There's Something About Amy (Part 3): August 4th, 2022. What do you think is gonna happen next?...

The voice actress for Amy is phenomenal her tenderness yet psychopathy just mixes perfectly to where you feel sorry for her but she's ultimately still way crazy

Everyone is talking about Amy's VA, and she was amazing, but not enough praise is given to Sonic's VA. He conveyed, fear, anger, disappointment, sadness, regret, and disgust very well

Amy may have been crazy and scary, but are we just gonna ignore Sonic losing his rings at 2:46? I think that’s a split second of comic relief right there.

It's been said before, but Amy's voice actress is phenomenal, not to mention this episode CREEPED me out more than Sonic.exe. The way she screams, the raw emotion, how she changes from innocence to madness to utter desperation... I actually felt sorry and horrified for Amy at the same time.

I love how Amy's madness comes from the fact that all of her sacrifices , all of her endurances turn out to be the things that kept her from the one she loves most

This series (theres something about) is so creative with the way they take the characters of the sonic series. The fact that they fully commit, and play out their ideas to the strongest degree is remarkable in and of itself. The fact that the execution is phenomenal as well is the true masterpiece here. Whoever your writers are: give them a raise, as well as your animators, and your sound designers, and your voice actors, and everyone else involved lol.

Everyone is talking about how scary Amy is, but I honestly think the scariest part was when she said tails at the end, with absolute full trust in the one person ultimately responsible for all of this.

The fact that Amy’s eyes change when she realises what she did to sonic was such attention to detail to show how much she was brainwashed by the main villain protagonist

Normally I'm not invested in this kind of content, and nor do I usually ship this, but my god. This took one of the most overused and worn out tropes and turned it into a masterpiece, particularly with the voice acting. Even through Amy's psychopathy and sanity slip, you can still hear she's been broken. Especially when she refers to herself pre-modifications as a "creepy caterpillar," when she says "It hurt so much" in such a pained voice before switching back to a crazy one, along with her line of "No no no, *I'm better now..I'm a butterfly...I'm finally beautiful..*," and her realization at what she's done. This has got to be one of my favorites from mashed, along with Luigi's Lament, and Dial L for Luigi. I desire part 4!

The fact that Sonic kept a picture of Amy and him along with the shell bracelet is heartbreaking but also an excellent attention to detail

"He twisted me, hurt me, and would have broken me" That line doesn't get enough recognition. Amy uses the word He referring to Tails, and not it referencing the surgery. Somewhere in Amy mind, she know Tails is evil. Despite knowing that, she still agreed to the procedure. That's really sad.

When we were kids, we laughed at Amy. When we're adults, we understand her.

Harley Quinn’s backstory is looking weirder and weirder these days…😂

The fact Tail’s motivations and endgame is completely up in the air makes this story so much more fun. Did not expect to be this invested in a Sonamy parody animation, but here we are.

I like how Amy wasn't upset just because Sonic turned her down, she was upset that all the pain and procedures she endured was for nothing.

Is it just me or does Amy sound like Harley Quinn 😂

I love how they added the "Never, ever" phrase to Sonic's dialogue just like in Tails secret history.

I absolutely LOVE how tails becomes a villian over this series, especially with him being a scientist, it’s perfect for a plot like this.

I like how Tails managed to surgically change her accent aswell.

Okay so after re-watching this I realize that the lullaby that plays after amy wakes up from her break down (literally and figuratively) the lullaby to me represents amy and her fear, her love and everything while the music that plays for “Amy” is more bold, scary and cold showing two different people. Just a fun fact I realized

Tails saying “What are friends for?” at the end gave me chills. Very well done!

This is actually so amazing. The attention to detail, the creepy still animations of Amy, the voice acting, the little foreshadowing that tails is up to something, like everything is 10/10

Oh, so good! The progression from playful and committed to the source material to a dark and introspective analysis into obsession and manipulation was a welcome surprise. The best creations make you feel, and this one really did

