" No , I'm not playing along with all the lies ". This person is an absolute diamond of a man and he is rare.

Oliver is a true Scotsman and fellow Britain. I respect him as he is a man of integrity.

When I was about 15 yrs old I saw the shape of a young girl walking towards me from the corridor next to our front room. I could clearly see both legs and she appeared to be wearing a night gown. I was not at all frightened but didn't mention this to anyone except my Mother maybe a year later. Her words were " oh, so you've seen her too". Whoever this child was, she was not there to cause harm. RIP her little soul.

I have serious respect for Neil Oliver.

I've experienced two events. First was when my boss had a tractor accident. He was taken to hospital and we were told at work that he was OK. I had this foreboding that he wasn't OK and told my mother that I thought that he had died. Then we got the phone call. I was 19. In 1994 we had a trip to the UK. We went to Bolton Abbey where there was a delightful little church. We went inside but within minutes I felt a melancholy and sat down. I then burst into tears. As soon as I left I was fine. A few years later we were at Bolton Abbey again I thought I'd try again. Same thing happened. A genuine sadness engulfed me. I see myself as a down to earth sensible sort of person but sometimes I wonder.

Near death experiences are profound too. My grandson died when he was 5. Years later (when he would have been 13 or 14) my daughter nearly died during emergency surgery. She saw her son on the other side of a meadow. He was taller, older, stockier and his blonde hair was brown. He was smiling at her. She went to walk across to him but he shook his head 'no' and held his hand up. My daughter came round from surgery, sobbing years of joy. The surgeon said they thought they'd lost her, but she was overjoyed that she'd seen her son again 🙏

One lovely day we were driving in our car with the windows open, at the end of the lane where we proceeded on to the main road there suddenly was the sound of a motorcycle overtaking us at speed we both heard it, but there was nothing there. Then on another day we saw there was some flowers tied to the signpost at the side of the road on that very spot.

Wonderful subject matter. I love the acknowledgement that most people that have a paranormal experience don't make it up, they are earnest and certainly experienced something.

Yes I have had these experiences a few times in my life , were I can confidently say we are not what we think , we are much more

I'm from the UK. In 1999 I was in Oz travelling. In Brisbane one evening I lost my passport. The next day I found it as it was found by someone who handed it in. I have a first, middle and last name and the person who found it had the same middle and last name as I. How strange and what's the chance of that. It still freaks me out.

This is a topic I have had a life long obsession with. Parapsychology is fascinating, there is certainly another world, another plane of existence that coexists with our own reality.

What a spectacularly interesting conversation. Despite pop culture references in abundance, we seem to fail to give the paranormal any serious, sincere attention compared to previous generations. I feel a rare anticipation for this book!

I lived in a haunted house for 9 years. It was in equal measures terrifying and amazing. Odd things would happen all the time knocks, bangs, all the usual. Some of the strangest things were water materialising inside from mid air, one morning I came down to find an employee name tag (nothing to do with us) hanging from an empty picture hook in the living room, furniture moving by an unseen force, and perhaps the oddest thing, was a large piece of flint with stone tools in a circle around it, appearing in the border direct in front of our front door seemingly overnight. The activity stopped when we uncovered an engraved symbol hidden under the paint of the windows. I still can’t, rationally, explain what when on there.

I will be buying this book. I have got and read all of Neil Oliver's books, they are really entertaining and informative, I highly recommend his 'Wisdom of the Ancients', pure reading pleasure.

My late father who didn't believe ghosts had 4 experiences he was very puzzled by it, it's connected to time and space on some level in my opinion and quantum entanglement with parallel realitys.

What I find interesting, is how this has inspired people to open up about their own unique & fascinating paranormal experiences along their life's path. This world in which we inhabit, holds far more secrets, magic & mystery, levels within levels that we can't even comprehend, but it's 'all' interconnected around us, & within us, as it's all 'energy' based, & emits frequencies.

Britain, it is VERY important you maintain a sense of yourselves as a nation. You have to resist the glibalist agenda and relish your unique character. It's the best protection you have against the foreign mob that would have you feel you owe foreigners your bood and treasure.🇭🇲

I have a weird story: around 5 years ago, i was coming back from a family holiday to my terraced house in scotland (built 1894). We parked the car outside our house, and went through the back door, through the garden, and then down the steps. When I was waiting for my dad to get the keys, i was looking at the window at around a 70 degree angle from me. The light was on. Then, around a few seconds later it somehow turned off. I must stress that this house does not have any fancy electrics set up - they last got updated in the early 80s. Also, they didn't break as when we turned them back on, there was no problem doing that. There was absolutely no way it happened by itself. I also should add that I was around 13 or so when this happened (i'm quite young), and have never had any mental health problems. My neighbours have also reported weird sightings in their houses, and many people have died on the street recently. It's honestly pretty scary.

