Congratulations on your finds. Reuniting the owner with their lost ring is a reward in itself. I was called out on July 4th for a lost diamond engagement/wedding band set for a young woman who lives out of state. I found her ring around 40 minutes after my arrival with my Equinox 800. I’m always glad that I can help. 👍
What a bloke you are mate. Returning the ring to that gentleman and his hands shaking made me so happy that he’s been reunited with his ring that means so much to him. Keep up the good work. Cheers mate.
Well done! Restores faith in humanity. I was at a beach a few years ago, saw a lady approach a detectorist, crying & begging for his help. He gave it a few swings and gave up. I did notice he triangulated the position. We went and got a rake, helped her locate it. I’m sure he was disappointed when he came back. I’m just getting back into hobby, going on my FIRST beach hunt this weekend in Galveston with my new Nokta
That's so awesome..great job searching.. I found a class ring that was lost for a little over 21 yrs..it took me a little over a year to track the owner down...he was so happy and thought he would never see it again..what a great feeling...🙂😄
I love hearing the families in the background having fun and playing together in the water. I remember that feeling on vacation and it’s like there are no cares in the world. Being in the moment. No distractions. Just friends and family having a good time.
It's such a great feeling when someone does a good deed for others. My wife, mother in law and myself were in the drug store. I happened to look down and found a diamond in the rug. They asked what I found and I showed them and told them. I went to the counter and asked if anyone lost a diamond in the store. The first thing out of the cashier's mouth was, 'oh my God you found it.' Apparently a customer was in the store and the stone fell out of the setting. It was about a carrot but I didn't know the quality. They called right there and the customer was so thankful. I never met the person because we had to leave. But it really is a great feeling
@@DetectFlorida Yep. I've seen money fall out of the pocket of people. Ran over to get it back to them. Often people don't have a lot of money and what they have is important to them. It was Christmas money. Why keep something that you know isn't yours and you know who owns it
Nice recovery. So 4 weeks after you filmed this, I’m 2 hours north of this area on vacation and it’s windy, wavy and no clear water so I’m dry sand hunting the powder sugar sand and I find a silver St Christopher protect us pendant, a silver ring and 3 bling rings over two days. Keep up the great content. Happy hunting 😊
That is an outstanding video. Of course the ring return was great but your production of this video is just as good. You tell the story from beginning to end. You explain what you're doing and how your machine is reading the targets. Very enjoyable and I watched from beginning to end. Well done on all accounts.
I totally agree with you Florida Rob, you said what I was thinking. I am now subscribed to this channel. I saw one video of yours last night and he had me hooked.
I just found your channel two days ago, and I am so glad i did! The fact that you don't charge people, or expect a reward is so impressive. You have renewed my faith in people quite a bit. In addition, you are just so much fun to watch and listen to while you are detecting. I'm hooked. I couldn't wait to hit the subscribe button and the bell. Congratulations on finding the guys wedding ring. The "wrong" ring is gorgeous! GL&HH!
New to the channel looking to get into the hobby that is so cool you did that for him! My dad lost his wedding ring of 42 years and I found it over a year later in the back of the truck bed that went through a hard winter multiple car washes and it stayed in one corner buried with dirt that man's response was just like my dad's my dad was shaking started crying gave me a big hug I was like it was right there the whole time in the back of your truck lol 😁 cool video bro
Man I love that you really care about your customers, and your genuine happiness came through when you found it for them, that type of joy is so infectious. You were thinking of them being happy and not the money they can pay you.
Just happened upon your channel and instantly subscribed. I grew up in Florida and loved detecting! Great job returning the ring and you were rewarded for that! Peace
Thank you for being so honest and returning it to the owner! I think the real gold was the amazing clarity of the water! Loved this video for that alone! 🥰😎
10 million present respect to you and what you do. I brother and I went Metal Detecting at the Beach and the only thing that we found was the beach! Thanks again for what you do
Thank you for helping finding lost wedding bands, I myself lost mine in 2019 and never found it again so I know how sad those people must feel having lost theirs
You're really good at finding people's rings. What are the odds? Well done! Fabulous stuff. Also, what a beautiful beach. Such white sand and clear water. Gorgeous.
@@flbizowner9384 It's almost never that nice at that beach!! I don't normally give out locations when they're producing good finds. A lot of other detectorists watch my videos so they can hunt the same areas that I hunt.
@@DetectFlorida appreciate the reply. I understand your perspective. I’m not treasure hunting. Just another Floridian who likes to enjoy other beautiful beaches. I figured out the location. Thank you
Thank you very much!! I was in South Florida here. I don't typically give out my locations because a lot of other detectorists watch my videos and want to know where I hunt. I want to continue to make great videos for you guys. Hard to do that when I get to a spot and its all hunted out!
Great vid as usual! Wonder what sites people use to post their lost jewelry. A friend of mine lost his wedding band last week in Daytona beach and maybe he should search for online help.
I just found your videos about 3 days ago. I absolutely love watching what you do and how you reunite people with their cherished possessions. I’m curious also, what beach is this? You show some very beautiful beaches. I live in southeast Alabama and one day would love to move somewhere beautiful in Florida. I was just wondering if when you are making your videos, could you tell us where you are and what beach you are at? I love to Google different areas and see what they are like and if they are possibly someplace I would like to visit or live. Keep up the wonderful things you are doing.
