That was a great review! Thanks for covering all those topics and the detail you went into on them. Looks like a good little local errand runner for sure.
Staci, Thank you for the review on the Super 73 S2 E Bike. Honestly the frame reminds of the old Mini Bikes I rode when I was little. I’ve been watching videos on the Super 73 for a long time but your videos have been the most in depth I’ve seen. Yes riding with a buddy would be a lot more fun especially when Riding To Food.
Riding buddies are great. I don't have any around me that ride E-bikes, so I go on out of state rides. I did meet a local group, but I think the leader was a bit intimidated by my bike being modified. Super73 has the best community 😊
I’ve had the opportunity to test ride both the LiveWire as well as a Zero motorcycle. The instant torque with the electric motorcycles is SO nice. I’d love to try out an electric e-bike as well. The convenience of hopping on a motorized bicycle is really attractive. Nice review. Thanks!
Very cool!!! I haven’t ridden any Zero’s yet but I’ve heard great things. Haven’t gotten to ride the livewire either. Only have sat on it. Lol! I bet you’ll have fun on an ebike. It’s pretty hard not to :)
So glad I found this video! This is literally the review I needed and have been looking for!!! I live in Denver super close to the platte and work downtown like 10 min car ride. My Plan was to get that model to ride to work and back via that trail when we go back to the office so I don’t have to deal with parking, gas, etc! I was a little concerned if ppl might think it’s a scooter/motorcycle on the bIke trail but looks like you had zero issues?! Thank you for this review!
Don’t underestimate the S1. My wife and I got them from EBikes USA at Cherry Creek and we love them. I get 25, 30 and 35 miles with 1/4 tank still left and I’m 190 lbs. But def buy one. They’re showing up like crazy on the Denver bike trails and it’s people using them to replace their cars!
I've got over 600 miles on my Super73 S2 and still love it. I do want to upgrade my seat to something with more padding. I also wish the throttle was a twist rather than thumb activated...my hand gets numb. CHEERS
Super73 s2 owner love my bike! If it’s out of your budget there’s other companies that have decent looking bikes also, like Juiced bikes or Ariel Rider(the new 52v x class especially) are also great options!
Cool review! I did a search for this specific eBike and came across your channel (which I now am sub'ed to), great content! I'm going to be doing some solo riding this year on my Sporty, but can see getting one of these little guys for jaunts to the local grocery store, which is only a couple miles away. That big, empty frame is just begging to have a custom canvas bag added for some grocery hauling.
wink wink!! your beach cruiser version sounds rad! I would have to find a way to get a rear suspension going. Nice video, I hope we get to see more of these style of reviews
Yeah, Mileage on a charge is down to so many variables! You can't take any of a company's figures in a serious manor, As no doubt they come to those numbers from mathematics or lab testing in optimal conditions. It's far from real world scenarios. If you do take them to heart, You'll be very disappointed by your outcome lol And these hub motor systems are not that efficient either compared to mid drives (I've owned both). Hubs are best for cruising in my opinion and I prefer them, But the downside is they eat power much more quickly - especially under load (hills and weight - Which is what you have an ebike for right?). 40 miles is good going my dear well done! Helps when the weather is mild the journey is flat and you use that PAS while limiting your bike's power output.
For the price they're asking for one of these, I would probably never buy one. Mostly, that's because there are other things I'd rather buy in its place for the same dollar amount. I do think they're neat though. Another good video as well.
Juicy booty!! Whoohooo , I have the opposite 😆 I’m hoping to get this one , I’m so undecided among three brands atm. But this brand is so dope looking. Great review too.
Interesting! I thought they were pretty juiced but like I mentioned, it was my First and only ebike experience. I wouldn’t want this thing to go any faster. It was pretty sketchy at high speed compared to riding a real motorcycle 🤣
@@ridetofood yea I just been doin research cause i plan on getting one. What I’ve seen is the torque is a lot faster compared to the 73. Also going uphills is a lot better. But I love the 73 look. Imma wait to see if 73 upgrades their stuff. Pretty sure they will in the future.