I say my home is haunted with the memories left her i bought my kids up in this house my young grand kids used to play here stay here. Now there all gone living there best lifes and i am left with the memories and the ghosts of an empty house

Ghost hunting TV programmes have all the equipment you can think of. Infra-red cameras, heat detectors, pressure detectors, EMF meters. High frequency microphones, heat sensitive cameras. Everything except a feckin ghost.

So many aspects of Neil Oliver cannot be under estimated..this book is another production of interest to many…written by him from experiences over the years…likened to an archeological dig unearthing what otherwise be hidden to many…thankyou Neil for giving us this book to be an historical record.❤

Long story short - I once rented a house ,just me no-one else . Totally detached 30's build house, nearest neighbour 200 yds away. All kinds strangeness happened , doors slamming for no reason, TV & kettle coming on by themselve , foot steps up & downstairs , voices heard in rooms , odd because I was the only one there! Never frightened just fascinated . Owner later admitted that her husband had died in the house & the house was cheap to rent because previous renters did a quick exit for the same reason!

The thing is you have a paranormal experience and generally keep it quiet in case of being ridiculed

If only because so many people experience stuff and the have done for millennia. We just don’t have the knowledge to explain what it is yet 🌈🌻

I have ghost voices on 2 videos. Same voice one whispered ‘Help Me’ then another time the same voice whispered my name. Only heard it when uploading my video. I didnt hear it at the time.

In Ireland - Samhain (1 November) is the time when the boundary between this world and the other world is thinned - thus on the night of Halloween (31 October) - the souls of the dead walk the night - (Christianity took this Pagan tradition and we have All Souls Day on 1 November). Lots of haunted places in Ireland and stories connected/encounters with ghosts. And we have the 'wee folk (fairies)' we do not cut down the hawthorn trees on the known fairy forts and/or fall asleep in one either.

I sat on the toilet one night ,my dog who was quiet aggressive came in and jumped on the bath indicating he wanted a drink,he was slurping away when he stopped and started growling and showing his teeth in my direction,I told him to behave as he had a habit of going after spiders or a fly ,but he got worse and his eyes followed something I could not see along the bath at head height right around to the wash bowl the other side of the bathroom,by this time he was frothing at mouth and barking really loud,I decided it was time to leave with a cold shiver down my spine ,The same thing happened a day later this time I jumped out of there quickly and left the dog to get on with it ,until he started crying and sounded really scared so I let him out really creepy

I come from a line of Seers, as a child I was advised to avoid saying to much to people on how I saw life, to avoid ridicule. Now at 72 years old I have used my gift freely without charge on many occasions. However my experiences have taught me that I really don't know what it's all about. I, as us all will have to wait until I'm in another place to understand.

I never would have thought. Good on ya! Expanding the public awareness. I've not delved in to ghosts per se, but premonitions I could speak to. I all does appear to be part of a broader field under the paranormal banner. I follow Jeffrey Mishlove's interviews which he now creates on RU-vid channel 'New Thinking Allowed'. They often cover this & related topics.

I disappeared once near Oban (near the Barn), probably through a portal. My gut told me to turn around and go back the way I came in the Woods when I had the feeling that I would be missing like a 411 if I continued.

I've never witnessed anything paranormal but had a very strange experience when me and my daughter had the exact same dream on the same night. It was about my car being stolen and covered in leaves. We never discuss dreams, so it's very strange that we even found out about it.

Have to look out for this book...certainly one of my favourite subjects...supernatural and spooky happenings. Had several spooky experiences in my life. My aunt and I would always talk about this and when she died I often wondered if I'd get a sign from her. And I did. I remember one day being in the bathroom and looking in the mirror and it was a time when we were sorting out her affairs at the lawyers...I sighed and wondered looking in the mirror and went..."Must try and keep my head on this despite my sadness". The bathroom light came on above the mirror on its own. The light DOESN'T work full stop but it suddenly came on and I just knew!. I mind looking around and I just smiled...ghosts or spirits sometimes make contact via electrical equipment and lights...it as just one sign I got. Everyone has a weird experience they can't explain but people are always too scared to discuss it. We shouldn't be. Looking forward to this book, it sounds a great read.

