My friend was in the drilling business. He set up a company in Jakarta to do core drilling in Borneo. I came to Indonesia when he was here on a business trip and now live in Bali retired. I would not have come to Indonesia without the invite.

I just finish episode 1 of this and the Crypto Queen. Fascinating of the human minds and nature of greed. Even at the opening of episode 1 as soon as I heard the geologist jumped off the helicopter I knew right away the gold rush had to be a scam. I couldn't wait for the episode 3 to come out so I went and read up on Wikipedia. Most fascinating. Of course Ontario Teacher's Pension Plan was among the victims as in many financial scandals.
