Some very profound excerpts, very well assembled. Thank you once again Alan. For what it’s worth, I largely owe my continued existence to Rupert Spira, and to Alan Watts. These two men have done more for my recognition as to what is happening than anything else I have encountered, and I am very thankful.
To know thyself is to experience peace; to know peace is to understand the frequency of love; to truly understand the nature of love is the recognition of who ‘I am’. Thank you Alan, and thanks to Rupert! 🙏🙏 This is timeless!
Rupert's words in this video prompted a recollection of something that Nisargadarta once said: “Wisdom is knowing I am nothing,. Love is knowing I am everything. And between the two my life moves."
@@renesonse5794 Since this was translated from Marathi, there may be variations. From memory, I thought it was "between the two my life unfolds." but it turns out I am wrong 🙂. although I do have a preference for "unfolds" 😂
All of your compilations are just great, dear Alan... but this one is my favourite so far. Rupert's teaching is so clear and the more I listen to it the clearer it becomes - thank you both! And I'm really happy for Mary and Jane! :)
That is a fantastic observation about the contrast between the Asian cultural expression of the "extraordinary" in contrast to the "ordinary" experience of it, wow!
@@tamunakobaliya5376 Sorry I don't know. I was referring to what he was saying. But if you put this question in the comment section rather than as a reply to mine, you might be lucky, coz the guy who makes and uploads these videos reads and replies to the comments. xx
Dear Alan, if Rupert is a bird he is the Simorgh. You are the Hoopoe upon whom we gather, messenger of the divine ! The Simorgh is the mirror in which you contemplate your true face, desapearing in it like the shadow does in the miday sun. Leaving no trace not even the trace of a path. Gratitude !
Very interesting I had heard the metaphor of king Liar and John Smith so many times and had never realized the fact that what they both had in common was that they both call himself “I” The doorway to liberation!!
I subscribe to his talks on his website. If you have a yearly plan they work out to around £2.50 each for a two hour talk. Thanks for your comments BTW.
Hi, I am listening through headphones, but in this video sound is delivered only to one side. My headphones are working perfectly with any other video. So, I want to bring attention to this, it s not comfortable to listen.. Thanks.
Can you recognise that you have made a definitive comment which is obviously not true as the majority of listeners like the music. If you'd have said I find the music intrusive, it would avoid a possible arguemementatiive response 💕🙏