Very interesting. My coworkers and I experienced many unexplained phenomena when we worked for Colonial Williamsburg. The one I encountered regularly loved to pull pranks and had quite a sense of humor. One of my coworkers was a medium who had a theory that they would only appear to someone who was receptive. I believe this is a reason why actual ghosts never appear on ghost tours. I would tell people to only go on ghost tours if they want to hear ghost stories and see where ghosts have been spotted.

Last year, i woke up in the night and my quilt covered my head, and my right leg was up in the air with my hip was off the bed. I have seen and heard things in my house, including shadow people.

Since we live in a 'quantum' world there is something strange which has yet to be explained.

I have only had one paranormal experience. In an old sandstone governor's house on the North Coast of Australia that is now a holiday rental, built in the 1800s. It's always had a haunted feeling about it. One night I woke up and reached over for my cup of water in the dark like I do most nights and it wasn't there. I tried to turn on the lamp to find it but the lamp was gone too. I got up and put on the main light and the glass of water and lamp had been flung across the other side of the room. My husband was in the room next to me and he said he woke up in fear before I switched on the light and heard me moving around. He was brought up as a Catholic but wasn't a practicing Catholic anymore and the first time in his adult life he said he woke up saying the rosary as an instinctive form of protection. Neither of us have an explanation for that event but it happened.

Just think of all the dead, buried and unburied that we've accumulated over the past few years. The weight of their angry presence just beyond our senses...

I got to spend the first 6 years of my life in a house that was a converted Saloon from the Gold Rush here in California......That place had other things in it other then my family. I 100% believe in a afterlife, and it is a big contributor that brought be back to my Christian faith.

The story of the little black car reminds me of premonition dreams which repeat sometimes over & over, presumably trying to warn you about something. I’ve had them myself.

Some of us have many of these experiences that defy explanation or are believed.

We are tri partite beings: spirit soul and body; and there are spirits out there attempting to find homes.We have to be very careful what we open our spirit to and come under the protection of the blood of Jesus to protect us, it is never a good idea to engage with other entities as they can be very deceitful and dangerous.

Specsavers in Northampton is haunted. Several members of staff have seen and heard extremely strange and unexplained incidents.

Neil Oliver very interesting book as I have a camera filter that can see ghosts due to some amazing physics of light and look it's well known from folk who studied time travel slips in the past that emotional trauma of battles and murder can travel through time as Earth's time field is effected by consciousness as any time lord who knows about the Earth's time field or studied the 1925 book on Thoth would know. Extremely interesting subject as we should listen to the females voices of the past crying out to the future although they didn't know it at the time. Look, time is parallel not linear as all time still exists.

I woke up the morning of the Concorde crash and was confused to see it on the news. "How could it crash? They were grounded and one in New York needed special permission to fly back to Europe" Then sometime later I saw a news story of the Concorde in New York getting special permission to return. The news report down to the finest detail was what I had seen. I guess it was in my dream that night. But I have no doubt, the details were too accurate and perfect. However dreams don't usually have writing in detail. What I saw was exact to the news report.

This three dimensional reality is connected to other dimensions in ways few of us understand. Sometimes energy leaks through, and is perceived by us.

Although I've experienced other paranormal encounters, I had a respectful scepticism and would be open to the idea of stone tape theory, infrasound...but after a series of more "spiritual" encounters (none terrifying, some welcoming) in the most varied locations, what it is I don't know but there's something.

I do believe some people are more sensitive/receptive/aware of these phenomana. I say this because most people don't seem to have had a paranormal experience, hence disbelieve it happens & i understand. I can assure you, what we call ghosts/poltergeists/demons/light beings etc.along with other phenomena are a reality. I've experienced them in different forms. I've felt, heard, seen, ignored, interacted with them. Some are frightening, or benign, whereas others are certainly divine encounters - DON'T DISMISS IT. I do not dabble in spiritualism, i'm a R.Catholic & shouldn't be seeing them BUT i do & have seen & known they are there & they seem to know i'm aware of them too. I will talk about them if the subject comes up & don't particularly care if i'm not believed. Believe me, i've known & seen them from childhood and more than even Neil would be prepared to believe and i"m an ordinary person and as far as brilliant angelic beings are concerned, Crazy, i've seen them too & i'm not church-going, or pious nor a bible puncher. I cannot tell you why this is so or cannot say when i will have an encounter, it just happens. My husband says i'm a beacon on this physical plane for them in the spirit world . Some of the encounters i've had are hair raising- i could write a book on my experiences 😉.

I've been visited by a huge great spirit. I ended up predicting what i was going to do. It all came to pass without me even thinking about it. I saw a few spirit around the same time. Heard too. I blocked it out. l experienced Astral projection too.
