As the Miami Dolphins prepared to play their first season in the new Joe Robbie Stadium, WTVJ-4's Tim Minton took the pulse of the Phin's old neighborhood -- the Miami neighborhood near the Orange Bowl, the team's home from 1966 to 1986.
Minton found the Orange Bowl's neighbors in an uncertain mood, facing the financial impact of lost jobs at the stadium and lost parking fees from football fans. He also found a few who sere happy to see the unruly crowds and traffic jams associated with games move to the new stadium in north Miami-Dade.

That amazing video 📹 we want the 🍊 orange bow back....now you have the florida marlins playing in the same land..and it never gets sold out.... Miami vs Florida state....I miss those games....

1:05 Only $20 lol i see ya.playing it close to the cuff. that real cuban hustle ;) i lived on 18AV and 3ST SW and would make like $200 every UM game at my house parking cars. what a blast those days,

It’s funny, because this is sort of how, the historically Cuban West Tampa neighborhood, around Raymond James stadium is today. With all of the recent Buccaneer & Lightning success, Tampa Bay finally has more of a true local fan base; rather than it’s past transplant fan base.

Well, when you win you usually gather a strong local fan base. Look at the Miami Heat. I see more Heat fans than any other sporting franchise in Miami today.

Oh how I miss this version of Miami and want it back. Now in the OB's place is a stupid ugly baseball stadium. Look at those old homes. Most of them are gone today.
