Welcome to another video. This time I came across this Audi RS6 that I found on the marketplace . It seems very cheap and it's local so I decided to go and have a look ... Thank you for reading .
I would not have offered more than 5k. You are a very good person for even offering 6.5k that’s a very honest offer because in your calculations you didn’t value your labor
That seller should count himself lucky he was able to sell the car on again to someone who can fix it! Otherwise he would have a large driveway ornament! Good luck with the project!
Love it. 1000bhp monster inbound and £1M later.... should be great content and advert for your business Thomas. Love the sense of humour.... so many seemed to 'Not get it'😂😂😂😂😂
The car was not structurally damaged, and there are no salvage auction records on the vehicle. This points to the water damage being an insurance write off. 👍
You guys in Europe have it good with Audi prices. It would’ve been double what he asked in the states even with the issues. So many crazy deals over there I would like to take advantage of but we can’t import anything under 25 years old.
Took me all of 10s after you were sat in the Rs6 to know you had it, when you said you didn't come to an agreement on the same day. 😊 Can't wait to see this build.. BTW. What was done to the S4 power and exhaust wise? Sounded very nice pulling from the lights.
Do a vcheck on it, should show the Synetiq/Copart pics for when it was categorised, from my knowledge of buying salvage, some insurers do category N flood damaged cars without any body damage.
So I have a B7 4.2L V8 on about 130k now. It's a great car and sounds glorious but I also know it could go bang at any moment. I have to wonder if these cars are worth the investment? What are your thoughts? They are certainly getting rarer so it could be that they are. I just wanted a practical car (mine is an Avant) as I have kids but I also wanted a V8 and there really isn't much choice in the UK for those requirements!
I’ll tell right now: auction cars are there because they’re a problem. Some dealership already looked at it and decided it wasn’t worth it to fix. You can only make some small profit if you do the labor for free to fix.
Am I missing something here. He walks away from a car that's too dear. 2 days later, he's sat in a car, telling us the tail of his thoughts. Then he gets out of a blue RS6 and when his camera pans round to show the reg plate, it's the car, he went to see!?
Look after your eyes is my first suggestion. That looks like a 34 inch widescreen monitor to me, and you should be at least sitting back another 12-15 inches from where it is now. It does not do your eyes any good, and I expect you spend a lot of time looking up parts etc. You should be able to see the whole screen width without moving your head, just comfortably moving your eyes.
I have a BBK S4 Avant currently doing some minor engine work, oil cooler, water pump hoses, cam cover gaskets, inlet manifold gaskets, ive had a good look inside and it's immaculate under the covers, cams in perfect condition for 129k miles also took inlet manifold off to do gaskets and sized flapper, the valves are like new not a mark on them, it didn't make any noise on start up from cold from the chains, tried many times after watching your videos, so my question is if it made no noises and it's clearly had many many oil changes are the chains likely to be ok or should I drop the engine and do them anyway? Reason for the work is I.bouggt it cheap with oil in coolant, turns out it was main rad and auto oil. So both coolant and gearbox has cream cheese in.
Mister VAG, one question, is my S8 V10 2008 black full spec a keeper car for the future? Will they be 'wanted' cause of V10 or they'll be just one more old A8?
if you have time just tiny question. S4B9 2019. 65k miles. i boroscope rockerarm and its the big needle so im good there. the engine sound normal with the ticking of rocker arm and of the HPFP. But sometime i ear another sound. is it kown to have sound coming from fuel vapor purge valve ? If its the purge valve is it suppose to go faster when giving some throtle i dont think so. Anything come in your mind. Just buy the car its stock and dealer maintain
You're not a fan of MRC tuning? What's wrong with the best tuner in the VAG world? I've only had fantastic experience with them and I've never heard anyone say a bad thing about them
Love your videos. Can i ask a question,? 2013 30t Q7 Engine misfired and TPMS warning light came on all at once, no fault codes in ECU 😢 im thinking a fuel injector? Thanks in advance.
It wouldn't have been a misfire, the TCS would likely have activated ABS briefly on the wheel that reported the TPMS fault. Could either be a faulty wheel speed sensor and/or a TPMS sensor. If you have a VCDS cable it will tell you what it is and what wheel(s). Either way it's not an expensive fix. If it was an injector the EML itself would've came on and stayed on till it was fixed.
