Wonderful playing by all, but for me Larry is the man!

I just hope I live as long as Larry.. Great straight ahead playing from both Larry and Sam, the kid did great and a rhythm section that's in the pocket, locked in and taking care of biz, what's not ta luv, great band, great playing all round.. Wish I'da been there.

My complaint about Larry is this. I mean he plays good at all. Please just the right notes. Plays with unbelievable swing and lyricism. Knows exactly what he’s doing. Has a wealth of experience. Incredible language. Expertly weaving melodies

Fui trompetista da Banda de Música do Colégio Salesiano Santa Rosa, na minha terra natal, Niterói, onde aprendi a amar o Jazz. Hoje, com 77 anos não toco mais porém sou seu fã.
