Barry is such a large then life character of the lower leagues having previously been the manager at Barnet who bought into football league in 1991 Southend United and Birmingham City which Barry Fry promised to get the blues out the 1st division in his first season which he did by relegation to the 2nd division in 1994 and was sacked by Gold and Sullivan in 1996. Barry Fry becoming the manager at London road for the 1996 - 1997 season, Peterborough United are in club crisis. The Posh are rock bottom of the Nationwide 2nd division rooted to the foot of table and head for relegation and the club are also heading for financial ruin as the club is in administration and which mean the club could be wounded up and go bust which gives Barry Fry the bright idea of buying the club and become the chairmen and kinda of saving the day for Peterborough United.
