gregory one I have the biggest problem with considering that. After the "I feel like you're broken" line, you pass a couple staff bots around a disassembled staff bot, which resembles the give gifts/give life mini-game. "You're broken" directly after a reference to Golden Freddy? Robots can canonically bleed in the FNAF franchise as they do in the books. They can also eat (not just Gregory either, Chica eats garbage and is attracted IN GAME to a pizza) and some don't even know they are not human themselves. I don't understand how people give this one line of CUT dialogue even the light of day as argument against this theory. About that Chica scene... why does she know his name? Doesn't he have no records? There's a line of Vanessa's FNAF AR emails that talks about 3 life sized male human masks... I don't know where that would go, but my guess would be William, Afton and Crying Child? I'm leaving it here, not really as evidence against or for but to help create a possible narrative. Why does Gregory hesitate to say his OWN NAME after talking to Freddy for quite some time, where he didn't hesitate for any time? Almost like he had to think about it? Like he made it up on the spot? As for the screen effect, I'm not convinced. It feels weird that everyone else is unable to see Vanny, EXCEPT Gregory. This makes me think that it might not be a robot thing, BUT after obtaining Roxy's eyes Freddy DOES see Vanny, meaning the technology does exist and Gregory could just have them built in. Are we not gonna talk about the fact that Gregory can ENTER the charging station? This isn't our current day technology where you connect a cable into Freddy and it charges him. The electricity is directly shot into him THROUGH the station itself. By proxy then, shouldn't we also get a big ol' charge of electricity? Also for those people not convinced Gregory is connected to the Aftons: the 3 star ending also features Gregory, Freddy and Vanessa on a hill at sunset, enjoying ice cream. Gregory AND Vanessa in purple (NO THAT'S NOT A SHADOW, in literally every other ending the color themes are the same despite them ALL happening at night or near night time) and Freddy in between them. A little reminiscent of the TV scene (the one after Old Man Consequences iirc) if I might add. Gregory holds a Freddy Popsicle with its head bitten off.

11:21 you know at first I didn't fully see this as Michal till I paused but for some reason the wording alone surged my mind into think the possibility of glamrock Freddy being possed by Golden Freddy's spirit(s?) I mean in ucn the final cutscene showed them twitching to imply there still out there unlike Michael who died in that fire, and some other small but circumstantial details that make sense to me but probably not I donno I just felt the need to bring up that possibility maybe?

Security Breach really messed the lore up. MatPat just tries to make sense of something that doesn't make sense in general.

i thought the silver eyes books were an alt canon timeline that has some parallels to the games but isnt directly in their story line and only served to add more context to some things in the games and introduce some new concepts as well. the FF series is a different parallel yet also canon timeline that does the same thing. provide more context and introduce new concepts. and TFTPP is an alt timeline revolving around the pizzaplex and well does the same thing provide more context and add new concepts.

Ok, speaking of evidence from the books; I feel like there is a method to the books. After all, they were made to help solve the lore, because the worlds in the books work by the same rules as the games. So if something happens in the books, it means that something similar is ABLE to happen in the games (does not explicitly mean it DID happen, just that it is possible. For example, Charlie in the books is a realistic robot kid. Which means it is possible for there to be believable robot humans in the games. However, that does not mean that there IS robot kids, it just means that it is not impossible for that to happen.) And when something is mentioned multiple times, noticably, across different stories, it means there is something we are supposed to glean from that, whether it be a rule of the world, lack thereof, or an actual date for an event, if it is explicitly emphasized, we're meant to notice it.

I think the cctv effect is more likely caused by one of the hallucination chips instead of Gregory being a robot

One of my theorys is that vanny wasn't walking in the pizzaplex but having illusion discs/holograms throughout the pizzaplex (which she use to torment Gregory)