Enjoyable video! Well done! Thanks for sharing! Yeah that's right I do food reviews while on the toilet. My brother does his foody fashion shows on my channel also. He wears songs now.
When you started talking about the range and I seen the clip I was like denver?? And then you said downtown denver I got excited haha I live in denver I used to ride my ZX to and from work it was so fun unfortunately my bike got stolen and Super73 doesn’t have anything to try and help find it so I lost out
That’s mentioned in the range test video! I think 10....but that’s not really an accurate readinvsince the bike wasn’t always on. Lol that’s why I based it on mileage
So are you saying there's no actual speed limit difference between mode 1 n 4? Only the acceleration? I'm having trouble picking between the Super73 S1 or the S2 id need it for city riding an can only go about 20mph. Which i thought the S2 speed mode #2 would achieve 🤔
Check that screenshot between the modes from the app and it will show you exactly how fast you can top out in each mode. The levels on the other hand seem to let you accelerate faster the higher you go in number and there’s also 4 of those. So four modes. Four levels.
🐍You enjoyed riding your Super73 over flat ground. Truth is Super73 is the weakest, lowest torque overpriced underperformer Scrambler type ebike out there. You have a lot of SUBS, for sure Arda & Chloe would love to have you review and keep one of there Ariel Rider Ebikes. Get one of their bikes and the whole AR community will be drawn into your net when videos spread threw all the AR FB groups. 🐍
Thanks! Perhaps if you know these people on a personal level, you should have them reach out! This channel primarily focuses around gas powered motorcycles, not electric vehicles. :) This loaner was fun for what it was and as I mentioned at the very beginning of this video, I have no other experience with ebicycles.
Can you please help me out!? I purchased an s2 recently and I noticed it's missing the jockey wheel. I've seen it on other s2 even though it's single gear, plus the pictures that Super73 shows the jockey wheel when buying the bike. But mine did not come with one. I noticed yours doesn't have it either. Is this an extra thing one pays for??
I have no idea. I don’t own this bike. Super73 let me use it for a couple weeks and then I had to give it back and I haven’t heard from them since. That was a year ago lol! Sorry!
Check you local laws it's actually not legal in most places because it exceeds the performance guidelines for a bicycle and as far as I know it's difficult if not impossible to register a vehicle without a chassis with a serial number but don't listen to me I'm just another idiot check your local laws
@@ridetofood Do you use the built-in mic? I use it but the sound is too much for any commentary...ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xtENzhdUsmU.html for review if you have time and interest?
@@MileHighVertical yes the built in mic! :) if you're looking for a "motovlogging" helmet set up so that you can talk while riding, i'd recommend asking another motovlogger honestly. I dont talk and ride. I just do voice overs in post so I can enjoy the ride when im out on two. :)
@@ridetofood I suck at post production. You have the mojo. lol Since you are from Colorado, maybe will bump into each other at some point. Happy wheels till then
Not to be rude, but I know what brands/models of two wheels I like, I'm sure most folks who ride do as well...however not always the case with local food hot spots....just saying...
@@smooth2260 I think your comment and objective with my channel is very self-centered. I would kindly like to remind you that there are many others out there who do not have the riding experience that you or I do, and without insight, they might never find out. Growing the sport of motorcycling and the love of touring go hand in hand, and I am here to help with that. I think you want this to be flavortown, and I am not here to wear the pinky rings. sorry bud. Food is all a part of the adventure. but so is the ride, and the vehicle that gets you there.
@@smooth2260 The everyone gets a trophy angle seems like bit of a stretch from this conversation. I think people who spend a crazy amount of time creating free content for us to enjoy don't appreciate having their art boiled down to such a simple form when the video title clearly articulates what we can expect from the video. Your original comment reads like the youtube version of requesting freebird!
let me get this straight, you have a 2000 watt motor feeding on a 960 watt hour battery ?? my flashlight has more power than that. "ride to food???"" I hope you live next door to McDonald's
