He's been beatboxing for about 15 years and is considered to be one of (if not THE) best. He has multiple championships from over the years and this year he's going to be a judge at the GBB.
The reason why i like D-Low is he is just so humble and loving guy off the stage but when he gets on the stage,he is just a straight beast ready to tear apart its enemies.
To answer your question at 10:43, it’s both. D-Low is regarded as one of, if not, the best solo beatboxer. He has extreme versatility, and he has been beatboxing for 15 years now. But the level has been increasing every single year. Every year, the scene gets crazier, and after a global lockdown, the skill level is insane now. We are looking at the greatest GBB to date to take place this year.
10:43 I think beatbox is elevating into something like from "genres of beatbox (like old school, trap etc.) to "personal styles (Dlow's style , Alem's style , Bigman's style, Improver's style etc.)" Im not sure if I am right or even i explained myself well enough but I really enjoy this change because it gives more color to the scene.

Yeah made it to the end :p also yeah literally every pro beatboxer says he is one of if not the hardest to win a battle against. His battle style is arguably the best in the scene. Like you said he is really smart with musical structure and counters count to that too he can copy so many other structures too. 👌🏻🔥
It was more fun to watch the battles with opponents, he counter so good the other participants, and in this compilation, you dont understand every routine or beat Peace, good reaction, keep that ❤️
Ironically, 2020 is when the beatboxing scene really leveled up in terms of musicality. My theory is that while beatboxers were stuck inside for so long, they received infinite time to practice.
I would say there is no doubt DLOW is the best, except for obviously style preferences and this one guy Reeps One having something that puts him in the GOAT talk. If you watch him (you deff should) I think you would understand. I recommend the Beatbox to World performance. Beatboxing as a whole is in rapid development, and content like yours fits this time well, I hope you continue to give your input!
yeah man im a drumline guy too and ive been following the beatbox community for about 5 years now. i really enjoy alot of beatboxers that do metric modulation and cool polyrythms. that stuff is so impressive to me! so it was really cool to react to someone that has a similar musical backgroud as i do!

Soo far man, your beatbox reactions have me soo happy and rehyped for beatboxing. Ive been beatboxing a long time and have a musical background as well. About 8years music with percussion and line including wind instruments. Wished i kept up through college but beatbox and bass guitar has kept me through and through to this day. looks like i need to join you socials and discord.
I Can tell you that beatbox is upgrading D-low is defenetly one of the best if not the best but there are a lot of dope beatboxers that Can Do some crazy beatbox techniques
@@ismail_bel04 Codfish uses basic sounds but he has mastered those sounds to perfection, he can do a lot more complex stuff but he is one of those guys that if he doesn't feel its perfect he won't use it even though everyone else would say it is perfect :) I won't argue though D-low is def the best battler right now. I personally don't like to choose a best overall cos there is so many styles and it kind of comes down to preference.

Also hard to say who is the “best” beatboxer. But its very many who are up on this level. One person youve mentioned before, “Alem” about being a drummer, actually has a musical background as well and has shown in few old videos that he can play the drumset pretty well and often posts videos of Handpan videos
Hes probably the best beatboxer and most enjoyable /uniform, even at battles. There are a lot of amazing beatboxers that have a lot of content like Colaps, Napom, Alem, Reeps One, Vocodah, Two H...much more. But whos hot right now I would say people are excited for the next Gbb worldleague hence all the wildcard 2021 worldleague submissions that are out right now. And the fact the Zer0 has a confirmed participation entry for that competition. Zer0 is one of the coolest technical beatboxers and may be one of the fastest up there with Alem. Has a really crazy flow. Videos to check from Zer0 would be Zer0 wildcard , the one where hes in a red and black sweater. As well as Zer0 Versus Napom, and Zero Versus Remix or Zer0 Versus Vocodah.

It's a shame you didnt watch at least all the d-low fights, it would unfold alot of understanding of the opponent and it would make you see/hear "counters" = better reaction. Counters is where you basicly copy your opponents beat or sound.
10:20 Random fact about D-Low : D-Low lost to Codfish at GBB 2018 in the final and that made him GBB18 Vice-champion, after that he didn't lose any battle👌
D-llow is one of the best beatboxer in my opinion he is the best beatboxer for battles i dont know where he ranks for technicality, style ,or musicality but i think he is one of the best and everyone is eveolving he just has his own style.
I already know you would love to hear this one " I asked EPIC BEATBOXERS to duet with me - Colaps. This beatboxer colaps beatboxes for like 2 - 3 minutes and asked other beatboxers to beatbox over his beat and he reacts to it himself and analyses it too in the video. It would be awesome if you reacted to that✌🏼
i would say...when beatboxer perform, their routine will be different for non beatboxer and beatboxer audience...this apply to all beatboxer i have known...for non beatboxer audience they will use simpler beats for showcase...but for battle they will use more technicality...but yeh he is too OP for competition rn lol
What makes this mad is the looper track dlow made is all from his mouth meaning they weren't aloud to use loopstation so he was looping with his mouth 😂
