Been better if shot of jack to cut the dust out. Never change drum height for many years, with 30 plus feet of material coming in. One aftermarket i love is cross auger shut off on unloading system, can control grain out of combine for less wear on chain load. Also by lankota.

No need to switch the feed drum, just leave it up. Saves the floor too. All i do is chopper knives and gear. And the cob deflector. Rotor stays on 1 almost always. We have a accelerator slow down kit and run it in slow all the time too. Class 8 u change the rethrasher. Takes me less than a minute.

We weren't too certain on the feeder drum, when we bought it one side was down and one was up so we figured the guy had been switching it. lol We've definitely gotta get a little more seasoned on the settings. Not getting as good a sample like we had with the Case. We'll be putting on aftermarket concaves next season. Hopefully cure that problem.

@salisburyfarms case is going have a better sample. You should be able to get it cleaned up well with the deere. The deere chews up corn into fines more is all. Slow down kits help.

I would like you to know , { although this is just my thoughts on this } , ANY piece of equipment that costs north of a million dollars should not need after market parts to keep it running ! AND , the electronics you don't even own ,, you just have the right to use them !