Its always the panning past the picture frames that get me, and the bracelet. It makes me think of all of the experiences sonic and amy had together, and the connections sonic had with other people, how many friends he made that would now suffer from loss because of tails. Including amy. Its all so sickening what tails has done to the innocent people of both this and his home universe. He took everything away from them and ruined anything that was good in the name of his own selfishness. This entire episode- no, series. This entire series makes me cry because they do so well establishing relationships n such and how amy gradually descends deeper and deeper into madness. How sonic was also being manipulated by tails, and did like amy, but didnt know how to express it or what it was. Now, amy lost the one person she lived for because she sacrificed so much for him, only for it to end up as tails... being who she sacrificed for, unknowingly. Breaks my heart that she had to suffer, and the look of dismay in sonics eyes right before she hits him just hits deep. While she was psychotic, he trusted her enough to turn his back while he was vulnerable, still not thinking she would do any worse than that, as well as being distracted by his emotions. Also the detail that I haven't seen mentioned is the blood on all of the picture frames when they cut to them. I think this might sorta symbolize that all the previous memories sonic had with amy or anyone... of how happy he was, and how much he enjoyed life...were all been ruined by what she'd done, and she knew this. Which is made worse by the fact that he'd never be able to experience anything similar to these ever again. Amy basically changed her life from then on, and she could never go back to the good one she'd been living that she never appreciated until now.

Normally I don't like when people depict Amy as a psycho, but this is a very good story. It hurts to see Amy like this, all she wanted was to be loved by Sonic, but she was constantly rejected and neglected. She didn't even mean to kill Sonic, she just had so many bottled up emotions, emotions that took a toll on her mental health. Damn, I really like this!

The fact that Sonic kept pictures of them both and even the shell bracelet showed that Sonic really did care for Amy.

I'm glad that they made sonic actually care about people when in there need. Instead of running away and not worrying about Amy's mental health he actually offered to help her through this trauma. Can't wait for part 3!

Oh my God this part was excellently done, seriously! The way the craziness of Amy progressed was great! The wait for this was worth it, I will wait patiently for the third part!

Also I’m dealing with a yandere they maybe unpredictable however if your the object of their affection then you may be able to maintain control. Gentle affection such as hugging cuddling and head rubbing will snap them back into normality

This is literally so amazing. Whoever’s idea this was, you’re amazing.

One really important detail is how Sonic never retaliated against Amy's look until she got physically violent with him. When he first saw what she had become he could've just run away like he always did and never looked back, but instead he chose to stay and try to reason with Amy. In that moment he showcased his true love for her, and his regret over not reciprocating his feelings for her back. It's so genuine of a moment. You're loved one has gone crazy, but you don't want to abandon them. You want to stay and help them overcome that craziness. You want to get them the help they need despite your fear. That's what true love is... being there for someone even at their lowest.

I'm in love with Amy's voice actress. And the responses Sonic gave when things were approaching the climax, PERFECTION.

Amy's voice actress is fantastic. Very well made. Strong emotions all around. Very detailed.

Now I'm genuinely disturbed...... But seriously, I'm intrigued by seeing amy have a mental breakdown...

In some lines she sounds like harley Quinn

"it hurt so much... It took everything I had" Another line that doesn't get a lot of attention. Amy isn't just talking about physically, she talking about her mental state. She's so broken that she truly believes she's "better".

I love the fact that Sonic wanted to help Amy, it shows he does care about her and wants the old Amy back

I love the detail, like how Amy still has that lucky love charm from Sonic x. I know it was destroyed, but I guess she made another one. But wow, this is amazing. I like how Tails and Amy seem to form this little alliance, and it seems like a good idea at first, but wow do things go south from there LoL. This is really awesome work

What I love is Amy didn’t snap because she “crazy yandere loved” Sonic. She hurt him because she was actually very angry because he *refused* to love her. All the neglect and pain she had came bubbling to the surface, and she lashed out.

I love that sonic actually said he could have even grown to love her, he just wasnt ready. You gotta emagine, we're always seeing sonic in his prime so just because we always see him reject amy doesnt mean it'd never happen in their later years.

the person who voices amy in this should officially voice amy her voice fit her so well

the part that got to me the most was the part where amy looked around and said “i’m better now, i’m a butterfly.” she seemed so.. broken, i mean, she’s been broken but this moment really showed that she was way past her breaking point. amy convinced herself way beyond what was reasonable and was swallowed in the darkness that is her obsession with being loved by sonic and sonic himself. especially the animation, it was so disturbing and it creeped me out so much. the animation is amazing and i love the details, the way it unnerves people. good job, can’t wait for part 3!