Hey Jenny. I don't always share my locations because so many people metal detect these days. A lot of them want to search where I search. If I go out and someone had just been there metal detecting, I won't be able to make a video of me finding nothing. If it's a beach that I don't regularly frequent, I'll usually say where I am.
@@DetectFlorida That is very understandable. I never even thought if that. I do enjoy watching your videos and seeing what hidden treasure you find next. Have a wonderful day!
I saw quite a few fish, right in among the people swimming. There is a beach near me, that is popular in the summer, it would have as many people again per square meter as were in your clip. It is one of the only beaches in the city that has sand and shell base. And I fish there year round, just turn up right on dusk, and fish for an hour, on the rising tide. And in the summer, there will still be heaps of people swimming even after dusk, and I catch really nice fish just feet away from them. :) Usually what happens is people laugh when they see me bait up, and say "MATE !. You can't think you are going to catch a fish HERE". And I almost always catch two or three keepers, and smile at them. The fish are just so used to people swimming, that it is as if there is no one there.
What a great video. You are a cool-ass dude returning that ring. Awesome! It made my weekend. Thank you for being you. I wish you many finds and fun doing it.
Wow listening to the phone conversation that you had with the ring owner made my heart melted when he offered you many and you refused, you have a beautiful soul keep doing what you're doing my friend ❤️ and keep sharing your videos cause I enjoyed them by the way I am new to your channel.
Love your video definately a new subber, how nice that clear water you detect in..!! I was recently at the CA beach morro Bay and that water sure throws you around was next to difficult hunting in it!! Thanks again for the video.. you are very noble thank you..
First time watching your channel and I'm blown away by how awesome your heart is! God bless you for doing what you do. Glad you found that other great ring! I'll be tuning in frequently. Where in Florida are you located? We are in Clearwater.
Bless you man you are a saint. I've seen young women sit and throw up, because it was so much stress when they lost their ring....... been almost passed out when they got it back. I want you to know. Lots and lots of people have the resources to help you out. Just ask them you want to buy a new detector to help other people, they might just do that for you. There's a lot of people out there with a lot of resources and they would love to help others, and that's one way to do it. You rock.... remember the world will help you, when you help others. 😊
I can watch this all day. I lost my wedding band in my garage, and a month later found it, was in the garage door track, standing on its side, so I would have never noticed it with the garage door closed. When I retire, I would love to get a decent detector and do this, those guys in the Aussie outback finding those gold nuggets, wow, I assume it’s not fake.
you remind me of Man+River, you are both Awesome people for doing what you do, you restore a little faith in me in a world gone crazy. Please don't stop what your doing, We all need to do a little better like you. Thanks for the video :)
New subscriber to your channel, that was really cool to see from beginning to end and very grateful person getting his ring back, God bless you bro for doing this for people
That’s amazing, great job. What a kind person you are. It’s seems crazy in this day and age but to a lot of us our wedding rings are so special. I would ugly cry if I lost mine after wearing them for 35 years. What beach was this, the sand and water are gorgeous. Job well done
Thank you!!! There's a lot of other people out there that do what I do, too! Most do it for money, and I get that. But it's SO much fun to go out on a mission and accomplish it!! Unfortunately, I don't give out locations much anymore. A lot of other detectorists follow my channel and want to hunt where I hunt. I want to keep making videos, but I can't if I go to the beach and other detectorists cleaned it out already
@@DetectFlorida I totally get that. I do not have the patience to do what you do. I’m a sit in the sad looking for shells kinda girl that’s why I was wondering the beach the sand looked nice and the water clear. I find my good shells right at the edge of the water. Now I understand why my Mom did it all those years with my children. My Grandchildren want me to take them and teach them how to shell
I have two silver rings spinners just like the white gold ring good job reuniting people with lost treasures that have sentimental value it’s hard sometimes losing the things you love
❤❤❤ thank you for what you do! Beautiful beach! My family lives in Florida, what beach are you at mate?! Doesn't seem that crowded-which I love. Thanks & CONGRATULATIONS!!! Really appreciate what you do. I would retun as well 🎉❤🌊⛱️🌤🐚🐟
As a man who lost two wedding bands I can tell you how it upsets you. More than just sentimental value I lost my first one over twenty years ago and I still regret it…playing at the beach with our dog. Now I’m on my third and I’m so afraid of losing it I hardly ever wear it.
@@DetectFlorida I get the look on their faces part. I don't do anything as good as you but I'm setup to restore vintage cast iron. 100 year old cast iron can get pretty nasty and hard to clean for the average person. They'll have grandmas skillet but it looks like Fido's butt and they've already tried to wash it and given up. I'll put in into the electrolysis tank and 12 hours later it'll be stripped down to gray iron ready to be re-seasoned and used. They'll be in disbelief, I've had some to say "that's not mine". I usually don't charge anything unless there are several pieces. We aren't changing the world but if everyone would do something nice the world would change. That's why I appreciate what you do, it makes a difference.
