I was hooked to The Weeknds' songs way before he got industry famous. Back in 2014. I was later shocked and got amazed at the discovery of him being an Ethiopian. I rejoiced. I was even rejoiced at the continuity of his hits and run up to one of the best in today's Music.

My 8 year old son will be freaking out to finally hear something new from his idol The Weeknd😊. The concert in Hamburg/Germany was amazing

the scene with his “inner child” gets me. the whole story, all the symbolism, all this vision finally combines into one clear picture. this is not only a culmination of this trilogy but his whole life as an artist at least. he’s gonna take us on a final adventure and show us the trauma that planted a seed that born “The Weeknd” in him. he gotta find a love within himself to heal so “The Weeknd” will no longer be a cage where his inner suffering child is trapped in. the album’s gonna be emotional af.

As someone who is very invested in this storyline The Weeknd have crafted, since his debut, and connected them very carefully, I’m glad I fully understand it up till this point knowing it’s not just music but a masterpiece of a story. I can’t be more happy to witness this tease for the next chapter. Rest in Peace The Weeknd, you’ve delivered and your redemption arc is coming to a graceful ending, welcome “back” Abel.