Amy's new change is kinda cute though but I still love her iconic old outfit

I have to admit that I felt so sorry for Amy on the final part, it feels like she was just want that Sonic was with her, and she look so sad at the end, besides Sonic seems like hurt him to reject Amy that Way, and when Amy Cried I was so touched.

This version of Amy would work perfectly in a horror game. The mixed, crazy emotions, as well as her desperation for Sonic to love her.

The part where sonic said “I could’ve loved you” is perfect because it feels like it’s what sonic would actually say irl if this happened.

There's a thin line between loving someone and going full on Misery for someone. At that point it seems like it was never love, but more of an obsession.

The way Amy kept saying she did what Sonic wanted when it was Tails who planted that idea in her head. It just goes to show how far Tails manipulated her.

The little "it hurts so much" at 1:13 literally broke my heart, it's disturbingly realistic

The voice actress is outstanding ,really great job on these series i just found out about it and its great.

poor sonic, looking at the story from his perspective just makes it all the more sad.

When Amy said, “You need to love my NOW!”, I felt like she was so scared of HERSELF and what she was capable of doing. I think she knew how unstable she was and how close she was to snapping, and she felt like the only way to end the insanity was for Sonic to love her. Her psyche NEEDED all of this to be worth it. “ He twisted me and HURT me and it would have broken me, but it was all for YOU Sonic!”

Damn that was crazier than part 1. Once again, Amy's voice actress was on point! Sonic's VA was killing it too! I can't wait to see part 3, this is so twisted but weirdly engaging. Really hope Tails pay's for what he did in the end though.

This is actually amazingly horrifying 3:16 Also I love the realization of what Amy has done to an innocent guy, Who she was trying to get his attention. He just wasn't ready to express his feelings to her.

Honestly the voice acting was the best part for me. I also loved the visual changes like the vibrant colors during the havoc, the duller palette after she realized she hurt him beyond repair and much more. It’s all really good!

The fact Tails pushed Amy into thinking she was the problem and that she needed to change, just for Sonic to admit he couldve loved her the way she was was HEARTBREAKING And the bracelet she made for him on Sonic X on the counter? Gosh that was so sad Poor Amy, sadistic Tails really seems to like the situation though. Will wait for part three!!!

It's giving Spinel + Harley vibes...I really didn't expect this to turn so dark but I love it! We don't see enough emotional themes in the Sonic community so this was definitely an unexpected twist. The animation was mesmerizing and so expressive, and the VOICE ACTING, WOO BOY! So much to love about this. Looking forward to part 3

This shakes me more than a horror movie, it’s also great storytelling and gets viewers to anticipate more.

The only thing that sucks is that Amy needs to understand that Sonic needs to focus on more important things like saving Green hills then going out on a date

Am I the only one who loves that Sonic coming out of his room he immediately assumed it was Eggman in his house.

Honestly this Amy design is very heartbreakingly cute…just so dark what she did to show much she cares

2:41 I love the animation while Amy is beating Sonic to death. The quick cuts and crazy neon colors really show Amy's emotions reaching their limit as she is driven by rage in her actions. You can even see the animation getting rougher and rougher leading up to that scene as to show Amy slowly losing her mind.

Oh my god this story is so good

There are times where I as a sonic fan come across stuff that I’m not expecting. And this….is definitely one of those times.

Amy is terrifying. She went from being to an innocent character to completely insane. Excellent work dude.

This is just incredible. Tails didn't just transform Amy phisicaly but mentaly as well, he turned her pure passionate and innocent love into a deadly obcession for Sonic. It's only after she kills him when she snapps out of it and realises what she has done Ecxellent job as always

This is definitely a situation where both side are actually reasonable, for the most part. Sonic is freaked out because he saw the Amy not only broken to his house but also went through a shit ton of procedures to look more appealing to him. Amy is acting crazy because she went through a shit ton of procedures and most likely a shit ton of pain just so sonic would love her.

The fact that Sonic loved her the entire time is actually really sad, she basically did all of this for nothing, not only that but she now lost Sonic forever

"I feel sick." That got to me a little bit. This is very well made, the characters have personality which is something the games have lacked this past decade. Also cool how there are little Easter eggs like that bracelet from Sonic X and that picture from Sonic advance 3.

I am both scared and feel sorry for Amy. All she ever wanted was Sonic's love. And I just love how this part captured that love turned obsession from Amy. Now I'm really interested in what will happen next.
