The graphics look stunning. They nailed character customization and build mode. I’d love to see a lot more active careers and more family dynamics. Fun challenges, etc.

Wow. This came out of nowhere. Life By You and Sims 4 getting some serious competition.

I knew it was South Korean immediately by the fashion, hair, and art style. And the fact that getting "Hit By Car" is a way to die reminds me of KDramas constantly doing that lmaooo. The Sims has always been extremely american and english speaking, and it looks like inZOI will focus more on the East Asian market. I'm surprised by the body and hair diversity. And the lighting is amazing. Don't love how many things look AI generated.

This looks really cool. I specifically hope that the relationship system is more fleshed out in the final release, with all relationships (family, work, romance etc.) That's one of my favoruite parts of life sims but so many seem to just fall flat

Looks really promising, IMO it seems to be better than the other life simulators on development out there. I really want to keep an eye on this.

I just watched another creators video of this and my jaw dropped. It is crazy they have made so much progress and no one ever said about it before. Korean games have a reputation for sometimes bad monetisation. But then so do EA 🤭

I'd like to see... ZOI CREATION: -The ability to create your Zoi FIRST then pick their traits, name, likes, skills etc... Most Simmers that I see tend to go this route, only naming their Sims & picking traits AFTER they've made them physically. -The Zoi to be able to actually reach up and pet the kitty on the stool. There's an animation that looks like they are trying to do that but then they pull back and it stresses me out, lol. Let them give pets!!! -A choice of different walk styles. -More diverse body types -The ability to choose romantic/sexual preferences -More alternative (Goth, punk, emo, hippie, etc...) clothing, shoes, hairstyles, makeup styles -tattoos & piercings -nail polish -jewelry -the ability to choose your Zoi's preferred phone case color HOBBIES: I think like in real life you should have the option to have a job but your hobbies should also be a potential way to earn income on the side or even start your own business, expand your business etc... -Writing (could lead to writing poetry, kids books, fiction, non-fiction. And you could have the opportunity to get traditionally published or go self-published) -RU-vidr -Gamer -Yoga Instructor -Bookworm (could lead to starting your own book review blog/YT channel) -Pottery (You could start off having to take pottery classes, then using the pottery studio for your own work, and eventually starting your own pottery studio where you sell your items) -Knitting -Thrifting (could lead to reselling clothing, upcycling clothing) -Fashion Design -Interior Decorator -Pets (could lead to pet sitting, walking, grooming, dog training) -cooking/baking GAMEPLAY: -Weather actually having an impact on the Zoi. Their health (too hot, too cold & must dress accordingly.) Having an impact on their mood, the way they walk etc...Having the option to choose their favorite season/type of weather -Much deeper interaction with other Zoi. I think it should take weeks in game or months to possibly change relationship status with other Zoi (positive or negative) Or we should have the option of setting the limit ourselves. You shouldn't be able to meet someone, fall in love, marry them and pop out a baby in only two hours of gameplay. Why bother making so much stuff realistic when absolutely nothing about that is even close to being realistic? It makes the gameplay feel very lackluster and childish, like it's actually geared towards teenagers. -the ability to cheat and have multiple romantic partners. -For god sake fix the hopping in bed to make a baby, then showing the cut scene, then jumping back to them in bed. It's immersion-breaking. At least have the cut scene before they go to bed. LOL -The ability for Modder's and Custom Content Creators to do their thing! -Baby interactions instead of them being objects that can just be left alone after spitting them out. Talk about bad parents, lol. -Bikes, skateboards, roller-skates, scooters the Zoi can actually use & we the player can control. -Challenges (and the ability for players to create & share their own challenges) BUILDING: -The ability to rebuild nearly any lot in the game and to be able to make it a residential, community or hybrid type of lot. -Two-story, three-story, four-story homes/apartments -pools, hot tubs -Variety of different building and decor/furniture styles (Farmhouse, Oldskool BoHo, Industrial, run-down trashy, Elegant etc...)

