Thanks for bringing up this quote! But it's important to take it the right way; this applies to God's people, who faithfully fear him. The modern state of Israel is not the same as the ancient theocratic nation of Israel, when they were most faithful. Certainly there are faithful children of God in Israel, and a lot fewer with their enemies (since these radicals love to kill them so much). God also thwarts the plans of the wicked, and protects the righteous. It's very clear who are the good guys and the bad guys.
