Bronwyn Joy Winfield was a young, bubbly, life-loving young woman who rose above a difficult childhood to become a devoted mother. She disappeared in 1993 - never to be seen again. In a new podcast, Hedley Thomas investigates.
After disappearing from her family home at Lennox Head, the 31-year-old supposedly abandoned two daughters, clothes, jewellery, ephemera - and a fragment of autobiography.
These images are testimony to the adamant belief of Bronwyn Joy Winfield’s family and friends that she would never have walked away from her own children - Chrystal and Lauren - on that distant Sunday night at Lennox Head.