The graphics is everything I've ever wanted, korean devs make amazing-looking characters (if you play korean MMOs you are familiar with this style and all the downfalls just mentioned in this video). I just hope the "life" simulation is actually rewarding and challenging. I love the cutscenes, the city, the CATS, but if the gameplay is shallow then there is no point. I hope they take this seriously into consideration. *Suggestion:* a *memory system* with automatic memories for big and important life events and maybe a customizable option to add custom memories that are not covered by main events. With that said, I hope the dev team pay *special attention to family gameplay* and interactions and how death, generational problems or even divorces and step-parents may impact the family and its members.

I love the animation style I'm just concerned that the black and brown features appear to be lacking. That's really the only kind of characters i play. But it is still in early development so things could change

Oh wow, this looks amazing! I love the cinematics when making a baby and giving birth and that baby! Soo, cute and I love the realism of the look of the Zoi. The fire station practice of putting out fires is such a great idea. Would like to see cars/taxi's/buses to enable the Zoi to get around the world a lot more quickly. Definitely want to second other commenters. We need one-sided relationships, more challenging and realistic relationship building, and unrequited love. I shouldn’t be able to fall in love quickly with every single Zoi. There should even be an aspect where you can’t befriend just anyone.

This kind of style is SO COOL and at the same type SO SCARY to me lmao. In comparison, thanks to the sims 4 graphics i actually don’t perceive sims as “humans” and this allow me to play more freely; i am talking like deaths in game and bad stuff that happens to my sims, or even good stuff such as woohoo doesn’t concerned me that much while i think with this kind of hyper realistic style i’d def be more triggered by this kind of things 😅

If they are taking feedback for skills, have baking and cooking being separate skills is something that I really like (as they are in sims). I am only okay at cooking, but I am vary good at baking. Does that make sense?

I usually prefer more cartoony stylized graphics but I like how they pulled off the realistic look! I think I can vibe with it. Would be good if the windows cut away with the walls. Hope they take out the AI filter part out though because yikessss let's not normalize that stuff

Subways!!! I am excited it has public transport, but yeah I wish the game had a better system of getting you places. I think bikes would help a lot. Folks do subway and then bike.

Hope they allow mods. Both custom content and script mods.

How did they get the right to the push-n-pull face customisation? Paralives wanted to implement the same thing but they said they couldn’t because EA owned the rights/patent to that system..? Other than that I love the aesthetic and especially the Ui!! It feels clean and modern/timeless - something I expect from Rene.

Hobbies and Activities are paramount in a game like this. Outside of work and family life, there should be a plethora of activities to do around the world..especially in a city that size. I want to see a city calendar of events for different hobbies, holidays and activities that are going on in the city or neighborhoods throughout the months so a ZOI could plan their own calendars accordingly. I want it to feel as if I could do something new every single day of the year or experience an event in a different way every time....but I also want to feel as though I could chill out at home with my ZOI and have a lot of things I can do there as well. Monotony is boring. If players don't feel they can switch things up when they want to, the game will get boring very quickly like other life simulation games we know.

It looks amazing It just needs turn ons and offs and memories like in the sims 2 A lot of cut scenes and a huge emphasis on animations and interactions. Romantic animations, fights We need drama and the the zois need to feel alive.

This was fun to watch! For some reason it felt creepy to me to be able to manipulate a real looking person in character creation. I suppose that is something i would get used to.

I watched another person's video of this early sample version and they showed how clothing can be completely customized, so no need for styles to become 'dated'. For example: a top can have a choice of sleeves, it has 3 or 4 lengths to choose from and those different lengths have 'features' you can add such as loosely tied, small pleats, etc., necklines can be changed and adapted in numerous ways, not to mention the different colours - from 60's neon all the to the present and into the future if you want to design clothes down the road. The detail in the clothing is amazing and I especially loved the hair - the movement is natural and lovely. I can envision many ways this game will expand and grow prior to release and I am definitely interested!

It would be great if hair texture was treated almost like hair colour, whereas you select your Zoi's natural hair texture and colour, and then the chosen hairstyle would conform to said texture (for example, my Zoi has curly hair, so when I choose a ponytail hairstyle or a bob haircut, they both have that curly texture), with the additional option to "style" the hairstyle by altering the texture through straightening, curling, etc. If that is too complicated, another idea would be to simply be able to pick the texture per hairstyle, similar to how in build/buy you could pick from different legs or fabrics.

