We're on an epic road trip from Washington State to Chicago and back again. In this video we're highlighting points of interest along Iowa's I-80.
The great American road trip is a tradition as old as the automobile! Every year millions of Americans and visitors of America load up their cars, SUVS, RVs and Vans and pick a direction to head out! With thousands of miles of variating and breathtaking landscapes to choose from, not many choose to drive through Iowa unless they have to. We're here to say, don't skip this route, there's plenty to see and do! So, hop in, let's get rolling and see what there is along this lonely road.
We stop at the future birthplace of James T Kirk in Riverside Iowa, check out the Bridges of Madison County, The World's Largest Truck Stop, the largest frying pan in Iowa, Montezuma and more! Many of the Bridges of Madison County have been destroyed through fire. The Bridges are controversial to the community because of the craze the movie caused. Oprah's bookclub hosted a screening of the movie out in the field by one of the Bridges and people were trampling fields and trespassing to get a glimpse. Things are much calmer now but please be respectful.