The game looks really beautiful; I love the details, and the cat and baby are adorable. If they add gameplay and make it so you can interact with your babies and pets, I'd really like this. It will be interesting to see what the devs do with it.

I cannot wait for this to come to completion and be available. This looks mind-blowingly insanely good.

Oh my gosh this is so exciting! I've been playing the Sims since I was a kid and always love seeing new life simulation games!!! Like you said in the video, I really hope they go into depth with certain aspects of the game, particularly with ZOI relationships and how their personalities affect the way they interact with the world and other characters. One thing I also hope they do is give each age group unique gameplay, as it would really add value to seeing your character go through life. It'd also be nice to have multiple ways to get around, like cars, buses, and bikes. Or maybe just the ability to make your ZOI run from place to place! I'm really happy with the life stages that are shown and the amount of customization options, though I do hope skin colors (especially hues) are more inclusive in the future. I was also absolutely blown away by the ways you can mix and match/ layer clothes, as well as build/ customize your own objects. That is definitely not something I'm used to! I would also like to see multitasking (at least allowing our characters to talk while doing other activities), adoption, and more activities for our characters to do outside of work to make them feel more life-like. I also hope they take some risks and do some unique things with the game! It's easy for companies to play it safe and just do what other games in the same genre do, but I genuinely think Krafton would benefit from setting it apart from other life simulations in development. They've already done it with the style, world, and character creation and look at how everyone loves it! I'm super excited about this game and I hope they continue being interesting and unique in their development! (I also hope they consider using a fake language, though maybe I'm just biased since I'm used to the Sims lol 😅) In terms of price, I assume it would be similar to the Sims or similar to games in similar genres, development time, and size. As for mods, I think modding is a big part of any game on the pc and I hope they take that into consideration and make this easily accessible to modders.

I think I figured out with my issue watching ppl play a bit of the game. It makes me think of the Korean MMORPGs but with less interactions. Granted it is early access and has only been in development a year (that feels weird enough). It also makes me think of fashion dress up games more than other life sims have. If I had to pick a skill then maybe digital art. There's just lots of things overall about this game I would like to see fleshed out more.

I like how it took it awhile to get to the job it’s realistic. You gotta plan for your character to get there on time

It would be a nice addition if, with the moveable UI, you could save presets! So if you stream you can have your UI set for that then change it to a preset you prefer for when you're not streaming!

I really love this game so far, and i can't wait to play it. glad The Sims finally has another competition since EA was always releasing unfinish/broken products and a monopolist. And the graphics is way better than LBY but it's my opinion.

The graphics are amazing! And I could tell this was a Korean game waaaaay before I even saw the people or the writing. It just immediately struck me as Korean (I watched another video before this one). I was like, "😲...that looks KOREAN!!" And it was. That's how good it is! The computer rooms you see are absolutely everywhere in South Korea - even small towns have them (called PC Rooms in English) and Karaoke is almost a national pass-time in some ways - every small town has at least one of those too, so that's why they're in the game. And there are street vendors and markets and SOOOO many kinds of coffee shops (book coffee shops, cat and animal coffee shops, weird and bizarre and amazingly different to western culture) - I would LOVE to see those quintessential Korean things represented in the Korean representative city. We western people see our own culture all the time - it gets done to death in our culture, but making sure the Korean city in particular has a lot of the traditional Korean stuff as well as the modern would be great too. Add some 한옥s (traditional Korean houses) and 팔격정s (Korean pagodas) and Korean uniquenesses like cutting food with scissors in the food prep in the Korean city. Don't leave them out. Show the world some unique traditional Korean-ness in the world too. 🙂

Soo at first I was like omg the graphics! 😮 but now I think I like it. The cut scenes are very realistic! Not sure how I feel about it. Don’t dislike it. Love your ideas being able to go to school like work. Some transportation would be nice so you aren’t late or putting subway stations closer maybe. My biggest wish for any life sim is that there is DEPTH! All that said I want to get my hands on this!!🥰🥰

Pretty incredible they did all this in a year of development, but I really hope they take their time with this game and don't rush it I've heard enough "horror" stories of devs about horrible working environments and how they're forced to make content in a short/unrealistic amount of time

Wow, I watch the gameplay video. Looks great. Only gripe I would have is the characters outside looks a little off but the indoors looks good. I would have to see more but I like it.

They should definitely add different size characters, Voice customization, different accents, skin color wheel, able to go to school with kids, phone customization, more careers/jobs, pets, social media, and should definitely add it to the newest consoles. Also being able to live too more countries and cities all around the world would be nice as well.

your video was the third one I watched on this new game ,you were the only one I have watched in Sims videos and I agree with your views . This game looks awesome . I also watched the trailer for this game. It has my attention. I've been a long time simmer myself.

For the skills I think having “sub-skills” and branching out on skills would be amazing. And it would be more real life like. For instance drawing/paiting. After a while the Zoi can have a “graphic design” or “architecture” or “black&white drawing” sub skills after the base skill is up at a level. For enstruments for instance music theory can be the main skill, but violin, guitar, piano, trumpet, cello, drums, electronic producing, dj-ing can be all sub-skills. The examples can go further but it would be soooo much more in depth this way.

Imma be in the character design for HOURS when this comes out.

i think it will make more sense if every trait will impact their moods. for example neat trait will boost hygiene when take a bath, they automatically cleaning with no energy/mood cost or dirty will be ok if hygiene is low but cleaning cost their energy/happy mood

I’d like to know if the game will support mods and custom content, it has great potential but cc will allow creators to bring more personalized style and culture to this. I will keep my eye on inzoi. Thanks for the video

Graphics wise this game looks amazing. Some parts seem to fall flat especially when it comes to emotions within the gameplay. Hopefully more diversity will be added to the game by release. Can't wait to see more

I am super excited for the game, I can't wait to see what else it has to offer. Thank you for sharing your experience trying it and your thoughts on it so far. The main thing I am hoping for is accessibility features, like high contrast UI, size options for the UI, text to speech for menus, notifications/pop-ups, text messages, etc., and text size options. As for skills, I love hobbies as well, so there are tons I'd want, but some skills in particular would be gaming, video editing, livestreaming, programming, skills for each individual instrument, writing, podcasting, voice acting, sewing, knitting, scrapbooking, tarot reading, meditation, pet training, drag, and activism. I would also love bands, I am so here for that.

This is the first life sim that I have seen that appeals to me as a sims competitor. I will definitely be following this one closely. As my wants for this game, career's wise I would love bands like you, would love a tattoo and body piercer career. I would also love fantasy elements like the occults in sims. Fairies, witches, mermaids, werewolves, superheros. That would be incredible and I genuinely think this could be good competition for the sims. One more thing, the Ui looks okay but just make it as streamline as possible so it doesn't break too much immersion but yeah no it looks amazing

I love that they worked on this in secret then released closed play testing. Sometimes taking in too many opinions can delay the game development I think. I think the game looks incredible considering they have only worked on it for a year. Although it’s in early development I am very impressed with how complete it appears to be. I really like it.

Personally I love the next gen realistic graphics! I been waiting for a life simulation game that looks this amazing without the silly cartoonish look. I want a game about life that looks like real life. I feel like now we are finally getting that more mature realistic feel. I also love the clothes. Would like to see beanies and more winter wear if that's not added.

This looks incredible, i love the ultra realism. Great review, Thank you for mentioning diversity and afro textures. I noted the absence of racial diversity in the trailer and am worried that this may be overlooked in the game. I hope they work on including different types of ethnic facial features, as well as skintones and hair textures.

I need hair physics, if there’s going to be realistic graphics on this level kinda needs hair physics. It looks weird that the hair physics is similar to The Sims, especially looking that realistic.

I love the way this game looks. These are the graphics I would expect with a simulation game in 2023. Tis was possibly 20 years, I don't know what the hold up is.
